Just picked them from the internet-glad we did. What a quaint little local place. Fabulous service-bartender (I think her name was Nikki) was very nice and attentive-my husband even got a free beer for Father’s Day, as did all the men. What a nice touch! You could tell it was a local place and she was fully aware of what everyone drinks! Pizza was awesome! Hot and lots of sauce-which is what I like. Lots of cheese as well. Great service! Great food! Great choice!

I've driven past this place for years on end and never stopped in. Thanks to Karley Davidson being booked for her outstanding live music, my girlfriend and I drove about an hour to go check it out, and we were not disappointed in the slightest. I had the reuben sandwich with tots, which was good. However, my gf ordered the mac and cheese with pulled pork, and THIS, MY FRIENDS, IS WORTH THE VISIT ALONE!! You know those dishes you'll have every now and then where you take a bite and simply shake your head in disbelief that something is so insanely tasty with EVERY single bite? Like, you never get used to how good it is? That's what this mac and cheese did to me. Served in a small cast iron skillet, it doesn't look like much at first glance, but you're in for an absolute treat. I will go back for this alone. They make it with 3 cheeses and it is as creamy as you could ever ask for, with the flavors of the heavens. Never thought I'd get so excited about mac and cheese!! The world must know!! You're welcome!! Lol. The atmosphere is very Northwoods dive bar, but way more fun-divey than dirty-divey. Also, Karley Davidson was outstanding. Solo loop artist with a fantastic voice and incredible guitar skills. Seek her out as well!!

I’ve been to this place a number of times alone. My kids have been bugging me to come since we live right down the road from it . My mom lived in the house I own when she was a kid and she shared with them stories on how her dad took her there all the time to get ice cream. So they stayed with the impression that they were getting ice cream regardless how many times I told them otherwise . I was hesitant because I’ve never seen kids there, little did I know they were happy and occupied 99% of the time , they had a whole cabinet filled with puzzles, coloring books, and cards. They had the kids cheeseburgers, the kids enjoyed the flavor, were kind of small (like smaller than the ones you’d get from mcds) which was perfect for my small kid but my big kid said I should have ordered her two. I had the build your own wrap and it was good. It was a nice experience. Theresa was our server and she was friendly and attentive.

Had lunch with my good friend. Ate in dining room. Friendly male bartender greeted us. "T" is an excellent server. Very attentive, when asked did make some suggestions regarding the menu items which was really helpful. Alcohol drinks were good to our liking. Ordered a burger after seeing reviews raving about it. That was a mistake, burger was so bland. I'm not sure if it's a different cook or what but how hard is it to throw some seasoning salt or Mccormicks in the burger grind. You want a good burger just go to culvers down the road. This perfect hole in a wall, dive bar, comfy, cozy place is nestled right between two small towns on the side of a country road surrounded by the north woods of Wisconsin. Marina was a beautiful, quick witted, joy of a bartender. If you’re passing by, I highly recommend stopping in for a burger and a beer. You won’t regret it.

Friday fish fry was nothing to brag about. Fish tasted like it sat under a heat lamp for an hour. Best part of the meal was a round ball of fried bread. Coleslaw wasn't good ... Fish wasn't good and tater tots tasted like they had freezer burn. Not worth going back for the fish. I saw some pizzas walk by me. They did look good. Wish I would have tried that.

First we ordered take out they said would be ready in 45 minutes that wasn’t ready for 90 minutes. They forgot a bunch of stuff and charge a to go fee. Never saw one place in my life charge a to go fee. Today tried to order because it’s the only place in town open and they wouldn’t take our order because they closed in an hour. At 7pm. Never saw a dinner restaurant close that early. Don’t waste your time trying to give them your money.

The place was packed and we kind of expected more of a supper club feel. Inside wasn't more than a bar with overflow seating. Table was not stable nor were the chairs comfortable, but the food was really good. I have never had deep fried shrimp that was presented more like broiled, and they were good sized shrimp! The coleslaw was fabulous! The wait staff were all attentive, friendly, and efficient.

If you're looking for an upscale or supper club experience, this isn't it. But if you want good food at fair price served to you with a friendly smile, give them a chance.
