OMG! i just came from Toya's Kitchen. I gotten the 2pc Catfish fillet 5pc whole wings nd spaghetti 🍝 😋! This wassss 🔥🔥🔥!!! I still have food left ovee. Filets are huge! Fried hard didnt have to ask. 5pc whole wings i added garlic parmesean nd full of flavor. I dont usually order spaghetti outside of my own. Let me tell you that Spaghetti was on point! Try her out u will not b disappointed. Nd the price is very very reasonable! Thank you Toya! Nd the staff very welcoming nd the atmosphere is clean nd comfortable.

I had the chicken and waffles and my boyfriend got the catfish fillet with spaghetti. I must say that everything was delicious! The only thing is I wish the Mac had just a little bit more seasoning to it. Overall I highly recommend

Wow, your catfish dinner was incredibly good, I loved it! I just finished eating, and I have to say, it was a solid 10/10. I do have a small recommendation that I think would improve the experience even more: could you possibly package the hot sauce and coleslaw on the side, outside of the main dinner container? The fish was so hot and fresh (which is fantastic!), but it warmed up the coleslaw and melted the plastic of its container. Just a thought for future orders! Thanks again for such a delicious meal.

First time going and the cashier which is who they had as their first point of greeting sucked at it. She frown the whole time bmdidnt greet and looked like she had an attitude the whole time thats not good for business I just hope it wasn't her family. Now her mama on the other hand was very welcome, polite, and even shared her birthday cake with everybody in the restaurant at the time her greeting was so much better and authentic. Now on to the food the coleslaw was good, the fish was fried good and good consistency just too salty for me, and the spaghetti was different and went to waste because nobody i tried to give it to wanted them I should have just gotten the fries. overall I will give them a three but I hope the cashier was just having an bad day cause you never know whose going to walk through the doors and her demeanor is bad for business,but Happy Birthday again to the owner mama she's rocked and made my experience better thank you.

Sometimes you got to pop out and see for yourself! Fish was BOMB!! Seasoned to perfection, and it was crispy! The spaghetti had a different flavor I’ve never tasted in spaghetti, but it was so good!!! My husband really enjoyed the buffalo ranch chicken fries. We will be back!!

I had the 2pc fish and chicken dinner. It had plenty of fries and was fresh and hot! Included one ea. hot sauce, lemon slice, coleslaw and tarter sauce. 2 slices of white bread. Seasoned perfectly, catfish was crunchy outside well cooked and flaky just the way I like inside. The chicken was fried hard the way I like as well and juicy inside. If you don't like your chicken fried hard you may have to tell them, because I didn't request it fried hard. The restaurant was clean and maybe a 7-10min wait, perfectly acceptable for freshly fried food. The African American lady served me and was professional with a smile. Well worth the $22. Purchased... Saturday, 3/22/2025 around 4:30pm.

I ordered a 2pc catfish fillet and a cheese burger I specifically asked for no pickles on the burgers there were pickles on the burger and when I got my catfish meal with the spaghetti the spaghetti was cold! And they only gave out 1 container of tartar sauce! Allred several times to complain and no one answered! No happy at all being that I’m pregnant and I drove across town for this food!

Don't know why this place has a 3.7 out of 5 stars, so I thought I'd give it some love. I was just driving past here and thought I'd give it a shot! While the check out people weren't friendly, they also weren't mean either. They were just kinda there, which is fine. I got a catfish po boy, and while it took a while to come out, it came out hot and fresh! So I know they were making it fresh for me, so I'm ok with a bit of a wait, and you should be to. The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh, and the bun it was on was soft and delicious! The catfish could have had a bit more seasoning on it, but it wasn't too salty and still tasted great! It a pretty big, even though thin, piece of fish. All together, it tasted fantastic and felt it was a great deal for $10. You also got fries with it, with were pretty basic, but still a nice inclusion for that price. I'd definitely like to come by again for some more catfish and spaghetti. Place was also very clean and comfortable. Keep up the good work!

Went for the first time. It's a very clean restaurant and the workers were very polite. All of the food was good and the catfish was cooked perfectly and tasted good. Cole slaw and hot sauce came with both. The chocolate cake was moist - the only thing, with it being such a big slice, I would have liked a bit more frosting, but that's my personal preference, I would definitely get it again and it's enough to share. We will be back to try other things on the menu. Everything was cooked fresh and the wait was not long.

went to Toya's on February 28, 2025 on my lunch break waited twenty five minutes for my food only for me to leave there and realize i received fries instead of spagetti... i didn't even have enough time to finish my lunch that costed $22 and ended up throwing the rest away... i called the establishment @ 12 :38p and to a no avail, they didn't answer... i couldn't go back because I worked late and she was close by that time... went back on March 6, 2025 showed cashier then Toya the receipt, the picture of the food but i failed to show her or mention the phone call.... She then says what you want me to do. I said a discount or something. She was looking confused or like she didn't want to do anything. so i just said, forget it... she shrugs her shoulders and say okay with an attitude then it walks off... i started to walk out then, but i just went on and paid for my new order... No apology was ever granted from her or the cashier, who i explained the problem to 1st... it's crazy because i don't even know this lady, never had her food but was happy for her and prayed that she do well but the customer is no longer right anymore anywhere it seems.

I was really excited to try the food all to be disappointed. I ordered $90 worth of food and the only thing that was good was the catfish. I paid extra to have my wings tossed in the sauce and got home to the sauce being on the side for both dinners. The garlic parm sauce tasted horrible. The Pork chop bits was so tough and cut in huge chunks. The Shimp was ok, however I could've made them at home, the chicken was not good and could've been fried harder. The coleslaw tasted like paper with no flavor, I could've doctored it up but for $90 it need to be seasoned already. The catfish was the only good item on my plate. I ordered for my husband the same items and he was also highly disappointed especially for the money spent. I would like to continue to support this black establishment. However the prices do not match the experience of the food. If we do return it would likely just be for the Fish only.

Came I. Today I ordered (2) 4 piece perch dinners and a catfish po boy spent about $50 just to not be able to enjoy my food. The Poboy and French fries was great but the perch for both dinners had a very very very sour taste to them to the point where it was uneatable money down the drain I literally had to trash it I called got no answer that’s the only reason why I did a review I wish I could have gotten things settled with the restaurant not even a refund but maybe a different menu item

Sooo I tried this place out because I saw a TikTok video from someone trying out the food, I would definitely return, my fish was fried perfect and taste great, my daughter had the wings and she said they were really good (Buffalo lemon pepper) Now my spaghetti was a bit too sweet for my liking but still good. The service from the back A1 friendly happy but the Front end needs some work. Overall it was a good experience.

Honestly THIS IS PLACE GET A 2 out of 5 (but I think still in the learning phase)
Bad part
- I order a 3 piece chicken/ w fries (it took 34 minutes exactly if you divide that mean it took over 10 min per chicken)
- chicken not season at all. Nasty
-the fries is basic.
- to get your wings Toss in sauce it’s EXTRA $2.10… guess what sauce is Sweet Baby Rays

Good part
- the food is fresh
-They Brand New can’t get have everything down pack.
- they having a learning curve and I can see. Also possible short staff. The owner in the back working kinks outs. Honestly the owner and the guy in the back cross over too much it need to be positions and assembly line. If the person there let them do it. OWNER YOU CANT DO EVERYTHING YOURSELF AND FAST PACE.
