We pulled the boat into the public docks in Prescott and decided to check out Two Rivers for happy hour. Such a good call! It’s just a quick walk from the river and the place has a huge deck that’s perfect for hanging out.

We grabbed some drinks and a couple of apps—cheese curds and the big pretzel with beer cheese. Both hit the spot. The curds were perfectly crispy on the outside and gooey inside, and the pretzel was soft, warm, and great for sharing. Exactly what you want after a day on the water.

Service was friendly, and everything came out quick. The vibe is really laid back—kind of that classic Wisconsin river bar feel where everyone’s just out to have a good time. Between the cold drinks, good snacks, and that view from the deck, it was the perfect happy hour stop.

If you’re boating through or just driving by, definitely worth pulling over for a round and some apps. We’ll for back next time we’re on the river.

We decided to grab a bite here after noticing the large deck they had on the back side facing the train tracks and the river. The deck the have here is really nice and we enjoyed sitting at a table on it and watching the trains go by as we ate. The appetizers and burgers were very good and the service was good as well. I thought the pricing was quite reasonable being roughly $25 per person for burgers, sodas, and appetizers. I definitely will be back. Great all around spot to grab a bite.

Pretty literally stumbled in, starving on the driving leg of an all day trip. Surprising find in this small town. Great setting, outdoor second floor seating looking across the railroad tracks at the Mississippi (medium sized here in Wisconsin - boats and a noisy but not obnoxious train - moved right along). The atmosphere will remind you of a log cabin with a cute camping scene above the bathrooms, a canoe hanging from the ceiling, snowshoes on the wall, and countless other knick knacks to boot. I brought my dad for his 92nd birthday. He is in a wheelchair. Two employees helped lift my dad and his chair up the ledge to get him in the door. So very Minnesotan and so very nice. 💝

Stop by with high hopes for a great meal here. I very much wanted to like this place. Overall it's not someplace I would come back to.

The atmosphere is going to be hit or miss depending on if you like trains. The back half of the restaurant was open and you could see and hear the trains coming through. The issue I had with it was the extremely loud screeching sound from the trains breaks. It filled the bar and was ear piercing. I don't know if this happens often but it was enough for me to decide I did not want to return.

The food was okay at best. There was nothing about it that really set it apart from anywhere else. It reminded me of something one step above fast food. Not to say that it was terrible, just not even close to what I expected for a sit down restaurant.

The service was quite good. I sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive. My food came out correct and the bartender checked with me once after I got my meal.

Overall the service was fair. The food in my opinion was subpar for this type of a restaurant. The atmosphere was quite nice until the trains came through.

Two Rivers is one of the best restaurants in town, and ever since he built/started this restaurant, the town is constantly buzzing!! It is So busy it’s hard to find parking, good thing Prescott public works boss has incorporated parking lots behind the holiday, going up Cherry Street (aka third grade hill), two spots. He also added parking on Orange Street (aka 2nd grade hill). Just telling you all this so that when you come to eat and see all the main street parking full, you will realize there is parking behind Main Street on two of the three hills and will be a block or two to get to Main Street.
Back to Two Rivers, great food, great/unique atmosphere. I’ve been there numerous times and every time the experience has been fabulous!!! Services great, Hostess, wait staff, And the bartenders are very friendly and efficient.

We had a party of eight and the bill was about $250 with three appetizers- eight entrees and about 12 drinks-So very good price For high-quality food and service.

The food is handmade. I ordered the steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. You can tell that these potatoes are made with real potatoes and the green beans are very fresh off the field. delicious delicious delicious. That’s all I can say.

We came here for a small birthday dinner. The waitress was phenomenal. She had a whole section of large tables, but she did not falter with our service.

I would recommend this place and I plan to return!

was meeting a girlfriend there for dinner with my service animal. The server said immediately "we are not dog friendly". He sent me to the basement where a manager snarled at me for attempting to dine there with my dog. Clearly not dog friendly, however, every summer they can welcome hundreds of thousands of harley bikers who spit, urinate, defecate, smoke, chew and sweat all over their place. If you are a dog lover, do not go to Two Rivers. They hate dogs.

While at this restaurant, I had high expectations for the food. Unfortunately, my expectations were not met. In fact, I was incredibly disappointed and wished I had gone somewhere else for dinner. My significant other, and I wanted to thoroughly enjoy our date night. Instead, I am leaving hungry due to the quality of the food. Not to mention, my order was incorrect. Our server did offer to send the order back, but at that point, I chose not to. I made that choice because my boyfriend and I would have had our meals at different times, and the food wasn't good. Honestly, we wanted to leave but didn't as we already ordered/ received our food, and we felt obligated to stay. The waitress could tell that we were disappointed and decided not to acknowledge us or ask how we were doing and check on our table as servers should do. I have been a waitress myself, and if I were in her position, I would have rectified the issue by either removing the meal from our check or have the manager on duty ask us what we would like done because of our experience. Not even a slight discount was given. We will not return and feel that this was not handled properly. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone.

We are local to Prescott and love going here above most other places. We order out a couple times a month.
I love anything with their Pot Roast! Mommas pot roast or the dip sandwich are amazing, the meat is always so moist and they give you a TON of meat.
My husband always gets their steak nachos, he says their cheese sauce is the best part. Very tasty.
Cheese curds are a delicious appetizer.

It can definitely get loud and crowded in there on the weekend nights, but the service has been excellent and friendly every time we’ve gone.

Cool restaurant / bar over looking the St. Croix and Mississippi River convergence. The place has that cabin lodge feel that makes it very cozy. We noticed all the windows are on garage door sliders, so we'll have to revisit on a good weather day.
