We went for a car show on Sunday. The show was 11:00 to 2:00 pm. At 10:45 six of us went to the dining room. Ordered food and drinks. Drinks came in about 10 minutes. At 1:45 we had not received our food. We canceled our food order. Payed the drink bill tipped the waitress (not her fault). And was left. Yes it was busy. But not that busy. I mean a couple of us ordered the meatloaf. Don't you think meatloaf is prepared a little a head of time. Sorry not going back.

I came by with my girlfriend last night around 6:45pm for dinner. The patio was busy as per the usual and there were several tables inside. We found a patio table and waited for our server to get to us. It looked like she was the only server so we were patient. We had our drinks and food order in by 7pm. We ordered a burger and a chopped cheese sandwich. Around 8pm we still didn't have our food, and had long finished our drinks without a check in from any staff. We saw a couple that came in after us walk away with their leftovers and were confused why we still hadn't been served. We walked to the server and asked for our food to be packed to-go since it was getting chilly out and we had waited so long. Our server looked surprised and said she would check on the food. It was 15-20 more minutes until we received our food and bill.

Almost 1.5 hours for a burger and sandwich on a Sunday night. Full bill, no comps for waiting so long with no service after ordering. As a long-time service industry worker, I was surprised. We asked why the food took so long, we were told it was because it was busy (which it was for one server, but it seemed like the usual amount of people dining for a Sunday night here) and there was a private party in the back room- like it was our fault for not knowing that. I understand how being short staffed and having long wait times on food can happen, but this was ridiculous since we had a small, quick order. And not having anything comped on our bill was a surprise, since that is the standard for when a restaurant fumbles their hospitality so substantially like this. I would wager our food order was either lost in the back, or not sent by mistake.

My son and I stopped here on Sunday for an early dinner. They were out of wings, which was crappy. But we each got the chicken tender meal with french fry. The French frys were way overcooked. We got a 2 seat table out on the patio. There was no wait for seating. Also very busy there but we were served our food in a normal time frame. Overall it was a good time and atmosphere.

Our breakfast was delicious. The bartender was really friendly and service was great. My only complaint would be that it took a long time to get our food. Not a huge deal as we enjoyed our screwdrivers and bloody Mary's but it did take quite a while. I'm sure it's staffing issues like anywhere else. I'd go back!

We stopped in with friends. Beautiful property and eating on the deck was wonderful. Jason was a good server. He had a lot of tables to service. We started with drinks, cheese curds and walleye fingers. The bonus was the wonderful fries. We had grilled club sandwich served with homemade chips and shrimp tacos. Chicken was dry and overcooked, including the french fries. Server was present to take a drink order, deliver drinks and take food order at the same time, delivered food, and that is it. No refills on drinks, no asking how food is/was. Waited 20 minutes past choking down food for the bill, while trying to request the bill. Tried to tell server about food and received a "sorry." I'm kind of over bad service and bad food, with jacked up prices and built in tipping at flat rates.

We thought we’d give this restaurant another try, since we do like the atmosphere, but the Valentine dinner we attended a couple years ago was very understaffed and extremely slow! Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed on Sat night when we brought 1st time guests!! The restaurant waitstaff was understaffed by half. While I understand this, we thought the meal would compensate for short staff. The kitchen provided mediocre food, at best. My veggies were 1/2 cooked, still hard and served cold. The salmon was dry and the glaze was unnoticeable or forgotten and also cold. My additional vegetable was also missing. My husband’s prime rib was cold and served w/o au jus, which came 1/2 hour after his meal was served, and his salad was completely forgotten-we ended up taking it to-go. Service is incredibly slow and there was no greeter/host at the door to even seat us, so we wandered around for 10 minutes waiting to sit at the several unoccupied tables. C’mon-you could at least have a sign stating, “seat yourself.” Very awkward! If service is this bad, and so understaffed, it would be better not to even open. We will not be coming back.

Been a regular visitor to the area since 1970 and have not frequented Voyager Village thinking only of golf. My mistake, the bar and restaurant are super nice and food is great. Plenty of parking, staff are friendly. Love the TV's for watching sports. The Friday night fish fry is the best. I'll be back.

Was there Friday night and had the fish. It was nothing like I have had in the past. They sent out the executive chef and when I was asking about the fish he stated yelling at me and telling me I did not know what I was talking about. The fish looked like and tasted like the frozen triangle fish you get at a fast food restaurant. The fish the other times we were there was amazing. I had to tell him that I wanted something else and he got very upset and yelled what do you want.

As a member of the Voyager Village Community and have been a member for over 25 years, this type of treatment is uncalled for as a matter of fact it is uncalled for anyone to be treated this way. I really hope the manager will have a discussion with his chef.

Don't order the fish tacos... (See photo) it was as though they made fish for someone else and scraped the pan for leftovers. All the tacos were this way. Cabbage looked like it was cut about a week ago. Wasabi aioli was very overpowering.

An oasis for the avid aviator/golfer. I stumbled onto this pilot putters paradise. Well, sort of. It IS in a secluded area of Wisconsin. I seek out these hidden gems lying deep off the beaten path. I struck gold!

Although I wasn't trying to cure any sort of ailment, I did order the Hangover Burger with a Runway Ale. Ok, more than one Runway Ale... Service was quick. Everything was delicious and easy on the pocketbook. Great atmosphere, spacious dining area and excellent views of the runway. Now on my top 10 list of favorite $100 Hamburger destinations.

When you pay 62 for golf you don't expect to have your carts run out of gas. Hole number 10 must have had 100 range halls all over the hole. The course is in great shape n we do enjoy playing.
