Jessica was an amazing server. She’s nice, attentive, and clearly experienced. Some of the best food i’ve had! Great atmosphere, really cozy. A bit of a small place so maybe don’t bring a huge party. The foods cheap considering how great it is. Personally, I got 2 appetizers. Pretzel bites and Cheese curds. Then for my entree i got “Mackin Cheese” with a side of fries. Honestly felt very professional and high quality! Everything i got was vegetarian friendly, so if that’s what you’re into you’re safe here. Everyone’s polite, the music is great, the temperature is fine, and above that the entire tone they push is hilarious. As a tourist, i recommend this place as a must visit local gem.

I’m near Racine fairly often and tried Toad Hall last month. Nothing fancy - which is what one should expect from an authentic British/Irish pub style neighborhood restaurant. First visit I had the Ooomommy burger, tots, and a Magners cider. Everything was perfect right down to the cider. Last night I had Fish and Chips and a dry Strongbow cider. The cod was crisp in its beer batter and the fries were good (but not as good as those tots). I was intrigued by the menu description of the Coffee Stout Chili so took a bowl to go and had it for dinner just now. It’s one of the BEST chili’s I’ve ever had and that includes my homemade chili. Just the right level of spicy. Both visits the service was friendly and good. Last night it was very busy and the server who was also bartending apologized for a gap in getting back to take my food order. She explained was due to “making four Old Fashioneds and needing to get them just right.” Well duh, it’s Wisconsin and you need to get the Old Fashioneds right!” I will definitely return to Toad Hall my next trip to Racine. No food pictures because it was too good.

Had the meatloaf dinner. The menu online advertised it as being made with bacon and cheese curds. While it didn't have either, it was still good - just not expected. I'm not sure if the menu I saw online was old, or what. Was served with mashed potatoes and maple glazed carrots. Overall, very good. Bar atmosphere was nice with an old-time bar aesthetic. We were on our way to a BBQ place but realized it was closed and decided to try Toad Hall, and we couldn’t have loved it more! So many beer and food options topped off with some board games to play while you wait for your food (but there was no need, the food came out so quick!) The wonton mozzarella sticks and pretzel sticks (with cheese and mustard) were delicious, and the breakfast and Ooo mommy burgers were perfect! Our favorite song even played while we were there. It was meant to be! Can’t wait to come back to Racine and eat here again.

What a great find on our fishing and biking trip to Racine. The hook was the incredibly unique menu items. We started with hot pretzels, awesome cheese and mustard dips. Our server suggested dipping the cheese followed by the mustard and she was correct. I tried the “I Got 99 Poblanos” burger. It was cooked perfectly and had nice slow burn with the spice. I paired it with the cucumber salad. My son had the breakfast burger which had a properly cooked over easy egg, his fries were crispy and seasoned perfectly. Great service and a cool, dark bar atmosphere. So many menu choices all looked fantastic. They also have a wide draft selection.

I didn't get any food. Just stopped in for beer with friends after an event. The best place in town for a beer! Their selection is quite big with lots of different craft brews, which I love. It's the kind of bar where you can have a conversation since there isn't a band or a bunch of crazy loud TV's, like you find at some places. Toad Hall has a low key vibe which I like.

Used to love this place as Shillings, still okay but if it's full and there's only one bartender- here's your warning. (Side note bathroom was a bit disgusting- mildew on the handle of the sink, used paper towel to touch it)
