We had a hard time understanding the waitress and I’m guessing she had a hard time understanding us. Sushi was good. Just as good as any other hibachi place.

I ordered the Japanese noodles plate and instead got the soup bowl. The soup had little to no flavor. Tried asking if it was the correct order and she just said thank you and walked away.

My girlfriend ordered the Lobster hibachi with +1 option with noodle. She came back and said (I’m guessing) the lobster doesn’t come with hibachi and can be an add on. Even though it’s listed in the menu. So we were charged for a whole lobster tail and she never got her noodle option.

I asked one of the bus boys to bring me a menu so I can show the waitress and neither got me one. Just kept saying sorry.

We usually love going there but tonight my son had a diaper malfunction and to my surprise there was no changing station in the bathroom. I had to change him standing up on the wet sink, then there was no garbage in the bathroom so I had to walk out to where people were sitting/eating to track down a bus boy to find a garbage can. This was a mistake, the guy that came out to cook was bored and you could tell he did not want to be there. after spending over $215 the food was to salty and all in all I was as bored as the cook. Never again at this place. We went there for a friend's birthday and we had reservations for 7:15 didn't get in until 7:45 on a monday, waited an hour before we even got water. Left before we could even order food. So I can't speak on that. A word to this business.. do not tell customers that you are able to accommodate a larger party when you don't have the staff for it. Good sushi most of the time. Last night not so much. We politely let our server know that simply one of our rolls tasted out of the norm very bad and if there was a possibility that that one could be removed from the bill after only sampling it. They spoke to the manager who came over and said only a small percentage of the roll can be taken off the bill since we tried it.
So be prepared to judge if your food tastes like sewer water only by looking at it, otherwise you're paying for it. Even if you had to spit it into the napkin on the table.
Our actual server was wonderful and kind as usual. Manager, was very rude and should not be working with people. Being okay with suggesting to just leave less of a tip is wild and hopefully the owners see this.

I went to this place with my best friend for her birthday, and let me just say, it was an amazing experience that I will remember forever. It is required to reserve a table if you would like hibachi, otherwise it is walk in. If you decide to get hibachi, an extremely talented chef brings all the ingredients to your table and cooks it right in front of your eyes! He also does tricks to engage the table, and one of them is flipping an egg onto his hat! The food was amazing, and so were the drinks. They also have a cotton candy machine where you can make flower shaped cotton candy!

Our waitress was very quick and attentive to welcome us and take our order. We sat in the general dining area and only ordered sushi. The atmosphere is nice, but there were three birthdays while we were there and they play a birthday song over the speakers that is like nails on a chalkboard haha. I appreciate their effort and consideration though. Overall our sushi was great, and comes with a very thought out display, after all they say presentation is half the battle. Several rolls say they have the chefs special sauce.. idk if the sauce is the same for all rolls or different for each. I ordered the Wisconsin roll and did not love the “special sauce” but that’s always a gamble you take so I didn’t take off a star for that. There is a ton of sushi to choose from so that’s a plus. Overall, fast service, great food, and the location in downtown Sheboygan is great. Would go back again and again.

Did hibachi with a group twice in the last few weeks (have been there other times in the last few years with same experience). Food is always good but the service is terrible. Had to wait over 45 minutes until anyone came to our table (we had reservations both times). We were there over 2 hours total each time and got our drinks refilled once, appetizers were forgotten until we said something over halfway through the meal, bill was wrong both times (overcharged). Not sure how the reviews are overwhelmingly positive when every time we've been there it's been subpar at best.

We've been here dozens of times since it's opened. Food is just okay. We've ate at a table, served from the kitchen, to having all of the chairs filled around the grill, what I don't agree with, is the tip being automatically added to our bill when we have a large group, considering we have to wait forever for drinks, mistakes being made, etc. So our service is sub par, and we're suppose to automatically tip a high percentage per this rule, I don't agree with it. If i have to leave my seat in oder to get a drink, or chase a waitress down for help, i dont believe that's service worth tipping for. You won't change my mind on that one. I think from now on, I'll just remove the tip myself, and pay cash, there shouldn't automatically be a tip when you have bad service, etc..

I went online to reserve a table for one and check the wait time which was only five minutes. Great! I showed up and was greeted and seated in a booth immediately. Afterwards within 15 to 20 minutes I received my drink & food. The server checked in on me once about the food. Afterwards, seven minutes later I finally seen the server again and asked about trying the green tea & banana ice cream for dessert. I completely understand it was busy, I came in at the start of dinner time. However, I was passed up multiple times waited for some time before another server dropped off a dessert that was not my order before I could look up and ask if it was the correct dessert she was gone. Waited a bit longer before getting the attention of a male server to help. So, I waited... at this point I'm seeing people who came in after me getting their bills and leaving. Finally, two other servers approach me one after the other informing me about the upcoming dessert I asked for, I just automatically canceled the dessert and wanting my tab to go. I couldn't believe the wait time for a table of one. Food was delicious, atmosphere was enriched with many people coming and going, the server was sweet and polite. I've had multiple issues with the place ever since they opened but this one pissed me off. It was my son's 8th birthday today and he was so excited to go here for the first time. Well the cook ruined our night. He was rude. He literally yelled at my son to sit down when he was, he was just reaching over to me to get another thing of sushi from my plate. He could have said sit and then waited a little bit until he grabbed what he needed. He didnt make the experience fun like it should be and how other places we've been to make it. We were rushed the whole night. We weren't even close to being done eating and got the check shoved in our face and only given a couple minutes to get our money out before being asked to pay. This was my last straw. If you're rude to me fine but my child!!! Yup! No! I won't be back. My only regret is not yelling right back at the cook to advocate for my son. Ridiculous!

I've given this place two chances and have had issues with both. The first was with a group for hibachi. The food was great, but even with calling ahead, we were waiting over 20min once we arrived at the specified time. Two people in our group ordered off the normal menu and their food never came. When the staff finally realized, they brought out a bowl of white rice 15min later and nothing else. The couple ended up leaving.
The second time, I dined in with my friend. It was clear they were extremely short staffed. The food tasted okay, but roughly 1.5hrs later I vomited everything back up. Safe to say I will not be returning.

Made a reservation but when I showed up at the time I was told our reservation did not exist. Got appointed a table in what felt like a dungeon in the deepest darkest depths of the corner. Our server rushed our table of four out in less than 45 minutes. We all ordered Hibachi medium rare and all of our steak came over well. One meal had all onions and no vegies and all of meals had very dry and tasteless rice; not worth 29.95. Not a great place for a birthday celebration. They also served the beer warm.
