Everything was good, pork belly buns and cucumber salad. I did however have a long hair in my ramen, and that kinda threw the rest of my appetite off for the rest of the evening there. Unfortunately I wasn’t asked for it to be replaced, but the cucumber salad was taken off the bill. Would’ve rather had the ramen taken off the bill instead but it is what it is

We were told by the cashier/host that we could only have a table if we finished dining within 40 minutes because they had reservations coming in, which felt a little odd. That aside, the food was excellent, truly the best ramen! I’d recommend making a reservation ahead of time.

Culinary games in small to midsize towns in Midwest have been quite strong lately. While it takes a bit of effort to find them, a place like this is absolutely worth visiting. Given that Sheboygan already has some solid restaurants, it is not a surprise that it created another good one. Spicy miso eggs are indeed spicy, which is appreciated. Smoked bone marrow butter served in braised beef mazeman adds to what is already an incredibly broth. Combined with perfectly cooked beef and egg, it is an excellent dish. Chase with a lager from RI and you have a simple but perfect meal. Will absolutely visit again.

Incredible ramen — totally worth the stop!
We found this place by chance while traveling, and it turned out to be amazing! The ramen wasn’t just good — it was truly special, with a unique recipe that stands out from the usual. I’m a big fan of Japanese ramen, and this one had such rich flavor, especially with the melted butter. I even finished every drop of the broth! Honestly, this place might be a good enough reason to plan another trip.

Excellent ramen with an American twist! Delicious apatizers and a selection of great drinks. They always play godzilla films or retro anime on the television. They have tables for reservation only, otherwise you sit at the bar in a first come first served manner. Wonderful place to dine!

This is one of three times Google reviewers have been so wrong its laughable. Its hard to imagine a less inviting space. Dark, bland, shockingly hot and literally steaming, nothing to indicate its even a resturaunt from the outside, cramped bar seating, and super brash staff - that I can't even fault because it was 89 degrees in there with near 100% humidity and no moving air. I'm not exagerating. Whats a floor AC unit run? Couple hundred bucks? A decent fan is half that? What the hell are they doing? I'd be crabby too! 74 outside and 89 inside. After finally getting the chance to come out after going to the West Bend location A LOT... could not be more disappointed, more different of an experience. It doesn't matter if they have the best ramen in the state, they also have easily the worst dining room I've ever entered.

The food was absolutely amazing! However, I’m giving it a three stars because of the service. The cooks were amazing, the food was served super quick. Our waitress was the problem. We brought our 20 month old daughter with us thinking they would have more than one low table for easy high chair access. When we arrived it was taken by a group so we decided to sit at the bar and just hold her on our lap. We got our food, and the group occupying the table finished and left. I politely asked our waitress if someone could clean it off whenever they got the chance so it would be easier to seat our toddler and feed her. She gave me the most annoyed look and rolled her eyes. My husband then caught her talking about us to one of the cooks, and when she saw him looking at her all she said was “oops.”
I will definitely love to eat there again, but I think if I see this woman working I will just order to go next time.

At first glance, the place felt a bit intimidating—the outside looks a little rough, and the background music didn’t quite match the Japanese vibe. But wow, the moment we took our first bite, we knew we had picked the right spot. The flavors were bold, unexpected, and unforgettable. You can tell the chefs have put serious thought and effort into crafting these dishes.
Butter in ramen? Sounds crazy, but somehow it works so well. It really makes you wonder—how do these ingredients come together to taste this good? If you’re an adventurous ramen eater, especially a fan of unusual but perfected flavor combos, this is a must-try.

Mediocre ramen and bao bun, but the service ultimate worst ever, super moody and super slow i asked 2 times to make sure there is nothing spicy, she assured me not to worry, guess what, spiciest food ever, cant even finish it, got acid reflux right away. And the reason to take it to go, because what restaurant doesn't have A/C??? Of course, in Tochi Ramen, where in 2025, they have no A/C in July! Just terrible terrible place!!!

What can I say that every other review hasn't said. When I go there, I try to go during Thursdays at the lunch part. Not only do you avoid the crowds, it feels like the place is catering towards just you. When I say that, I mean everything from the godzilla swag hanging around to the MXC on TV, or black and white samurai movies, or speed racer. Yacht rock playing, awesome Japanese music playing, everything was perfect.

I have reviewed this place several times but for some reason they keep getting removed (not a good look). A quick summary of my thoughts, the food is good but not good enough to offset the poor service and by poor service I am referring to one woman in particular that often works there and ruins the experience. Refuses to split checks, constantly looks flustered and frustrated when the restaurant itself is quite small only accommodating 20ish people at a time if that. She is short with customers and often rude and for that reason I haven't been back in a while and I have stopped bringing groups entirely due to the lack of seating and the refusal to split bills. It really is a shame because the food is quite tasty but not worth the hassle.

Pretty underwhelming for a place that is constantly hyped up. The broth was good, noodles are okay. My bowl had some kind of topping that I swear was just burnt scrapings. Atmosphere is loud, and the aesthetic is confused. If it was less pricy I would get something to go in the future.

Update: After having a nice conversation with one of the owners, it was determined to be a mistake on the Managers part, and I was refunded. The refund was a very nice, but unnecessary gesture. I am thankful the issue was found and resolved.
While the food is excellent, watch your bill. My wife and I went in to grab TAKE OUT, and the Manager Lucy took it upon herself to put an 18% gratuity on my $54 bill. I noticed it as I was writing in my own tip! I crossed off my tip and kept quiet instead of calling her out in front of other customers.
Overall, it is a very nice place and the food was fantastic. We will go back again, only this time I'll be watching my bill if Lucy is on the prowl!

Went here on a date night. It was my first time here.
It was pretty busy that night, which is a good sign the food is good.
It is a really small place though. It felt cramped. I love the design of having Japanese items such as Godzilla and all above the counter and watching the chef do its magic with the preparing of the ramen.
We sat right at the corner by the counter so service was always there.
We had the pork steam bun, cukes and brat dumping for appetizers. These were all tasty.
We had the tonkotsu and the tochi ramen for our dinner.
The pork is perfectly boiled. The ingredients were good, but I think the broth is missing something as it was kind of plain. The noodle may have needed maybe 30 more seconds to soften up as mine was a bit hard yet.
The ramens were pricey. I think ramen should still be in the low teens for pricing.
One thing I heard while sitting by the counter, to get a seat by the tables when you walk in, you need to call and reserve it as there’s only 3 tables.
Overall, it was a good experience to try this ramen place in Sheboygan.
Would I eat here again? Only if I’m really craving ramen, otherwise I can make my own at home for a cheaper price.

Hands down the best ramen north of Chicago! You must try the Tonkotsu ramen with its rich pork broth, and the Grass Fed Beef Mazeman. If you like spice, ask for their house hot sauce. Ramen is meant to be savory, rich, and salty. Tochi hits it right on!

As someone who has been to Japan multiple times and frequently visits Mitsuwa Marketplace in Illinois for authentic Japanese cuisine, this place does not disappoint! I love the Midwest vibe combined with the Japanese style and food. It is very hot inside, just like any ramen place. I absolutely love the Braised Beef Udon and the spicy miso deviled eggs. It’s so fresh and flavorful. It is a narrow spaces with limited seating so I like to get there early to grab a seat at the bar or make reservations. Even when I didn’t do either, I’ve never had to wait that long.

This ramen place serves one of the best bowls of noodles in town, hands down. The rich, flavorful broth and perfectly cooked noodles make it a must-visit for any ramen enthusiast. However, don't expect the greatest service—the staff can get overwhelmed and occasionally hot-headed due to the constant rush. The space is very limited, often feeling claustrophobic. Despite these drawbacks, the experience is unique, reminiscent of the ramen shops in Naruto, minus the crowd. If you're up for an authentic, bustling ramen experience, this spot is worth a visit.

We have heard a lot of good things about Tochi, but it was not the closest ramen to us 😅, so we had to try it when in the area!

Extremely rude 1st and last experience.....walked in with my family and didn't know we needed reservations or anything of that nature since we are new in town still....so we decided to just eat somewhere else and upon walking out one of the cooks literally said "yeah you have fun with that choice"........super unprofessional and super rude.....never in my 39 years of living had I ever experienced something like that let alone with my family!! It sucked because my kids wanted to try the place out and they was upset upon leaving the fact that the cook said that to us.....it only takes 1 bad experience like this for me to avoid and place like this.....kame ramen is our go to spot!! Check THEM out before ever stepping foot Into THIS horrible customer service place!!

When we arrived they told us they gave our seats to away as they had people waiting. Why did they take our number to only give our seats an away?

DELICIOUS authentic Sun brand noodles from Honolulu. Excellent, fresh dishes & the service is humorously entertaining. Perfect setting to be yourself and kick back. If you can’t appreciate excellent food and quirky service, or if you’re easily offended, then go to the smelly empty ‘Chinese/Japanese’ restaurants down the street. Tochi attracts an eclectic, tattooed, artsy-fartsy, biker, & pride-friendly clientele, only. Social misfits welcomed.

Pick up ramen for takeout. Ordering over the phone was an odd experience. Guy was very abrupt. The ramen itself was okay. My husband is Japanese and was unimpressed. My Butter Corn ramen was unconventional. Tasted like the inside of a burrito which was not what I was hoping for. The pork chashu was also tough/very over cooked.
The thing that makes me really not want to come back was the general vibe of the place. As I was just there to pick up, it was brief but weird enough to be memorable. Cashier was unfriendly from the get-go. Also seemed like there was some tension between staff and the people dining in. One customer volunteered to punch another for one of the workers. Judging from other reviews, I guess it would be a good place to go for some social drama. But we won’t be back.

Nothing bad to say about the food ever. The owner and staff make dining in extremely uncomfortable and weird. The owner is very short and rude when he's expecting his cigarette break, he makes you feel very guilty even for coming in. Staff only seems to be polite to regulars. Can't go with more than 2 people because you will nearly always be seated at the bar even if you have reservations, and you won't be able to lean over to talk to your friends because the music is loud. Never had even one thing to complain about back in West Bend, the owner(s) need to take a step back from the business because you can see the exasperation on their faces and they don't attempt to hide their bitterness when they have to seat new customers. They seem very tired and need some time off, the woman with glasses practically lives there. I have spoken to a local artist and a hair stylist because they asked what my plans were after, Tochi of course! They BOTH said they will never return because the owner is such a jerk. Every dinner ends leaving with bad nerves. I have had to beg my partner to return to the establishment with me on the days I want a bowl of good hot ramen, because they can no longer take the negativity of the staff and their gloomy outlook.
After waiting for them to stabilize after opening their location in Sheboygan, it's apparent their bad attitude is here to stay and I can no longer request my friends to join me and have learned to make their ramens myself at home so we can all enjoy it in peace.
Please for the sake of your customers and the love you all have for this place, take a break.

Update to the owners response: Kinda annoyed that an apology isn't even offered. This is my most upvoted review and obviously resonates and tracks if you read other's reviews. Look at the common themes. It's not good. You insulted me and my wife and cussed us out of that place. Tochi is the only place I've ever been that has good food that I will never go back because of the staff - or at least as long as the dude in the picture still works there. If you think I'm an avid liar, go read my 200+ reviews and see if I'm out to get other businesses.
Can't believe this racist place is still open. Avoid the guy in the photo at all costs or he may cuss you out of the restaurant after making crazy racist remarks and insulting your wife.
This is the most deserving one star experience I've ever given. The Ramen was good - that's the end of the good.
The staff seemed pretty overworked and tired. We waited for probably 30 minutes before getting a menu. I asked for silverware after they gave us our food because they forgot to give us silverware. The bathrooms were below gas station quality. The music was loud and obnoxious.
Now let's talk about the owner. He was extremely racist making comments to the two guys next to us asking how an Asian and a black guy can be together without the black guy beating up the Asian. He then continued to chat with them and explained how that's happening and it's funny. He wasn't really with it and couldn't remember where orders went and also was very edgy. After we paid he came by and asked us how it was and I told him it was good. He then got extremely mad began to cuss me out and insult me and my wife and was demanding that we say his Ramen is great instead of good. After taking his personal insults for a little bit, the only thing I could do was get up and walk away with my wife.
I feel bad for the staff and if any of the staff are reading this, I would really urge you to quit and work anywhere else. An owner that racist and insecure is an unsafe environment.

I ate here 6 weeks ago and it was wonderful. Well, worth the reasonable price. Celebrated being cancer-free yesterday and the food was awful, and they tried to prepare it. The food was good! However, seating was extremely limited and we were unaware that reservations were encouraged. The entire time, our server kept reminding us that the table we were sitting at was reserved. We were feeling rushed throughout our meal. It was about 2 hours after we got there that the reservation would take place, but we did not intend on staying for that long. Lastly, there was one bill. We weren’t asked initially if it’d be together or separate, so we had asked to separate the items once we received the receipt. Our server had told us that’s not possible because it can only be split evenly, and she was only able to do that in the beginning when she had placed the order (though she hadn’t asked us). Overall, it felt like we were being pushed out of the door.

A coworker recommended this place. We drove an hour to check it out and pick up a gift card for the coworker. The food was good, and the price was reasonable. There are only 3 or 4 tables to sit at. Otherwise, there's a full-length bar to eat at as well. Was not aware that reservations were recommended, but we had about a 10 minute wait for a table. As a heads up, I paid the bill with cash, but I didn't receive my loose change back, so make sure you pay with a card since they don't really deal with cash. They also DO NOT have gift cards available.

This is one of the best ramen houses I've been to; amazing staff, the owner is a hoot. The long bar-style restaurant feels very Japanese, Godzilla movies, amazing.
And the food! I was delighted to find 'pork popcorn' in my tonkatsu, a fantastic condiment of pork baked in it's own fat to pure crunch. The 'brat dumplings' were a pure fusion of Japanese Ramen house food and Sheboygan culture. The addition of stone ground mustard to the broth was *chef's kiss*.

I hate that I love this place. This is by far the best ramen I’ve ever had which keeps me coming back. I come back begrudgingly however. First off, they’re open for 20 hours a week. I don’t know what it is about Sheboygan businesses being closed on Sundays and Mondays but it’s annoying. If you want ramen you can come here Tuesday-Saturday for four hours a day. When they are open, you can make a reservation but you’ll still probably wait for a table because they only have 5 tables. If you don’t have a reservation and you walk in, the lady who “greets” you seems annoyed that you’re there. This is the most accurate review on this place. They are lucky they have good food and they know it.

Food is good however the owner seems to be falling off the deep end. he asked if my friend and i wanted to pay separate or together and then began to go on a rant about how it charges him 5% each transaction so we should just pay together which even if we paid separate or together the fee would’ve been the same in the end for him. he clearly can’t do simple math…. made it totally awkward when he kept pressing us to pay together. he then began to offer us free drinks in exchange for us paying together which the cost of the drinks would’ve added up to the 5% charge too. this place used to be good and things seemed to completely switch up with the owners and atmosphere of the workers. sad to see

Funky, friendly and effing delicious! We showed up without a reservation and were told it would be a 20 - 25 minute wait. We killed some time, came back and were immediately seated at the bar. We were waited on quickly, started with the brat dumplings in a fabulous broth, the Tochi and Tokontsu Ramen accompanied by the very gregarious 😁 and knowledgeable Chef's suggestion, a delicious nigori sake. Everything was flavorful, fresh and served quickly on a very busy Friday night. Excellent experience all around! Sheboygan residents are fortunate to have this gem in their backyard.

The short version: bad noodles, prices that are far too high for the quality, and staff that would rather not be there and audibly tells patrons so. Run away.
The long version:
I haven't had a restaurant-quality bowl of ramen since I moved back to the area from Minneapolis, and I was sincerely hoping for a really good bowl of soup when I found this place.
It wasn't off to a great start when the server assumed that I was there with the person sitting next to me. I'd never met them in my life. She was polite to him I'm assuming because he was a regular, but she couldn't seem to offer that same courtesy to anyone who wasn't already there all of the time.
I ordered the cukes as an appetizer hoping for a nice spicy pickle based on the description, but what I received was diced cucumbers tossed in a spicy mayo. Not horrible, but not what I wanted and not what the menu described. I was asked what I wanted for a main before the cukes even arrived, which in retrospect should have been a red flag. With nothing on the menu to indicate what was popular and unwilling to trust the "regular" who wouldn't take the hint that I didn't want to talk to them, I ordered the shoyu ramen with chicken, hoping that a simple dish like that would fill me up without upsetting my stomach following an awful migraine day.
The noodles were over-cooked and of an unpleasantly gummy consistency by the time they arrived. The chicken was plopped into the bowl in large chunks that were unappetizing to look at and had terrible texture. The guy sitting next to me thought I had ordered something vegetarian, it looked so bland. The broth tasted of nothing but salt and in my opinion lacked any of the nuance a good soy sauce broth should offer. I could barely pick up the egg with my chopsticks, and I'm pretty good at picking up food with those. Even the water I had to drink tasted bad.
I came all the way to this restaurant because the recent reviews for the other ramen shop in the area were terrible, but this meal was so bad and so utterly disappointing that I had to go to the bathroom just so I could have a moment to cry out of view from staff and other patrons. $20 just to be disappointed to the point of tears. That was the last of my money before my first paycheck from my new job comes through, and I regret spending it here.

Tochi is absolutely amazing! They have tonkotsu ramen that tastes the very closest to what I ate when I travelled to Tokyo that I've been able to find in the states so far. It's a drive for us to get there but we love bringing our friends anytime we have the opportunity. Service and atmosphere couldn't be better either!

The food was fantastic. However, check your bill closely. I was charged an extra 9.50, and neither the owner nor the server could identify why. The final excuse was 2 Japanese drinks totaled 9.50 due to and I qoute " it must be a 50% soda tax or something". Not a very trustworthy business if they lie to and rip off customers for a few extra bucks. Watch your bill closely.

Actual ramen and other food- five stars, PERFECTION.
Service and restaurant overall- questionable, just an odd experience??
To preface, this last Friday was our first visit to the new Sheboygan location. My husband and were long time fans of the Tochi in West Bend (we live in fond du lac) and we were so excited to finally get a reservation and crush that ramen craving that no other ramen place can top.
Our reservation was for 6:45 for our group of four. We arrived a few minutes before that, and were told they were running behind, so it would be a bit of a wait. I don’t mind a small wait, the problem is that the restaurant is much smaller than the old location, and aside from the one bench to sit at, which was occupied at the time, there is nowhere else to really sit while you wait. It was cold out, so we kinda had to just awkwardly stand in the entry way and loom over the table of 4 that was finishing up who we would take the place of.
Finally, the table leaves, we sit down. My husband and I have been dreaming about this meal for a while, so we already knew what we’re ordering. I wanted what I always got at the west bend restaurant- Tochi Ramen, with add-ons of an extra miso egg and chicken. The new menu didn’t say that the crispy pork was included in the Tochi ramen, so I wanted to add that too.
The waitress asked for my order, and I was READY! I said I wanted that extra miso egg, to which she said they were running low, so she couldn’t do that. Okay. So I asked if I could get another of the of the other egg that was in the add-on portion of the menu, to which she said, “really, I think the Tochi ramen by itself if quite a bit by itself already!” No girl, I want my egg. Lol. I also asked to add the pork schnibbs, and she said they were running low on that, too. Okay. I asked if I could add the chicken, and AGAIN, she said something to the matter of “I really think you don’t need that much”. GIRLLLL. I’ve been waiting two years for this ramen! Do not assume how much I can or cannot eat! I have gotten this EXACT order many times before at the old location. I know what I want and love!
I understand not offering substitutions to the original dishes, but these were all add-ons! I don’t think I’ve ever went to a restaurant where the server actively discouraged ordering more food.
The thing that did make me a little miffed, too, was that a party of three who arrived after us (without a reservation), and who was seated before us, got two orders of miso eggs as an appetizer(I’m pretty sure it was like 8 eggs in total). So…. They can have 8 freakin’ miso eggs but we can’t have any? I know, I know, they are just eggs, but… what?
This all being said, our ramen was phenomenal, and it was the exact same flavor that I remember from west bend. The pork steam buns that we had were incredible as always. I will sing the praises of the Tochi chefs forever.
Basically, the waitress just really rubbed me the wrong way. I came to look at reviews afterward because I wasn’t sure if it was just a one-off experience, but it seems like we aren’t the only ones that got weird vibes from her. One of the things I loved about the west bend location was that the servers were always super cool and provided excellent service.
I just wish I understood the approach of this new location. We will be back because the ramen and steam buns are THAT incredible, but I hope they get a better flow to the restaurant, and maybe a server who actually wants to serve and be nice and enthusiastic towards patrons.

Only gets the second star because the food still tasted good. Nothing like the old location in west bend. There is now a limited menu and high priced for what you get. There are only 3 tables and a long bar to sit at. Definitely not family friendly. They only had one kids plate. The table we sat at in the corner was cold because its right next to the door and everything was wet because of the hot air from cooking was condensing over everything. Very short staffed (the staff that was there was nice) . I wouldn't even call this a restaurant at this point just a bar that serves food. Why they would go to a new location and downgrade their experience is beyond me. Just disappointing.

If I could give it 0 stars, I certainly would. Called to place an order, but I wasn’t sure of the prices, the guy who answered the phone was extremely RUDE. All I was asking was for the prices and he said “ We are too busy to take your order and hung up” I wasn’t even asking for that!!!! I work in customer service, and he definitely could have said it in a nicer way, and not hang up. These people take advantage because they are the only Ramen place in Sheboygan, and West Bend. 1st impression customer service: ”0” Reviews on here say the food is good, and I have not doubt about that, but customer service experience really counts for me.

First time here and we left satisfied and looking forward to our next visit.
We did go a little earlier on a Friday, got to the restaurant about 4:30pm. We were seated right away but in an hour when we left there was a line. They are limited on space but this is worth the wait.
We both had the grass fed beef mazeman ramen and it was wonderful. Lots of flavor and a wonderful aroma. This will ruin any instant ramen for you, it has for me. Now I want to learn to make this at home just because of the drive.
Update for new location:
Still top quality. Made my wife’s and my day. Great atmosphere and excellent food.
Will always come back here when in the neighborhood!
I also had the Nikki Taketsuru Pure Malt whiskey straight up and throughly enjoyed it throughout the meal. (I’m not a whisky snob but it was smooth to me and left a nice finish...made me want a cigar to match it).
Please keep up the great work!

I would give zero stars if I could. When we came in with a large group, we were rudely informed that they do not do separate checks followed by a “thank you… you have Venmo don’t you?” Didn’t plan for this large of a cc charge but K… We even told them prior to placing the order that we would pay separately to avoid confusion. Additionally, don’t even think about asking for the big table !!!! If you get anything chicken, seems canned!

The tonkotsu ramen is fine as long as you aren’t expecting it to be authentically Japanese. The “cukes” on the other hand is pretty bad. Basically a mix of pickles and cucumbers covered in spicy mayonnaise, like what you would find on a burger or sandwich.

The food is always on point.
The bun appetizers are always perfection. Seriously. The fillings are delicious, but the buns themselves are what really stand out because they are always freshly warm and soft like clouds of a sunset. At other restaurants, I've had buns that are too dense, too sticky, or even crumbly, but these were soooo yummy! I could legitimately put away 10 of these by themselves.
The ramen is savory and filling. You can tell each bowl is made with great care and precision. The broth isn't too salty or too oily. A healthy explosion of umami. I dont feel guilty sipping the rest of the broth after I finish everything else. The toppings are also really good, with a nice mix of textures.
I thought about taking a picture of the food for this review and social media, but each time, I was compelled to immediately dig in and was rewarded every time. Don't blame staff for soggy noodles if you spend 5-10 minutes taking pictures and talking about how pretty it is. Just eat and enjoy!
This place is always busy, but in a good way. It has a cheerful, bustling atmosphere and you can tell the staff are always working hard. Understandably, things can get chaotic, but the two times I've been there, ordered drinks were forgotten and had to be reminded of, but this wasn't a big deal to me.
Honestly, ngl, I'm always skeptical when it comes to non-ethnic chefs taking on ethnic food, but Chef DesRosier put in the work with respect and warmth, which shines through each bite of these classic asian comfort dishes.
People first came here out of curiosity because hardly anything new ever comes to Sheboygan. It transitioned into the "Place to Be", trendy and diverting. I know Tochi used to be in West Bend, but I think Tochi has finally found a home here in Sheboygan because it has a taste that lasts and will be a place for regulars.

I don't leave reviews. But today I feel compelled to leave one. I am so disappointed. As most of anyone who follows or has known Tochi Ramen they came from west bend wi. They relocated to Sheboygan. As any one should expect, when locations change, so do other things. I understand and don't argue that at all for the record. But as some one who have Loved Tochi from Day one, this is now my last!
1. Reservation. Called at 11am to set reservation for 8. Said that will be fine. Asked if a couple of cards could split check in advance to accommodate if new location did not work that way. Said was absolutely fine.
2. Dinner. Our party arrived all at same time, table was ready and we sit down. Right off the bat we get told this is not West bend. ... ok... This woman waitess was rude to start. Did not let that get to us because it was a friends birthday. As we got done ordering appetizers, we have 2 people in our group that have food allergies. When the first one asked he was given quite a blow back of well this is not west bend... yes... we know... but we are asking in reguards to food because of allergies, not due to previous location. That was never brought up. And when the other person in our group asked questions she got the same push back. They are not west bend... again, yes... we know, again allergies questions. You could visibly see that our table was a major inconvenience for this waitress. She even had to make a statement that she drives to the Sheboygan location from West Bend. She was simply rude the rest of our visit. She seemed to be the only one serving so to ask for someone different is a joke.
3. Payment. As per the phone conversation, when paying for a over 230.00 bill only 2 people wanted to split the bill. At first the waitress stated this was not an option. With a major rude attitude and looking very upset she seems she wanted to get us out and just did as we asked.
4. Over all. Customer service was a complete joke. The food. Complements to the chef and kitchen. Though there was some changes, AND THATS OK we wish we would be back. For us the customer service was the deal breaker.

Made a reservation and from the instant we walked in, the woman who greeted us was very snippy. When she came to our table, we followed the procedure on the bottom of the menu and alerted her to an allergy at our table. She berated us for not mentioning this when we made our reservation because she didn’t have time to answer questions about the menu when she’s busy. Certainly wouldn’t recommend this place if you’ve got any sort of dietary issues.

This is my third time trying to understand Tochi, and I’ll tell you, I’m done. If it’s not important enough to you as a business, it’s not important to me as a customer. I got there and was not greeted, there is no space to wait it’s very uncomfortable. After standing by the “please sign in” sign with no further instructions, I was finally noticed by the hostess. She gave me attitude about signing in, and because I asked for a wait time. They did not asked for a number, so I am not sure if I’m just supposed to wait outside in the cold. All I have heard before was good things, and am very tired of being treated like a peasant. The hostess is rude and makes everything seem like a burden, hospitality is a lost art and it’s a shame. I’d give you zero stars if I could.
