A good place to stop for an ice cream treat in Spooner. We use the drive-thru most often. Service is not the fastest but we always enjoy what we order. Prices are less than what a trip to popular ice cream chain restaurants would be, so this is a good place to have quality ice cream at reasonable cost.

We received a free banana split coupon. Stopped to use it right away and employee said he didn’t know how to do it, so I ordered a malt. Stopped there several times since, but not in the mood for a banana split. Food is decent and we like supporting local. Came back today to use the coupon and was told they aren’t accepting it any more. No expiration date on the coupon - picture of the coupon still being used on Banana Abstracts website. Couple dollar loss for the free banana split would have paid for itself time and again.

I ordered a double cheeseburger meal with fries and a medium root beer, a cheeseburger and a pup cup from the drive through while out on a Sunday drive. I drove up, paid and waited at the window. A few minutes later a young man handed me two burgers and closed the window. I tapped and asked where my drink and fries were. He went to the register, came back and said “Sorry I didn’t charge you for that but I can if you’d like them.” I said sure and he tried to charge me menu price for each item. I said no, I asked for a value meal. Charge me the difference in price between what I paid and the combo price. When this was too much for him I asked to speak with the manager. He replied she’s not here. That was it. And after all that the buns were stale. Horrible experience.

Traveling through town and wanted to get something different than the usual old McDs when traveling. It's usually easy to order, kids don't fight, and you know what to expect. However getting a little tired of it, and the last few times we have done curbside in smaller towns, we have had to go in to get the food, and it isn't very fresh. I know Treat Depot had a few up and down reviews, but it had a drive thru, so that helped. Kids were not thrilled about it.

It didn't look like they had a kids menu, so did a couple chicken tender meals and corn dog for the kids after arguing about it, curds, and burgers. We did have to wait off to the side for the food, which gave us a chance to use the restrooms. I was surprised at how small it was inside, which impressed me even more with all of their food options. I was getting a bit worried while waiting for the food that this would be one that would backfire on me, and I'd never be allowed to audible a traveling lunch again.

However, the food showed up, smaller bags than expected, but it was all there and very hot. Tenders and were steaming still as well as burgers. The curds were pretty good. Corn dog was dark, but my daughter said it was pretty good- it looked like a fresh dipped corn dog with the rough batter on the outside, didn't look like a frozen one from a store at all. The chicken tenders were very generous size wise, kids could not finish them. The burger also was a pleasant surprise with the works and some noticable seasoning. My wife even commented that that was a pretty good burger.

Only downsides were the fries, they were a bit soggy but were of the 'fresh cut' variety. If they were cooked a bit more so had a little crisp, they'd pretty darn good. And the drinks were smaller than what you get elsewhere cup size. However, for the kids, that's probably fine, less sugar for them. The service was a bit slow, but I was expecting that after seeing how big the shop was. Didn't get a chance to try any ice cream, regrettably. However, I'd say this place was a pretty solid 4.5 stars a nice change of pace from standard fast food places.

A friend ordered a corn dog and he said he thought it was microwaved (battered in house and probably frozen) fries were soggy and lacked salt. I think it's more of an "ice cream" kinda place.

Thought we’d stop for a nice little lunch for my Birthday. All the tables were dirty and sticky we decided to choose the one with just salt on the table. I ordered a foot long chili cheese hot dog but they brought out a normal one.. when I went back to the counter the older lady had a really nasty attitude and I was polite and for some reason I was apologizing. Then my sons burger had no ketchup and mustard on it . She asked when I ordered it what I wanted on the burger I said ketchup and mustard. So then I had to feel like a jerk again to ask for ketchup and mustard . Once again the older lady with grey hair just stared me down as she handed me packets. My biggest complaint would be that there’s no napkins on the tables or anywhere or ketchup or salt and pepper. You have to ask for it. For someone who has no problem running a concession stand by myself . I’ve not once been rude to any person. Our baseball food is better then this place and faster service. And we real in a few grand a game so I’m on my feet by myself for 5 hours getting bombarded with people and not once was I even rude to the rude customers. I will never go back. The only thing good I can say was my chili dog was good. But I shouldn’t have to feel bad for them messing up my order.
Can’t wait to hear her reply. ☺️ I did nothing wrong it was all this place.

The food here is fantastic. Wide variety of ice cream treats, the best burgers in the area and a surprisingly great fish fry on Fridays. Staff is young and hardworking. They do an incredible job of keeping up with the made to order nature of this place while dealing with both a dining room and drive-through. Nowhere better to stop in Spooner.

I don’t eat here on a regular basis but decided to stop in today and grab something to eat for lunch. The older lady had taken my order and right off the bat had raised her voice at me because i asked for a double burger and SHE had clicked the wrong button but somehow that was my fault. We moved along from that and I had simply asked, “do you know what kind of sauce generally comes on a California burger?” and she looked at me and responded with “whatever sauce you want on it” with the rudest tone. After I had responded to that she had rolled her eyes and asked if I wanted anything else. I don’t believe this is the way to treat people who are fueling you to keep your business open. I enjoy the food but the customer service from ONE specific employee is beyond me. This isn’t the first encounter Ive had with her horrible mouth, but it’s beyond me that a staff here thinks it’s okay to give people 0 respect. Treat your customers better!

We ordered cheese burger combo, BLT combo, side of onion rings and cheese curds.
Burger had cheese that seemed fake coming from a jar. BLT was on butter soaked texas toast, little bacon, little lettuce and one slice of tomato for two halves of blt. Fries came borderline soggie. They should have been kept in the fryer longer. Orings were ok, they were done but greasy. Cheese curds were not kept in fryer long enough and were soggie and grease soaked. The positive was the burger had meat you could see and taste and it came with fresh red sliced onion. Lemonaid was good. We likely wont try them again.

Wow, the way my parents were treated at your establishment is absolutely appalling. They have been regular and loyal customers for YEARS and were so happy to see you re-open for the season. YOU made a mistake and on their order and they asked for you to make it right and in return they are told they are banned from the establishment and to never come back?!?!? I love supporting small local restaurants, so we stopped here for a bite to eat. They have 2 signs indicating they're open, so after I worked to get my truck, camper and trailer into the parking lot, we walked up to the door only to be rudely greeted by an employee cleaning the dining room, shocked that the door wasn't locked. I pointed to my truck and convinced them there was no way I was fitting though their drive-through, and asked if we could order and eat in our truck. The employee seemed to think we should simply walk through the drive through. Ummm no, how is that less work than allowing a to-go order at the counter? We're enjoying food at the restaurant across the street. I get being short staffed, but other restaurants can figure it out, why can't you?

I almost gave this 5 stars because the food was excellent and the staff were very polite & friendly. The only complaint I have is that I ordered ranch with my cheese curds and did not receive it.
