You get what it says on the tin. It’s a country diner as you’d expect it: country diner decor, country diner food, and good country diner service.

Omelettes were good and all the other plates going by looked good as well.

Nothing culinarily exquisite or unusual, but it was good, fresh made food and it made me feel great.

Coffee was better than expected.

Cinnamon roll can be skipped… nice, but not very sweet… its just bread and an odd flavored icing.

Always a reliable place for breakfast and coffee. Also great for lunch & dinner. Some gravy foods tend to be a bit onthe salty side. Know your limits and they bring you a little to taste if salt is a problem for you.

Great food! I ordered the Royal Doyle omelette, which was excellent, and the hash browns were perfectly crispy just the way I asked. Instead of settling for the free hotel breakfast, I walked here — and it was absolutely worth it.

Love this place! I don't live in town and I hadn't been by for some time but stopped by today and it was well worth it. The hot beef plate was delicious and the portions were large. Also had the coconut custard pie and salad bar. Both were excellent. Nice energy. Yummy!! 💗💗

Very nice diner/restaurant easily visible with on street parking.
We were lured in by the smell of whatever was cooking that day and our growling stomachs made the decision. We were not disappointed by the food nor the service!
Our table ordered the fried fish and broasted dinner specials of the day, which included the salad bar. First off, the salad bar is the best I have had ever in Wisconsin (it also included slice of homemade rhubarb bread this day!). The dinner specials were excellent as well, served hot! We topped off our meal with a slice of banana cream pie, shared. (Definitely should have each gotten our own).
Service was great; server was pleasant and sociable.
We arrived after the lunch hour so plenty of seating.
I definitely recommend dining at Unique Cafe if you are in the area. We live about 40 miles away and both agreed it would be worth it to drive to Boscobel to dine here!

We were passing through and decided to have lunch at Boscobel. We didn’t know where to go but this was the closest to where we parked at.
Ty ordered a hot beef plate and I had broasted chicken. We didn’t expect the food to be THAT good 👍.
This place reminded us of Prairie Kitchen which is THE go to place where we come from because of good home cooked food and no nonsense people working there.
People have to know where to eat at when they go to Boscobel.
Keep it up!

Driving thru town on our way north and looking for a local place. Food was good (sandwich and fries). Had to laugh because after dealing with the young waitress, the owner wrote on the dry board 'training staff.. be patient.' Admittedly, she was very green. Couldn't answer our simple questions about the menu...and we smiled because she reminded us of our young niece. She will get there, and we were happy to have her. A 60s retro look, but could use some love.

I recently visited Unique Cafe with a couple of friends. When they asked if I had ever been there before, I initially said no. However, as I settled in, I realized that I had actually been there previously, although it had undergone some changes since my last visit.

One noticeable change was the brighter and more open atmosphere, which was a pleasant surprise compared to my previous experience.

Despite my initial desire for burgers, we arrived early in the morning, and this restaurant was serving only breakfast. To my surprise, the breakfast options turned out to be exceptional.

What truly stood out was the excellent service. I had a few questions, and the staff answered them without hesitation, enhancing our overall dning experience.

Staff ignored me when I walked through the door. She waited at least 10 minutes before she even acknowledged me, ONLY after she looked past me one to many times, I asked her could I seat myself . She greeted all the other patrons as they came the door, asking them where would they like to be seated. It was a group standing before where she cleaned a table for them to dine and she seated. NEVER did anyone ever come clean my table I cleaned it with the glass of water brought out by another staff member with the napkins on the table. All the tables that were empty were unclear and unclean. I have been sick ever since I ate at this establishment.😡😡
