The sushi rolls are fantastic, we got the Cali Crunch fried roll and the badger roll and both of them were amazing! These were new flavor combinations that I’d never seen before at a sushi place, really really good and quick service. Would totally recommend coming here and we will be back!

We were really disappointed with our visit to Wasabi Sushi in Brookfield, Wisconsin, and unfortunately will not be returning. The soy sauce had an odd taste, and when we requested basic soy sauce, the staff informed us that they don’t offer it and instead mix theirs with something else.

Otoro was listed on the Special board with a specific price, but when we asked about availability, our server wasn’t sure if they actually had any — apparently the listing is “always up there,” which was confusing and unhelpful.

Overall, both the food and the service fell well below expectations. After a lackluster experience, we decided to leave and dine at another restaurant nearby.

They also didn’t mention they weren’t serving eggs in the ramen that was ordered and the piece of salmon for the bento box was paper thin. This was our first experience at this establishment, and I was hesitant to try some of the menu items just because of not being familiar with many of the foods, terms, and ingredients. I did look them up as I was considering what to order, and the waitress was helpful as well. Our appetizer (ordered before we ordered our meal) came immediately after we place our main order, and our initial soup and salad came only a few minutes after that. My meal came in a hot stone bowl which literally continued to cook the meal as I ate, so not one single bite was less than freshly hot. Perfect service and exceedingly wonderful food.

I’ve been to Wasabi multiple times at both locations. This time I was appalled at how run down the restaurant has become. Walking in the door, the floor buckles underneath your feet. It feels like this in multiple places and it’s very disconcerting to walk on. There were crumbs all over the floor and the women’s bathroom mirror was cracked straight down the middle. The bar top is apparently used to store various supplies along with the floor and all corners of the restaurant.
Having been to the previous location, which was immaculate, organized, and a popular place to eat, this place was the opposite.
Our waitress was wonderful and the sushi chefs were great however, that is not enough for me to come back. There are plenty of other sushi restaurants nearby.

The food remains excellent but the service continues to go downhill. Not a hello or welcome from the person that sat us or the waitress. The floor was filthy which was surprising because it was 11:30 in the morning. Obviously not cleaned from the night before. The waitress's shoes kept sticking to the floor. Not like they were busy. Only 3 tables being used. On our way out the guy at the front desk just gave us a blank stare. Not a goodbye or thanks for coming. Like we bothered them being there. Wow I really liked this place would recommend.
I’ll start off with the food. I really enjoyed the appetizers that were given for the kitchen entrees. The miso soup was delicious and warm. The salad was also a favorite. The presentation was super nice and the mayo or dressing tasted really good. I also like the toppings on the salad as they added a nice crunch.
For the meals salmon terriyaki was definitely worth it omg it came in a bento box like thing the presentation was good. All the flavors were super yummy.
Next the kalbi this was really good beef Korean short ribs and it’s delicous. I enjoyed the cuts of meat I think a little bit more salt and it would be perfect. The sauce was super nice as it had a thick soy sauchish sweet flavor.
Next for the sushi the eel sushi was the favorite as it was fried around and had the best flavor. There was also a crab one but I think the eel one was better. The California roll was decent. There is a small amount of alcohol within the sushi if you weren’t aware but overall decent sushi.
Seating was nice in this mall location and our server was super kind.
Overall 5/5 would recommend

We walked in and were greeted with a stare, we were then lead to a table that was just as sticky as the dirty floor. Our waitress was hardly friendly, and she slammed our drinks on the table. The Cali crunch had stale sweet potato chips on top, so not much of a crunch! The Oh My God had very little eel sauce and tasted sour and the sweet potato roll smelled rather fishes. We got the bill and our waitress sat down and took forever to get to us. We had to stand up to get her attention.
Overall I am very disappointed, I have been a long time customer, and tonight will be my last visit!!

Took the family for dinner. Between the four of us we had Yakisoba noodles, kalbi, bulgogi, and chicken katsu.

Food was really good with just a few exceptions. Portions for the kalbi and bulgogi were small. The shaved beef used to make the bulgogi was so thin that the sweet sauce was all you really tasted, not the beef.

Our biggest complaint was that they had the doors that led into the mall wide open. Wasabi is at the entrance to the mall and a lot of cold air was coming in. Had my jacket on entire meal. A lot of others in other booths did the same.

My favorite sushi place in the SE Wisco area! This was the first place that I have had "real" sushi and I keep going back. The rolls are generous in size, and very filling. We ate there for dinner yesterday. My husband’s spring roll was ok but rather oversized. It was edible. My GF shrimp fried rice was sadly the worst I’ve ever been served. Not only was there no flavor, the rice wasn’t cooked!!! It was crunchy!!!! I mean how to you mess up fried rice!!! I walked towards the back of the restaurant where all employees were and was told to head to the front.i was standing there for awhile before deciding to walk to the back. We have been dining regularly at Wasabi for years, it is on our list of favorite restaurants in the Milwaukee area.

The food is very fresh and the portion sizes are incredible, not like other places where portions are small.
The Wasabi roll is still the best ever, but they are all great, you can't go wrong.

The service was and is very thoughtful and awesome. the receptionist actually came to find us in the mall to tell us our table was ready and Nathan our server was great!! You could tell he was new and being coached, but really did a good job of respecting our need for privacy while being very attentive. I've read some reviews where unreasonably picky and rude customers made some comments about service, you know these people .... very very needy, unreasonable and negative. I can tell you the service at Wasabi has always been first rate, as good as any 5 star or Michelin star restaurant in any country we dinned at.

The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because of the Lobster Cigars. Three of the four rolls didn't have all the ingredients listed in the description and none of them looked appetizing and it smelled a little weird. Pretty good sashimi. The udon noodles are good as well. Only thing would be that they should warn customers of wet floors as I almost fell.

Came here for sushi and sashimi with our friends for the first time. We had the Fire Cracker and Flaming Dragon off the Flaming Roll list which was a cool experience. They have numerous other non sushi food items on the list that I will surely come back to try! Overall the service was good and food was delicious.
