Stopped in during a bachelor party with a group of 8 and the fella behind the bar was busy with managing the bar but made sure to take care of us. Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere. Definitely will be back! Highly recommend!

We just popped in for a couple of drinks in the afternoon. We were almost the only ones there. The bartender was a pleasant young man and the bar was cool. There was a nice dance floor and room for a band. I imagine there would be a large crowd on the weekends, but we were there on a Monday afternoon.

This WAS a wonderful place to go with good food, good friends, good bartenders and no drama. However, just recently, there are new owners. With no warning at all, they got rid of the Manager Who was there for years and doing a great job. That was February 12, 2025.
Sunday, March 16, 2025 now the new owners accused one of the better bartenders of “palming”money and being a thief. That bartender chose to walk out and all the other employees chose to follow her along with the Cook and DJ.
I am writing this review just so you know what type of a place you are walking in to. Yes, they will have alcohol. Yes, they will have food but no morals and no idea of what they’re doing including cleaning their fryers with gasoline.
The photos that I uploaded are actually between the bartenders and the owners. Just facts.

Very frustrating that have a 21 an older policy even during the day. My 20 year old pregnant fiance can't eat dinner with me at 4 o'clock in afternoon? Will bring my business elsewhere even after she turns 21 in 8 months because this is the only place I've ever had an issue before 8 o'clock. Just don't serve liquor to underaged individuals?

Stopped for Taco Tuesday. We ordered the taco platter - 3 fish or shrimp tacos with chips and cheese sauce on the side. Tacos topped with spicy coleslaw and pico de gallo. 8.99. Excellent! It was my oldest daughters birthday so after work I met her and friends. I've never been there before, it was a Sunday and not very many people. I liked that... I also liked the fact they had several forms of entertainment... Not just a pool table and dart board. Drinks could of been stiffer.... This was the first bar I went to when first moving to the area and I have got to say it has become my favorite. Right away, Cass’s friendly demeanor had me feeling like I was regular. He regularly makes people feel welcomed and greets everyone with a smile. The food is amazing, the staff is awesome! The new changes and events have been inventive and entertaining. Still reaching. S.S.D.D. Not really much of a family grill or a "cool" place to unwind. That was what I was led to believe. If you are an alcoholic bar-fly this is the place for you. On the upside; so far the food was edible. Same ole same ole. You can't improve if you don't change the model. Every place you go, in Rice Lake, is the same with the same regulars. It's just a different address. Uncomfortable from the moment I walked in until I left 30min later. You're lucky I gave you 2 stars. Mostly because I feel bad for the new owner/investor.
