I had few reservations which for some reason were canceled. When I called to ask why the gentleman said "don't worry there is no problem if you come around 5" so we came at 5:15, starting with entry, I asked for table for two( the restaurant was pretty empty) the host stated that there is nothing open till after 630pm. I tried explaining that i actually had a reservation which was cancelled and she said " I just asked you if you had a reservation" which she didn't, and continued to trying to convince me that she asked about the reservation. Just being rude about it, finally asking my name and then she said " I see you had a reservation why would you not tell me when I asked you" again she never did. I asked her if there was a problem with seating us, she simply turned around and said follow me! She sat my mom and I in a very small booth where it was quite dark and left. I then went back to ask if we could have a different table to see better she then moved us to another table and never left any menus. The waiter showed up after a hot minute with a very delicious hot bread and asked if we were ready to order. We told him that we didn't have any menus and he asked if we seated ourselves 🤦‍♀️ we ordered drinks and for food we ordered scallops on a bed of Parmesan orzo. The scallops were very overdone and rubbery and the orzo was mushy and overcooked. Asked for another glass of wine which came at the end of the meal. Needless to say I will not be eating here again or would I recommend.

Finally tried this restaurant after numerous trips here to Lake Geneva and enjoyed it. The atmosphere and service were excellent. Heather was very attentive and took time to explain the menu and seasonal items to us newcomers. We decided on the spinach dip and the salad with poppy seed dressing as appetizers. I highly recommend the spinach dip. The pita chips were perfectly baked, crisp and triangular and the spinach dip was tasty and a nice portion. We then had our entrees, one steak and shrimp and one spicy pasta with scallops, mussels, shrimp and white fish (had a name). Both were nice portions and we had leftovers. I was unsure about the pasta because I'm not a big spaghetti lover but I'd do it again! The steak, shrimp and vegetables were cooked nicely and the portion was hefty. Our two dislikes would be the garlic mashed potatoes and the clam chowder because the potatoes were dry and starchy like instant potatoes and the clam chowder was watery and lacked flavor. All and all a great experience. We'll have to try the drinks on the next visit.

The fish we ate was definitely not fresh. Both calamari and walleye did not taste right. Also artichoke deep was mediocre. Rest of the food seemed ok. If you are invited for dinner here, I recommend to avoid fish plates. But if you are to pick a restaurant, I would definitely avoid it.

I like to go Tuscan restaurant in Lake Geneva. But this time was slightly different from my past experience . The chicken in my pasta had few chewy pieces. That was unusual. I hope they fix this when I visit them next time.

Its a very nice Italian restaurant located a little bit of the main street. The staff is friendly and fast and knowledgeable. The food and the drinks are tasty. We were so happy with everything at Tuscan ! Authentic Italian food and very nice servers! This was our first visit to Lake Geneva, a girls getaway to celebrate our cousin’s 50th birthday. Ryan our waiter was ABSOLUTELY hands down the BEST waiter I’ve ever had! He was everything all rolled into one! Sweet, funny, professional & just an all around GREAT server! I came on Saturday during art in the park and it was a very busy lake Geneva weekend. It was originally supposed to be seven of us that ended up being eight with two kids so technically probably like 9 1/2 anyways they were so accommodating and their weight staff, as well as their hostesses were absolutely fantastic to help us accommodate. I give them a 10 out of 10 just for being so amazing and helping us figure out a situation so we could have our family gathering I forgot the hostesses names. I wish I could remember so I could give them a great review. Our waiter was fantastic. I cannot recommend this place enough. The food was delicious. We stopped by celebrating a birthday and anniversary starting with drinks at the bar angel served us great drinks and was extremely friendly and talkative. The old fashioned was great. We also ordered calamari and it was some of the best we had. Unfortunately, the food here was mediocre at best. I had the chicken Parmesan, which was overcooked, rubbery, and lacked any real flavor. We had a rehearsal dinner at Tuscan this past weekend. Everything was absolutely perfect. The atmosphere (we had the private room in the lower level) was a perfect setting with our own bar and tables. The appetizers came out quickly, were delicious and quickly replenished when we devoured the first batch and requested another round. The salad and meals were plentiful and everyone had leftovers. Even next day, the food was amazing! Then - the staff... Our server and bartenders were great. They went above and beyond to make sure we had what we wanted and that we always had a full glass. Most disappointing was the food. We've eaten here many times and we wondered if they had hired a different chef as the food quality wasn't up to previous experiences.
I had the chicken marsala which was so bland I found myself continually adding salt and pepper to give it some flavor. The chicken was a bit tough. One of our party had the Mediterranean salad. She commented that when having it before, the lettuce was more chopped and dressing more flavorful. This was just big pieces of lettuce and basically a bland oil & vinegar dressing.
Everyone else's meal was about on par as what I'm describing above. Average. As mentioned, we've had good experiences there in previous visits but this definitely soured the experience.

We arrive for a bachelorette with a reservation for the wrong date (100 my fault) and the manager Jade welcomed us (party of 8) opened arms and was so sweet and accommodating and made sure we still were sat in a timely manner and had a great experience.

While in Lake Geneva make sure you try out Tuscan Tavern & Grill.

For drinks we ordered a Black Fig Old Fashioned and Blood Orange Margarita.

Forgive me, but I forgot to get the ingredients for these drinks, and I am kicking myself for it. The Black Fig Old Fashioned was absolutely delicious and something I would want to drink regularly. It reminded me of having fig newtons with my grandparents when I was child.

The Blood Orange Margarita didn’t come across as a margarita and was a very sweet drink.

The Clam Chowder Soup I would have to say was probably the best clam chowder soup I have ever had. It was so silky, creamy and just seasoned really well.

The Short Rib was very tender and the gnocchi had a nice crispiness to them. This dish was very well put together.

The Scallops we would have preferred a little more sear on them, but they were so tender, buttery and sweet. The risotto was pretty tight and could have used some work, but overall it was absolutely fantastic.

Our server, Adriane, was immediately super personable and friendly. Right off the bat she was cracking jokes and you just felt like she was a friend. She is definitely the kind of server you want at any restaurant you go to.

Again, 100% would recommend this place and we will try to find time to get back here again.

Typical Italian restaurant ambiance, nice dark wood dim mood lighting, professional service, good food. My Mom n I both ordered the prime rib sandwiches for lunch, hers with garlic mashed, mine with creamy cheesy risotto with lots of chopped parsley. Everything was delicious.

I took my two teenage daughters and they each had a friend with to come here for lunch today. My older daughter had been really excited to dine here since we arrived in Lake Geneva yesterday. What a wonderful experience! When we first entered, we were greeted by the very lovely Susan, she was so kind and welcoming! Then we were seated in their very warm and relaxing atmosphere. We also had a super kind waitress, we ordered, ate super yummy food, the Vodka pasta and pizza were fire!! And our service overall that we received was fantastic, A+! Then when we went to leave, Susan gave us a wonderful compliment on how awesome the girls all were, and how they were always smiling when she passed by❤️, thank you again so much for that Susan, it was very warming to hear! I just love how down to earth and personable Susan is and she made dining in this restaurant a very pleasant experience and we will surely return the next time we visit Lake Geneva! We appreciated you today!

Came for lunch during the week in a party of 5 and we all agreed we'll never come back. Everyone's dish was horrible in some way: old tasting/smelling, dry or overcooked burger, salmon, corned beef, and shrimp; days old mashed potatoes that were overwhelmed with powdered garlic, and old and weird tasting sandwich bread. We all were not feeling well afterwards.

Also, we were sat in the covered patio area, and it was too loud a space. We could hear the convo of the table on the opposite side of the room as if they were right next to us.

We’ve been here tons of times and have always had great service and food. But tonight we got there early to pick up our take out order with my two kids and had to wait a little for our food ( our fault for coming early!) but between the bartender, a server, and another young man they absolutely went above and beyond with stickers, blue bandaids, offered drinks, you name it! Absolute god send when you have two toddlers and you’re pregnant! Just made us love coming there even more because at the end of the day no where else has ever gone out of there way like that when they didn’t have to! Thank you!!!

Celebrated our engagement here and we made the right choice! Everything was very delicious and our server, an older gentleman really made our experience enjoyable he was so kind & helpful. We got the filet tenderloin & walleye dinners and both were cooked great. My only complaint is the mashed potatoes were a little dry but they had great flavor. Excellent dinner all together & would return.

My wife and I were in the area for our marriage retreat and needed a good Italian restaurant to dine in for our date night. Book a reservation in advance and the place didn’t disappoint when we got there, the establishment was lovely and cozy with good atmosphere around it .

What made me write this review is for the fact that where we were seating was a good spot but a bit noise to carry a close conversation. Somehow Rob, who’s is the manager read my wife mind and volunteered to move us to a separate location. That kind gesture and move made her day which also made my day seeing her happy and how he took the initiative and showed care.

The food was great and our waitress Lilli was simply amazing and great to have . Between Rob and Lilly, what was expected to be a normal dine in, ended up being a perfect evening/date night . Now, anytime we are in the area, this will be a place for us to go . I truly hope Rob and Lilli gets the much needed recognitions for their kindness, service, and professionalism -they showed to us on that day which is rare in many places now , with so many options now, good serve is expect, but great service is what keeps people like us wanting to come back and tell all of our friends and associates when they are also in the area.
Thank you Rob and Lilli for making my wife so happy and the day memorable!

My sister and I eat Gluten Free. She has an intolerance, and I have Celiac. I enjoyed a wonderful Shrimp Alfredo. The noodles were the best I've ever had. My sister had the ravioli and said it was delicious as well. We had warm gf bread with olive oil and parm... what a treat that was.
I will definitely be back to try something new. Our waiter was a very pleasant young man.

My husband and I were blown away by the good service here. The manager, Rob, literally read my mind (we were sitting in an area with a few large tables, so it was a bit loud), and he volunteered to move us to a quiet spot without us even asking. Lillie took excellent care of us, getting my husband the exact shrimp he wanted from the kitchen (he likes them charred a bit). Based on the service of these two alone, we will be back the next time we are in Lake Geneva.

My brokerage held a two-day learning conference in Lake Geneva, where we had about 35 people attend. Our first night group dinner was at Tuscan Tavern & Grill. The service, food, and drinks were absolutely fantastic! The service was prompt and efficient! The food was fresh and hot! The drinks were delicious! I had a fig and regular old fashioned, house salad, and the Shrimp Diabo (had 6-8 large shrimp).

Not to repeat myself, the service was excellent, especially considering our large and obnoxious group.

Tuscan Tavern & Grill was added to our shortlist.

I’ve been to this restaurant twice and both times were excellent! Our waiter was extremely friendly, welcoming and patient as the conversations were flowing vs focused on ordering. I met my girlfriend for dinner here on Jan. 15. It was the first time for both of us, as Lake Geneva is a half way point for us.

Parking was plentiful and the decor of the restaurant was cozy. After checking in I waited by the gorgeous fireplace.

The dining area had a wonderful atmosphere and our server, Victor, was very attentive, taking our order promptly and checking in on us often after our food arrived.

The food came fast and it was hot. The only knock was that the chicken in my chicken Parmesan was a little thin and tasted a tad off.

Other than that, it was a wonderful time and we look forward to coming back.

Had a reservation for a large party, an hour past our reservation time and the hostess and manager still could tell us when our party could be seated.
Wish I would have known reservations mean absolutely nothing to this restaurant. I fort Tuscan said they couldn’t do anything we just had to wait.
Our company party was able to move to a different restaurant in town that was able to accommodate our whole group.
They lost a lot of business that night along with the future having another Walworth county business being treated in this manner.
