Yummy coffee on tap for self serve and the deli items are always a great quick option. For the coffee I put a little bit of oat milk in the 8 oz cup followed by the darkest roast they had. For the deli, I had a chicken salad. I forget exactly what it was, but it had grapes in it with a creamy sauce. Hit the spot.

Such a lovely community resource in one of the most beautiful parts of the State! SO many local products from area farmers and makers, excellent deli/hot bar/salad bar, delicious sushi, and a gorgeous outdoor seating area (indoor too for those that prefer it)! Always stop here when in the area. :)

Ordered catering from deli here for a medical office while traveling for work and had some serious allergies nasal stuff going on. The supplement lady recommended something and I was skeptical it would help me feel better quickly but it did! Also the ham and cheese croissant was delicious and I can’t wait to go back to Ver-o-kwoh!

This is a mockery of food co ops. Rude vendors! Most had subpar selections at higher than could ever be expected. Food co+ops are a great service to a community, this one on the other hand is outrageous. Pretentious, bottom feeders taking advantage of a hard working community. VIROQUA WE DESERVE MORE/BETTER!

We have found over the last couple of months that the Deli is by far the best and most affordable place for lunch in Viroqua. Choices are increasing and quality is better than any restaurant in Viroqua. From made on premise soups, great deli sandwiches, pizza by the slice, salad bar, and now Shushi. Today Cate and I split the Kimchi Rueben, we also both had on made from scratch organic soups fora total of 10 bucks a piece. In the past we have had their grab and go hot entrees which are all creative and well prepared. Prices are much more reasonable than any restaurant in town including the fast food joints. We always leave totally satisfied. I suggest you give it a try. You’ll never eat fast food in town again.

ACE Sushi Bar has been added inside the Coop. The sushi is AMAZING!!!! Today was the first day and it’s so exciting to have this wonderful option in our town. We love sushi!♥️ We tried the California Crunch Roll and Tempura Crunch Roll! The best I’ve experience! Give it a try! I highly recommend.

They don't sell a huge variety of brands (including wine) but the stuff they do sell is good. The prices are very high but I suppose that's just how things are these days. I love their prepared food and their salad bar. I always take a loaf of bread home too. They have a nice little cafe area where you can sit and eat right away.

Okay, this place used to be a great place to grab food. Not cheap but worth it.
Not any more, it's gone to hell in a handbasket.
No food made to order, just what they call the hot bar, and what was there had obviously been there a while and looked disgusting.
One of the soups was empty, I raised it and assumed they would bring more out so we waited, turns out it takes 40 minutes to make soup.
Not that anyone bothered to tell us and as I pointed out, I don't work there so how would I know?
I know what the response is going to be, they are understaffed and can't help it, they are doing their best.
Well, I'm not buying that. They looked like they had plenty of staff, they just didn't appear to be doing a great deal.
And even if they are understaffed, that doesn't excuse the dried up food on the hot bar or the soup running out.
If it's what you are doing due to the circumstances then do it well.
It was lunch time, you should keep an eye on the soup and start making it when you start to get low so you don't run out, particularly if it takes 40 minutes to make.
And the total inability to communicate what is happening has nothing at all to do with being short staffed.
Absolutely pointless going there.

Visited from out of town as it is our habit when traveling to cook in so that we can eat high quality whole foods. The sourcing here is exceptional. Lots of local products and the quality was very good. It ends there. Coop people (customers and staff both) have this arrogant sense of entitlement that is an absolute turn off. From the Karen pushing to get her bunch of radishes to the stocker who would not stop for 5 seconds so I could get a box of pasta, this place reeked of it. I don't understand why this is, but after this experience I no longer care. I don't belong here. That's clear.

Fantastic food co-op. Beautifully renovated facility with great selection and a very helpful staff.

Really disappointed on last 2 visits as store has really scaled back. No burrito bar(was SO popular) and coffee bar hours are very inconsistent. Lunch bar was depleted at 12:30 pm one visit and the remains were unappetizing. Few baked items. Seems they simply are no longer staffed adequately.

It's a clean store with very nice looking produce. For a co-op, they certainly don't carry a lot of vegetables or local meat though. Sure, there's some but not what one might expect. The vast majority of the store is dedicated to processed junk and faux eco friendly garbage. Prices are high, which is fair on some products, but not others. Also, how does a store that smells so much like curry not sell plain garam masala? I want to love it but I can't.
Update: Found garam masala there at last. Credit where credit is due. Not changing my star rating because it cost me 25 dollars to make creamed spinach with mushrooms.

Great little grocer in the heart of town with excellent lunch and early dinner eating options for travelers such as ourselves. My wife and I bought some made-to-order hot sandwiches and grabbed a few icy beverages from the wide selection of singles available for dine-in or grab-and-go. We ate in the cozy little cafe seating area in the front. Will be back next time we pass thru for driftless fishing and/or the Renn Faires held further north...

I found organic, locally grown apples there that actually have healthy, viable seeds in them!!! Thank you to the manager lady and employee who were very patient with me throughout the process of my asking them to cut produce open in order to prove to me that the local fruits they were selling were not sterile!

I do need to tell them though, that the figs which I bought from there - had barely any seeds in them! Please get hold of the company growing and selling them and/or any of the other seedless foods and hold them accountable!

This is not a problem to ignore or to continue to perpetuate because you might lose money if you do not sell their foods which are unfit for consumption no matter how awesome they may taste!

People! Check your produce!!! I have found totally and/or almost completely seedless 🍎 Apples, bananas, cucumbers, 🍐 pears, grapes, oranges, grapefruit, lemons, persimmons, and even figs and tomatoes labeled organic! Seedless watermelon, navel oranges, grapes, bananas etc, etc, are not health foods!!! Anyone who is selling these sterilized fruits regardless of the mass sterilization they are causing in both humans and animals are committing unprecedented crimes against humans and nature itself!!!

Please have your grocers cut open these things before you buy them and do not buy them if the seeds are flat, tiny, and clearly impossible to grow!!! We need to hold anyone growing and anyone selling these items accountable for participating in this mass sterilization of nature which they are part and parcel in perpetuating!!! If we do not pull together and demand that this stop and hold perpetuaters accountable for this we might as well kiss our future beloved generations goodbye!!!
