The smoothies are so inconsistent in taste and texture. I normally get one every other day but they just keep getting worse. If you call to tell them about the issue they act like you're a problem, even though I was not asking for a new one because I wasn't about to drive back. I just won't be going here anymore.

Just ok. At many restaurants, I get food that I can't easily make at home. Here, I could actually very easily put some yogurt and peanut butter into a bowl and sprinkle some stuff on it.

The sandwiches and stuff are very low quality and the drinks revoltingly sweet. That just leaves the bowls which are ok.

Also the bags are such that if you have two or more bowls delivered, one will be on its side leaking out. Very poor design.

Smoothies aren't as good as their other locations, but it's probably just a learning curve. My friends said theirs were good, but mine is mostly ice :/

This is my second time coming to Janesvilles Tropical Smoothie and each time the same workers have an attitude. They have an entitlement to receive a tip when we are the ones to pick up the food and all they did was do their job lol?!? If anything they should be mad at their place of employment and not rely on costumers for a tip at a fast food joint where they already make an hourly wage of up to $15 an hour. If they want to rely on tips then they should go be in the serving industry! Good customer service is included in their job which they seem to lack. Very disappointing will not be recommending to anyone. Might want to look for new employees who know basic respect and good hygiene.

I mean it's fine, brand new place but I got the spicy pineapple (?) smoothie and it was really weird. They also only have one size and it's kinda big which isn't ideal for those who need smaller portions. It's also expensive comparatively.

Update: I tried the Bahama Mama and it was pretty good 👍. The sizes are still an issue but they have a couple kids smoothies if you're ok with it being kinda one-note.

I can't speak for food here. Never ordered anything. I have ordered smoothies here dozens of times, and the flavors are good. So my reason for the one star is because service is terrible. The last 4 times I have ordered, I have been waiting about 30 minutes for a smoothie. That's absurdly too long of a wait. There have been times when I have ordered on the app and waited inside patiently, and other customers come in and order smoothies too only to receive there's before I do. They have no sense of urgency to fulfill orders, and they don't do them in order either. All in all, I would never recommend this place due to bad service.

Note: this was our favorite place.. Last two visits have been terrible. As usual, place starts out phenomenal and goes downhill quickly. Wrong food the first time ( kind of disappointing to receive pineapple in your wrap when you ordered a Baja chicken wrap)🙄 Gave it a try the next day and with 7 employees (turtles) behind the counter, waited 35 minutes for a BAJA chicken wrap and a smoothie. Probably would have been longer if we didn't ask where our food was. (Should have been in the pickup in the cafe order pickup window).She had to look all over and ask several different employees. It was just thrown at the end of the counter (cold)and our smoothie was by the drive through window (half melted). Atmosphere is usually good but the attitude was clear when we asked where our food was after online ordering said 10 minutes and it took 35.

Love their smoothies and chicken bacon ranch flatbread. I really like the way you can customize your food and drinks. The employees are always so friendly and my food is ready when I pick up. I highly recommend them even though there was a hiccup one time I had which left me very frustrated because they were closed when they were supposed to be open and there was no notification, and I created a mobile order and was not able to get it before they open because of work but I gave a simple phone call a little later that day and they fix the situation, and they gave me the option of either a refund, or they could remake my food, and I went with the option of them, remaking my food which I’m very please. And the staff was very nice about it and easy to work with.

I was excited to hear there was a new smoothie place in town. My excitement was met with disappointment. I was under the impression the smoothies arw made with fresh ingredients. I was wrong, the smoothie was full of slushed ice and very bland, it was like drinking lightly flavored slushed water. It was money wasted, the smoothie was discarded. The establishment is clean and the customer service was ok. Overall will not be visiting or recommending this establishment.

I love tropical smoothie, the first time I went, no issues whatsoever, however the second time I went, I ordered an online exclusive +chia seeds (which are a little over $1 extra) to which I did not get them in my drink. Also, my drink was mostly ice, where it would get stuck in the straw. I get that it’s still a new establishment, just a little bummed

Spent $40 on smoothies for our family for them to be almost all ice with just a hint of flavor. Either they are cheaping out on ingredients or the employees are too lazy to prepare more. Employees were also arguing from the kitchen and talking badly about customers. Not a good look for such a new place. Won't be back.

My wife and I have been waiting for a smoothie place in Janesville for years. Since their opening we have been there multiple times. The smoothies are a little pricey. I am willing to pay the price though. Smoothies are very fresh tasting and blended very well. As for the food. I have only had the jerk chicken wrap. Which was surprisingly very good. Would highly recommend for fresh tasting food and smoothies. Service is always pleasant as well.

Janesville location - Worst service ever. Picked up a Uber Eats order. Had to wait 15 minutes "for something to dry". The manager had the audacity to be snotty when the order was finally ready. Meanwhile, the smoothies sat there melting during the wait. Nobody there seemed to be in any kind of hurry, even for people in the drive thru.
