Placed a pickup order, one of the wraps didn’t have chicken even though that was not asked for, asked for extra sauce that was also paid for and not given, tortillas are not wrapped well at all. When I tried to call they hung up on me and didn’t answer my call even though I tried numerous times. Would not recommend.

I usually love this place, but I visited about a week ago and they gave me a few coupons to compensate for them being out of some important ingredients for one of my orders. This is the worst smoothie I have received today it tastes like water and the smoothie didn't look like a smoothie it looks like a slushy they didn't blend it up good. As you can see in the picture the left one which is the BLUEBERRY BLISS you see it looks short of smoothie they both looks like slushy. Ugh, this is the second time I have ordered a chia banana boost smoothie from the McKee Rd location and both times it tasted like green, unripe bananas. Unfortunately today, it tastes like a combination of unripe bananas and water. This is my favorite smoothie and at other locations, it tastes outstanding. I can't even drink this one I ordered today on 6/7/25 its so gross, so there goes $9 in the trash. A smoothie place should be able to execute tasteful and consistent smoothies, this location has fallen way short on 2 occasions. I will go to other locations going forward, even though this location is closest to me.

I don’t normally like to write poor reviews, but I didn’t have a great experience yesterday when I visited this location. I ordered one smoothie and there was only one person who ordered in front of me. After I ordered, the employee put the ingredients in the blender but did not continue finishing the drink because after every time a new person came in, she started on their’s instead and wasn’t finishing anyone’s. After 15 minutes, a new employee came in and gave me my smoothie. The person who was ahead of me still didn’t have any of their food. When I got to the car and tried it, it had still not been fully blended so it was really clumpy. I was pretty disappointed since it cost $8 and was bad enough I could not finish it. I would recommend going to the University Avenue location instead.

Genuine question, are yall instructed to cut the quesadillas as if you gave it to a two year old with a plastic knife from a toy set? Mine was practically cut horizontally and then one tiny edge was also cut, with Neither of them being cut even through the cheese let alone both layers of tortilla. This is pathetic. Do better.

Ordered for pick up online. Line was out the door and they had one person staffed. Online orders were being ignored and they just kept taking new orders without making anything. I had to wait for a half hour over the estimated time before Uber would let me cancel my order. This place clearly has a management issue. If you order for pickup here you’re taking a gamble at actually receiving anything.

Terrible service. I ordered a curbside and waited 10 minutes when I arrived, then called them and asked them to bring it out. They said it was ready and they would bring it out in a couple minutes. I waited for 10 more minutes and eventually just decided to go in and grab it. The worker at the counter told me that they don’t really bring out curbside orders. I called them to ask, and they said if they are busy they don’t bring them out. I wish they had just told me that when I first called instead of lying and making me wait. Now my smoothies are melted :(

I normally don't leave reviews for restaurants, but this place earned one. The manager Carl is a class act. My spouse got an injury at home the night before, and I was venting about it when I was placing my food/drink order. When I went to pay, Carl looked at the cashier and said "It's on the house, don't charge him." A week later, I come back in for a new order. Carl walked up to me, shook my hand, and asked how my spouse was doing. That's some class right there. Smoothies and food are always great of course, but this kind of class-act service doesn't happen much anymore. Very appreciative.

Since high school, Tropical Smoothie has been one of my absolute favorite places to grab a bite to eat. When I moved to the Madison area in 2020, I was SO upset to find that there were none in the area. In the last year or so, a few have popped up, and I'm thrilled about it! This is the location that I typically go to in the area simply because it's the most convenient for me, and it definitely ranks as one of my favorite Tropical Smoothies that I've been to! I typically order ahead, and they always have my order ready well before I get there. They always get their ratios right in their smoothies (which I can't say has always been my experience with other locations!) and they distribute ingredients inside of their flatbreads so that you get all of the flavors in every bite (again, not something I always get!). The staff is very friendly; a friend of mine stopped in to pick up some smoothies, tripped, and spilled the smoothies all over the floor. The staff was so understanding and comforted her so much, assuring her that it wasn't a big deal and that it happens all the time, and then proceeded to remake the smoothies! So glad that one of my favorite restaurants has come to town, but even more glad that the staff does the restaurant justice.

Wow what a fun place...right when I walked in Sawyer greater me and seconds later Rebecca and Alize greeting me as well. Such a good vibe. I unfortunately have a few serious health conditions that make it difficult to find easy, accessible meals in chain suppliers. Not only does Tropical Smoothie Cafe have a multitude of options that are safe (and delicious!?) for me, within my restrictions, but the staff are always SO KIND and helpful. These people are so hardworking and kind despite the challenges they are made to face in the food service industry.

I have felt appreciated and seen every single time I’ve gone in (which is almost daily at this point hahaha) and each and every time I felt safe and comfortable enough to ask questions!

I went here on Saturday and my smoothie tasted like N O T H I N G. I even heard the boy making it ask the girl who rang my order up if he’d added “too much water” or whatever. When I tasted it and it tasted like legitimately nothing, I went to the register again and wanted it to be remade, and explained I order this SAME DRINK at the location near gammon road frequently, and also for years previous when I lived in a different state. First time customer- I stopped after a workout at Princeton Club and so glad I did! Love being able to mobile order as well as add protein/customize.
