Love this Tropical Smoothie!!!
The food is always so yummy and the workers are always very kind. My boyfriend is allergic to pineapple, and the young man that took our order informed us that he can sub out the pineapple for another fruit in the smoothie. So my boyfriend was able to take out the pineapple for some banana instead! We never knew you could do that!!!! That’s amazing!!!

I’ve had multiple unpleasant experiences with Lily at this Tropical Smoothie location on Durand Ave. Every time I’ve come in, she has been rude and unprofessional — rolling her eyes and making the interaction uncomfortable.

Most recently, I went through the drive-through and instead of simply handing me my smoothie, she called over another coworker to do it. The coworker even looked confused and apologized for the situation. This wasn’t the first time I’ve had issues with her either. On a separate visit, I corrected her before she started making my smoothie because she had the wrong order. Instead of listening, she went ahead and made the wrong smoothie anyway, then later confirmed with another employee that I was right. That wasted both supplies and time, and I was the only person in the lobby with the correct order clearly on the board.

At this point, it’s a pattern. The customer service with Lily has consistently been unpleasant, and it really takes away from what should be a simple, positive experience.

Drive through always takes forever even worth no cars there, they let you know something is out stock last minute, or they mess up ur order. Also I always add Nutella for $1.29 and it’s not even a drizzle . Always just one drop of Nutella for $1.29. And doesn’t matter if u order ahead on the app or not there’s always a wait . I love Tropical. I used to go to the Greenfield location often. Though they tended to make orders slowly, the food was always good. However, I’ve had errors multiple times when ordering from the Racine location. This time the order was correct, but the wrap was extremely hard/stale and laughably understuffed. It looked more like a flatbread.

I want to order here multiple times a week because I work really close. But I won’t do this if the quality remains so poor.

Went there yesterday to get a detox smoothie. Didn’t like the idea that they don’t come in different sizes. You get this super large smoothie that cost you almost 9 dollars. I wish they had a smaller size.
You actually have to be hungry to be able to drink the whole thing.
It was all in all pretty good. Service was horrible. Went to the drive-through and sat there at least 25 minutes. That’s a long time to wait at a drive-through. I will go back just because I like the idea of the healthy smoothies, but I am wondering if their vegetables and fruits are organic I’ll have to call and find out

Chose the drive-thru and was immediately disappointed that most of the things we were interested in trying weren't available because they were out of the products. Service was short, not disrespectful or anything but definitely not friendly or inviting. The smoothies are insanely huge and there didn't seem to be options for smaller or any other sizes. The smoothies were tasty though and basically saved this experience. We decided on the Baja wrap, and there were maybe 5 tiny pieces of chicken in the entire wrap. Basically a beans and rice burrito with guac and the mention of chicken. The only side available other than chips was the jalapeño roasted corn. While the flavor was decent, the sauce was extremely watery. Almost $30 for 2 smoothies, a very skimped on burrito with a very small side is a bit over priced. It's a franchise but definitely needs attention to its details, products and services. Sadly we don't think we will return.

So i'm from up north appleton where tropical smoothie is very good. I came down here and it's extremely disappointing. They get the orders wrong. It, it took me an hour and a 1/2 to get my smoothie. And they don't taste the same as up North. I recently visited Tropical Smoothie Cafe and had a very disappointing experience. When I walked in, there was a couple already waiting in line ahead of me. Despite them having been there for a while, it still took at least another five minutes before anyone came to take their order.

I stood directly behind them, and after they finally ordered, the employee walked away and started doing other tasks instead of acknowledging me. After standing there for a while with no one offering to take my order, I decided to place it online while still at the counter.

Another 10 minutes passed, and a family came in and stood several feet away from the register. Not long after, an employee came out from the back and asked the new family if they had ordered—completely ignoring me, even though I was standing right at the counter. Eventually, that family received their order before I even got mine.

In total, it took about 25 minutes from the time I ordered online to when I finally got my smoothie. When I mentioned the situation to the employee handing me my drink, she didn’t acknowledge it at all—no apology or explanation.

To top it off, the smoothies were bland and watery, definitely not worth the $8+ price tag. For that price, I expected something with actual fruit flavor, not a watered-down drink.

All in all, I don’t recommend this location. Poor service and subpar product—definitely not worth the time or money.

We were really excited to see a new Tropical Smoothie Café open so close to home, especially as longtime fans who have visited many locations. Unfortunately, our experiences at this new location so far have been disappointing. We’ve visited three times since the opening, and each time we’ve encountered issues, poor quality, missing items, unusually small portions, and smoothies that weren’t properly blended.

We’re still hopeful and trying to reserve judgment, as we genuinely want to see this location succeed. However, based on our experiences so far, we’re concerned it may struggle to retain repeat customers without some improvements. When we visited on opening day, it was clear that the staff was learning on the job and that there hadn’t been a soft launch or sufficient preparation to help them hit the ground running.

We’re rooting for this location to improve and deliver the same high-quality food and consistency we’ve come to expect from other locations.

Leaving a review for mostly the customer service than the food.
Yesterday, I received a smoothie that was made wrong and called to report the issue with the GM. Unfortunately, I forgot her name but she told me to speak to Donovan when I arrive to get a smoothie comp'd for the tiny mishap.

When I arrived there, it was a little busy but I have patience so it was a piece of cake to me. When I was able to speak to Donovan, I told him what happened and the first thing he asked was " Are you okay?". I have been working in customer service for yeaaaaars and the concern the GM and Donovan showed towards me is outstanding.

Also, I saw a review that said that the girls looked mean or were disrespectful ? I didn't get that vibe? This location is pretty new, I would assume they are concentrating.
