Stopped in at Greendale location for "fundraiser" night for kid's school tonight. Placed our order around 6:50. There were 2 workers and we arrived with only 2 people in front of us. Waited 40 minutes, food and smoothies piled up on the counter. Finally at 7:45, three other workers showed up and we received our order. No sorry or coupons for free smoothies....NOTHING. Food was cold and smoothies were half melted. Very disappointed. Hopefully you learn to have more staff working on fundraiser nights from now on.

This location has to have the worst service in the area. Every-time we have gone here the service is terrible. This evening we stopped in to order three simple menu items. The individual working the register didn’t even say anything when I walked up. I was the only one in the store at the time of ordering and it took about 15 minutes to receive the food. After getting home we realized the order was wrong and I don’t think the person working the register listened to what I ordered. Save your money and avoid this location.

My last several orders have been awful. Two separate orders my smoothie was made wrong and today my hot food was cold - like straight out of the fridge cold. The young lady I asked to make me hot food was argumentative and rude. Her coworker was equally as helpful. Saying I picked up the food late, however, they literally handed it to us off the line. Thankfully her manager made it right but overall the service quality sucks.

I was told to leave a review, I must say while being in the lobby it was packed. I didn’t think I was going to get in and out fast enough but they made it happen. Shankayla, Quintonique and Maleek made it happen! Their communication was spot on. They were very vocal on what needed to be done and how many. If I could give no star, I would. This is my second time going to this location and they suck. Poor customer service and food were so sloppy! We waited 30 mins for a salad and 2 flatbreads. The two employees decided that it was more important to chat then serve customers so my husband kindly let them know he was still waiting on his order, the young lady responded with an attitude “I know!” And carried on with their conversation. Then when we got the food it was messy, looked more like a wrap than flatbread because of so. I will never again go back to this location.

I would appreciate a refund please. I ordered your Peanut Butter Paradise, it tasted like ice with chunks of banana, no taste of peanut butter. I let the cashier know and asked her for a refund. She denied a refund and offered me to try another smoothie. I asked for the Açaí Berry Boost, it was just as terrible. All you taste is Açaí. I was denied a refund again. I have been to other locations and I have never had to try any other smoothie because I always get the Peanut Butter Paradise and it tastes fine. I should of read the comments for this location prior because it makes sense now. I will not return to this specific location. I should not pay for a beverage I was not able to drink. On a late afternoon adventure they're GREAT!!! BUUUT i recommend not going during lunch time... the chicken pesto flatbread I got was made for the hunger games!!! There was very little chicken, the flatbread was burnt, cheese wasn't melted, and there was more pesto than anything! Again normally service is great, food is perfect- if they mess up they will fix it ASAP, and the atmosphere is clean but it's definitely not a vibe worth going out your way for during lunch hours... you'll go in hungry and come out hangrier!!!

I watched a nice girl order food to her dietary preference or need. Then watched the employee make petty comments to the manager including “when did we start serving plant based meat? Ewe that’s disgusting why would anyone ever order that”. All while the ordering girl was standing there waiting for her food. I had the Baja Chicken wrap and it was full of incredibly spicy hot sauce. The hot sauce was not mentioned on the menu and completely ruined my lunch.

The entire staff appeared to be under 18 with zero customer service skills. The girl working the register did not offer me side options with the sandwich, so I didn't know I could get one, and gave me a lot of attitude for no reason.

It is also very loud in the restaurant due to the constant blending, so you can't hear anything apart from blenders.

My sister husband and I came in today and my husband and I ordered a blimey limey with extra lime. I happen to remember my husband just found out hes allergic to pineapples (very recently so were still trying to remember that he is) which is one of the ingredients in the smoothie. I blurt out oh wait it has pineapples baby you cant drink that. I politely apologize multiple times for ordering it and ask them could they remake them without pineapples. Both girls at the counter rolled their eyes at me and the one making the drinks reply "I already made them" her coworker replies to her " just remake them". I had walked out the store before I blew up at both of them. My husband comes back along with my sister and my husband starts to drink the liquid thats coming out the top and I sip my drink.....Mine still had pineapples in it and right when i said that my husband's tounge started to itch swell and become numb. They did not wash their hands or the blender that was used RESULTING IN MY HUSBAND HAVING AN ALLERGIC REACTION! I will NEVER come back to this location. No customer service whatsoever or any regard for people with allergies.

Super neat how you can order a Thai chicken wrap and get some Frankenstein wrap containing parmesean crisps and a dressing from a 3rd wrap that I couldn't even place. I can’t emphasize how amazing the food and drinks are at Tropical Smoothie Cafe. If you haven’t had the pleasure of trying it, you need to drop whatever you’re doing and head over there right now. Right. Now. So flavorful and delicious! The staff is so very polite and well trained. You can tell they love their jobs, and they would stop at nothing to satisfy their customers and bring smiles to their faces. And never have I ever seen a cleaner smoothie shop than this! I could practically see my reflection on the counters, not a speck of dirt anywhere. This place is truly amazing, a real work of art. It really is the light at the end of my dark tunnel of life.

I wandered in with two friends on opening morning, and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff and incredible aroma of frozen smoothies and delicious food. We managed to snag a table and we ordered the Chicken Caprese sandwich (included a side of choice and I chose jalapeño corn) as well as the Santa Fe ‘Dilla (side of maple kissed sweet potatoes) and one Watermelon Mojito and the Bahama Mama smoothie.

The Caprese Sandwich was like a little bomb of pesto, balsamic glaze goodness, and the ‘Dilla had a roasted red tomato sauce which was robust but not overpowering. When our smoothies arrived, our expectations continued to be exceeded. The Watermelon Mojito was crisp, flavorful, and fresh tasting. The ingredients worked together beautifully. The Bahama Mama was packed with flavor, and the smoothies both had a great consistency. By the end of the meal we were planning our next visit.

Terrible experience. I was extremely excited about this location because I love tropical cafe and this new location is close to my job. My visit was good, I’m assuming because it was opening day. Second visit was not good. I ordered pick up so I could get something quick and healthy during my lunch. The order was wrong and I had to wait for a new one to be made. I ended up going back to work late/ losing money. I filled out the survey they sent me via email about my experience and received a coupon. My third visit, I went to use the coupon and was told i could only use it for one smoothie. When I explained to the girl at the counter that the coupon DOES NOT specify that, she repeated herself very rudely and gave me a mean look. I asked to speak to the manager and asked when he/she would be in, her replies were just plain rude and careless. Super disappointed in this location. I’ll be going to first watch across the street from now on for healthy lunch options.
