We order fish and chicken tacos with corn tortillas, the chef didn't cook the corn tortillas just took them out of the package and assembled the tacos Rookie mistake everyone knows you must flash fry the corn tortillas or else they will crumb and fall apart. The chicken was also over cooked and dry. Pico was flavorless as well no season was added at all not even salt and pepper.Disappointing.

Vudu? Shares doorfront with the local bakery. They might have the witches kettle in the back of the house because the food was magical. Vudu's menu is uniquely different than typical small-town american competitors. Our first time at Vudu, a loaded nacho, chicken taco, and a Cuban pulled pork sandwich that I assume uses the baker's fresh bun. The combination definitely put a spell on me. Guaranteed to visit Vudu again... soon. Kudos to an outstanding server, I forgot her name, but if you experience a fun, Vudu knowledgeable gal that had answers to all of my curiosity. My bad for not remembering her name, a unique one it is.

Tried for the first time today. Walked in and it smelled great! Granted it was a slower day with no other customers and close to closing time on a Wednesday, but our order was ready quick and tasted good! We had a rice bowl with fish, pulled pork on pretzel bun, and loaded fries. Overall it was good! The pork and bbq could use just a little more flavor not everything else was satisfactory. We’ll definitely go back to try some other menu items next time. Although not super out-of-this-world it was nice to try something new today and it really hit the spot for lunch!

This was sub par to say the least. The girl working at the front didn’t know any answers about questions on the menu. The smoke inside was so unbelievably heavy my eyes were burning and I smell like a grease fire now that we left. I asked the employee if they had an exhaust fan and she looked at me like I had 12 heads. The smoke never cleared and just got worse which tells me they don’t clean their equipment properly. Which isn’t surprising considering the floors were disgusting and sticky. There was food, crumbs, and dirt on the floor around the base borders in their entire restaurant. The best thing was the fries and the bread. My husband got the pork tacos and said it was the most disappointing meal he has had in years. The entire experience just said that they don’t care about what they’re serving or their restaurant.

Came here on a Friday night for the lobster rolls; which were decent. I didn’t expect the side of Mac and cheese to be a box of Kraft Mac-n-cheese. Why would this not be on this kids menu?? The server also brought out the Mac and cheese 5 minutes before the lobster rolls, which we didn’t ask for, Nor did we want that, especially after mentioning to the server that I hope the 5yo eats the lobster and not just the Mac-n-cheese. We ordered ahead for pickup on Friday night. Arrived for pickup and was told it’d be a few minutes. Didn’t end up with our food until over an hour past our pickup time. The restaurant was understaffed with just one cook. Would’ve been okay if we were told how long we’d be waiting. Expect long wait at peak hours until the staffing problem is fixed. The food is very good and I hope they get more staff soon.

My wife and I came to this place because it had great reviews and the food looked good. Looked good being the operative word. The mango pork tacos were cold, the meat was not seasoned at all. The Pico de Gallo had no jalapeños in it, or salt which makes the flavors blend together! The chips were unsalted and tasted old. The Mangos were not ripe and were paired with red and green bell pepper, which makes for an awful taste with the cold meat which lacked flavor.

Hello this is my review of Vudu Street Food I talk about my first three visits hope this helps you. So when I first went to Vudu I expected average food I had the fries and nachos the fries were crispy warm and amazing and the nachos were awesome the chips were nice and warm the cheese was perfect (note that it doesn't come with cheese that's just how I got it it normally comes with chips and homemade Vudu salsa) the second time I came with my dad we shared sweet chili cauliflower it was amazing the tempura batter was great and the Vudu sweet chili sauce is unbeaten I had the Macaroni was perfect there was just enough cheese it was perfectly warm and my dad had the pulled pork macker all he said is it's awesome and the third time everything was the same but my dad had the lobster rolls he said there delicious. So if your in town I recommend to stop in thanks for reading my review

What a deliciously different surprise to find on our road trip from MSP to Fam in NW WI! Right on 65 in the heart of New Richmond. My wife has tried lobster rolls all over the US and made 3 declarations. 1) This is one of the best lobster rolls I have ever had! 2) These fries are worth the calories. 3) We're coming back here next trip. I picked up my order, brought it home and to my dismay it was tacos. Not even lobster tacos but what looked the be beef or pork. I immediately called to let them know the mistake.
The woman who answered the phone apologized for the mix up and stated she would put in a replacement order right away. I drove down to pick up my order. To my dismay the woman had no recollection of the conversation I just had with her. She actually asked me if my order was under a different name! I had to explain the mistake 3 times before she seemed to understand. She put in the order, that apparently had not been placed yet. When she brought my replacement order she only had 1 and not 2 I had ordered. I then had to wait more time for my second order meanwhile my lobster roll remained on the counter while the fries cooled.
When I finally received my complete order there was no apology or offer to make amends.
Overall the food was good but the service or rather the lack therein left a bad taste in my mouth.

Omg what a gem!! May be my new favorite hole in the wall! Street food at its finest, everything was perfect! My mom stumbled upon this lil restaurant when the bistro down the street was not an option, and shes even dieing to bring me here since! Would highly recommend! It's my new reason to drive to Wisconsin!

Great start, good flavors but seriously shorted on the shrimp tacos. Few tweaks and it could be really fun place.

I think the place has great potential for amazing food however having un- experience and young staff they served burnt or under cooked food, and when we brought it to their attention again.. young and un- experienced staff merly apologize and walked away.... The food is not worth the price we spent over $50 for the meal for 3 people and only the kids meal was edible!
