We went on a haunted ghost tours on door county trolley right down the street and it was supposed to be over at 8:30. We made reservations for 8:45 but we did not get back until 8:50. I called the restaurant and asked if we could still get served and we would be there about 5to 9:00 and they close at 9:00. Kim, who turned out to be the owner didn't hesitate and just said don't worry about it come on in will serve you. We have a favorite new restaurant. I had the rigatoni and the sauce was phenomenal, and awesome meatballs.. wife had the veal scallopini and it was fantastic. Also the cocktails were great. Thanks Kim for being so gracious. Will definitely be back.

My husband and I came here on our last night of our honeymoon, the staff was so friendly and welcoming. Our food and drinks were just phenomenal! The owner offered dessert on the house for our honeymoon, which was super sweet and we really appreciated it! Thank you to the staff that served us for an outstanding experience!

I ordered the Veal Marsala. It was almost uneatable. Horrific flavor. I took it home and threw it in the trash. I was surprised because we had been there before and it was good, we won’t be going back there, too many other great restaurants in Door County!

Worth the stop. Our server, Michelle, bar tender Wilbert and host ( don't have a name) were all outstanding. You get the feel that this place works as a team and enjoy it. The food was outstanding. When even a basic dish as Lasagna is done to perfection, not over cooked, just perfect. The sauce was delicious. The spinach bacon salad was excellent, fresh spinach, light but tasty dressing and Wow on the carnalized bacon. This bacon could convert a vegetarian. So good. My mother in law had the Swai fish, which was a special. I didn't taste it, but she thought it was very good. The breads were also very good. Need to go back and try more menu items.

Order the Portorhouse steak, it was cooked medium rare like I ordered but had zero sear on it and lacked any evidence of any seasoning. The steak with some sear and seasoning would have been good. Would also be nice if there was butter at the table. They use cans of tomato sauce as decor, looks like costco in there. Drinks good, staff nice and friendly.

We were able to make reservations for four online (an easy process). Arriving about 15 minutes early, we were invited to wait at the bar and were served some fantastic cocktails. Dinner was amazing (I had the Chicken Scallopini), and the dessert was better (Cannoli, pictured). Our server was polite and attentive. We closed the place down at 9:00 but never felt rushed to leave.

Highly recommended!

Dined at Villaggios with a party of 6. Enjoyed pre dinner cocktails which were tasty. We sampled their home made mushrooms used as cocktail garnish and they are amazing, i would eat a bowl full. For dinner some in the party ordered a bread appetizer with marinara and pesto. The marinara was a hit. I ordered the Cena salad with house vinaigrette and it was delicious with lots of fresh veggies and fresh grated parmesan was offered. Dinner entrees ordered included a pasta with fresh veggies, one with grilled chicken, lasagna and a baked rigatoni with meatballs. Fresh grated parmesan was offered to your taste. Everyone really enjoyed their meals. I like that they list multiple pasta and sauce combos and you can choose to add roasted veggies, chicken, meat balls, sausage links or seafood as you prefer. Great way to do it. The restaurant offers pizza if thats more to your taste and they hace take out options. They have a very nice wine selection. The owner or manager was present and engaged with everyone. We had a great meal and would happily return.

The food was good and the atmosphere had a nice balance of casual and sophisticated. Our waiter was excellent — kind, attentive, and helpful.

We ordered a Villaseñor plate, fettuccine Alfredo, and a make-your-own pizza — all were fresh and well-prepared.

For dessert, we had the spumoni. The flavors didn’t disappoint, but we ended up waiting longer for it than we had for our entrees. It would’ve been helpful to know there’d be such a delay.

Overall, a great experience — but the unexpected wait for dessert, combined with food that was good but not exceptional, kept it from being a full five stars.

The waiter was delightful, and most everyone in our group of 8 loved their food. I had the fish special and my fish was a little bland. The most notable part of the evening was, however, when my 10 month old had a blow out. I was really disappointed to find there was no baby changing station in the restroom!! To me, that is unacceptable. Diaper changing stations can be installed for under $200 and should be in both gender bathrooms.

We went during off season and had reservations for 6pm. The Bartender was very friendly. We arrived a bit earlier to have a cocktail first. The 6 of us sat down and our server asked about an extra cocktail and was very nice. She took our appetizer order first, and then came back for our dinner order. Three of us ordered the 10oz Tenderloin with the vegetable and garlic mashed. Right before the dinner was served We were told they ran out of potatoes. We were given some sort of risotto instead. It was very bland and totally lacked flavor. The vegetable was roasted parsnips, broccoli and carrots. That too was very dried out. The steak was delicious and done perfectly and served with garlic baby mushrooms. The server was very pleasant and came back many times. I was expecting a better meal for $56 a plate. I would like to go back during regular season and try again. I found it odd that they opened at 4pm and had no potatoes by 6pm. They were not busy when we arrived. We did the 20% as the server was very good.

dining room empty at arrival. Sat us in a long booth which sat 4 separate parties eventually. Not a quaint arrangement. Asked if they y served sangria she had to check and the answer was no. Husband ordered an Arnold Palmer and was told they don’t have lemonade or ice tea! wow! We then ordered a spinach salad which was drowning in dressing, soggy, received two small pieces of bread, we asked for butter and she told us they don’t have any butter! Then on to the entrees, Husband ordered angel hair pasta with prichitto, scallops and shrimp. four shrimp and 2 scallops for 36.00. I ordered the 4 cheese pizza which was ok but dripping in grease. Sorry to say we would not recommend or be back. 6/22/25 @ 5pm

Fantastic place for a nicer dinner. We showed up without a reservation and the staff were more than happy to accommodate. Bartender was great, personable and knowledgeable. Food was okay, average to below average. We ordered mostly Italian dishes, pasta and pizza. Reservation at 5:30, seated at 6:00, didn't get entrees until 7:30. Table of 8. Four people shared two pizzas, four people ordered pasta entrees. Restaurant was not busy at all; there were only a few other tables when we were seated. An inordinate amount of wait time for mediocre food. Will not recommend. EDIT: Will email response to owner to answer their request, as I do not see an option in Google reviews to reply.

Cocktails were good. Bartender was great at explaining the difference between Italian verse the normal booze. Waitress staff top notch. My wife ordered the veal, she loved it. The couple behind us ,pizza ,loved it.
Myself, the real life Charlie Brown looked forward 2 the frutti di mare. Have had it in many states, from the north end of Boston
2 Seattle.
Well, this was not it. I never had orange slices come on top. Had 3, maybe 4, really small shrimp. Like 1" size. Might have been a scallop that was cut up into tiny pieces.
No clams, no fish, no nothing!
The worst part it was in this orange citrus sauce. Considering this was their most expensive dinner. I'm sorry, but it sucked !
As far as the response from the owner
Goes. We went last summer. Yes it was your restaurant. I recognized you when u came out dressed like a chef. Went 2 your Mexican restaurant down the block a couple times. 1st time was OK, 2nd sucked.
Seems to be a trend!

The pizza was burnt on the bottom. The Fruta Del Mar was watered down. It tasted like the seafood was boiled , unsalted, and then thrown on the fettuccine water and all. The chicken on top of the noodles in the chicken bianco was cold. The veal with piccata sauce was delicious, but the spaghetti under it was tasteless. The spaghetti and meatballs were good. The artichoke dip was good. With four of us drinking cokes and our tasteless meals , the 200.00 dollar bill was expensive. We did have a good waiter.

Growing up, the original Villagio’s was always a special dinner during our annual summer trip to Door County. Now with my own family in tow, I was excited to learn that after a hiatus, Villagio’s has been reincarnated as an Italian steakhouse.

We walked in on a whim, and staff were very accommodating. We were met with outstanding service from start to finish, both from our waitress Liz and the manager.

The vibe is more upscale than the original Villagio’s but not stuffy or snobby. Cocktails were superb. The menu is fairly extensive, and everyone enjoyed the food. We sat outside- the patio was lovely. The dining room and bar looked nice as well.

Definitely looking forward to making this an annual Door County dinner!

We are definitely going back to try other menu options they offer.

I so wanted to love this restaurant and I just didn’t! My husband had the veal piccata and it was so overcooked and tough. The vege side was unappealing and the garlic mashed potatoes were dry. I had the fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and scallops. The sauce was very good and the shrimp were large and tasted okay but they were boiled and I really expected grilled. I’m not sure there were even any scallops in there as there were nibbles of some kind of seafood but they didn’t resemble scallops. We had gotten drinks at the bar when we were waiting but I could have used another glass of wine with dinner and our waitress never asked us if we wanted anything else to drink. Also, they bring you the drink and appetizer menus first and want you to order off those before you get the dinner menu. That seemed odd to me, because I make my decisions based on what I’m going to have for dinner. They DO NOT substitute anything on their menu which leads me to believe the stuff is premade. For a high end restaurant it was very disappointing. Save your money and go elsewhere!

My husband and I visited after a busy week in the hopes of having a laid back evening. It was our first visit and it will not be our last.

From the moment we walked in the door, it was obvious that the entire staff cared about our experience. Every employee we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and professional. We had a reservation, but we were very happy to be able to take our time to have a drink at the bar first. The wine was excellent and my husband had a very good Old Fashioned. We appreciated the fact that, throughout the evening, we never once felt rushed.

Our server was a young gentleman who mentioned it was only his second day. He didn't miss a beat and timed everything perfectly. Each dish we ordered was excellent and presented beautifully. The mushroom appetizer was very flavorful. We both had steaks and they were well-seasoned, tender and cooked to perfection. Our drinks never ran dry during dinner. We didn't have room for dessert, so we each had a cup of coffee, and even that was good enough to mention here.

We had a lovely evening at Villaggios and appreciated everyone working there to provide impeccable service. We will be back.

Food was 'just okay', service was terrible. We had a 7PM reservation. When we were seated there were wine and cocktail menus on the table but not dinner menus. We were told by the hostess that our server would bring the menus to the table. As we sat for over 10 minutes bussing staff walked around the restaurant area staring at us but never brought water or menus. Finally as we were actively getting up to leave water was placed on our table. We decided to stay but had to wait another 7 minutes for menus. When we ordered it took ten minutes to get the salad and drinks [not too bad but on the long side]. You must order bread if you want it at the table and it is a pricey item and very large so we passed. The '8 ounce' filet was more like a 6 ounce, definitely not 8. The pasta angellina was good but the roasted chicken was dry. Overall we found the experience to be subpar and won't return.

Appetizer was under cooked, salad had way too much dressing on it and we asked for it to be on the side, which it wasn’t. Alfredo had no taste. Sent back and it came out with a 1b of garlic on it. Vile dish was good however. Our server was very new and didn’t know the menu. Upon going to table we were presented with a craft of water but cups were empty. Took over 15 minutes to get menus. The busser was very attentive, and a hard worker. The MOD was very quick to just remove items from the bill instead of addressing the problem. We were very disappointed, we hope they do better. Server wanted to box our food up although we were still eating. Altogether not a good experience- tables way to close together.

Loved the atmosphere. The hosts and servers were friendly.
Upon being seated we were given menus for Wine, beer and appetizers. After ordering our wines we were then given the main menu. Most items are ala carte. Bread only is served with the pasta items. There are a lot of choices. My three friends ordered the Fettucini Alfredo. One had the add on of chicken. One with sausage and one with vegetables. These were all at add on prices. The sausage was a bit spicy. Everyone agreed the Alfredo sauce was excellent. The vegetables were beats, cauliflower and squash.
I had the lasagna and when it came it looked like a hot mess.
There were no layers and I found one small pepperoni and no meat sauce. I did find a huge basil stem in it, which they appologized for. There were a lot of vegetables, but most were crunchy and under cooked. So, I was very disappointed in my dish and cannot recommend it. But, 3 out of four were a success. I will definitely come back and try a different dish next time. There were a lot of interesting menu items to try.

You must visit this new gem in Egg Harbor! I had the petit filet and it was grilled to perfection! My wife had the lasagna which was also top-notch. Wait staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The only downside, from my perspective is the tables are a little closer together than I would like, but they're going to need all the seating space they can get, I'm sure!
