Nice location and clean restaurant. Wrong order of food was served, when correct order was worked out it was way over seasoned. Waitress did not regularly check in and refill drinks. A coffee was ordered and sugar was asked for multiple times, finally when a bowl with sugar was brought out only 3 sugars were in it. Would not recommend. Travel a bit further to Centerville and get some decent food and helpful wait staff.

Stopped in on a Friday night and they were not very busy, immediate seating. That should have been a sign.
Ordered a Brandy old fashioned might as well have been a colored glass of sprite. Second drink I decided to take the chance out of it and ordered the Chambourcin wine that was allegedly from Elmaro vineyards. I am a big fan of this wine and I am not sure what they served me but it was absolutely not the Chambourcin from Elmaro.
My companion ordered the blacked steak tips medium and they were way overdone. I had the chicken breast Cajun style, the flavor wasn't too bad but they were very dry.
My side of hash hash browns were undercooked. Her baked potato was way overcooked.
The salad bar has a very limited selection but the salad, that I made, was the highlight of our visit.

Food was not worth the money. Salad bar was skimpy. I ordered beef tips and shrimp. No flavor. Shrimp was gross and rubberized. Augratins were hash browns with cheese.
Staff was fast & friendly! Carpet needs to be replaced so old it gives a musty smell to the restaurant!

It's a good value for the money, but not as good as it once was! The salad bar is a shadow of what it was the last time I went, and a bowl of lettuce with some carrots and thinly cut radishes was flanked with a huge bowl of diced tomatoes, a huge bowl of diced onions, and something else... maybe croutons... and three dressings-no 1,000 Island, but blue cheese, Russian or French, and one more. Alongside the salad was cottage cheese, potato salad, and coleslaw. The Polish Dumpling Soup was lukewarm and seemed watered down, but I don't recall trying it in the past, so I have no frame of reference. Finally the rolls were fine, but were cold and seemed like an older batch. The tips looked different, but no one complained. The fried shrimp and cod were hot and crispy, and the grilled cod was tasty. Saddest were the potato sides; the au gratin were a variation that didn't do justice, and the hash browns could have been so much better with some seasoning and a bit more of a cook. The servers are nice and efficient.

I like this place and it was very nice, however it took about like 5 minutes or something for somone to come and order the food. I had the chicken dummies and fries and they were good. This wouldn't be a place that I wouldn't really go everyday but it's an ok place

I was very disappointed in the chicken cordon bleu. It was a chicken breast covered with a piece of ham and cheese on top... very sad looking and not at all what cordon bleu is. I would not recommend ordering this at all. The Au Gratin potatoes were okay, although I was expecting the potatoes to be in slices not shredded like hash browns. Old fashions were good.

Nice little place
Ribeyes cooked the way we requested (medium rate), Au Jus was good
Salad bar was small but we appreciate when there even is one.
Was hoping for a more supper club appeal with drink menu.
Prices are good though.
It was not bad but just not the wow we were hoping for - but then again covid killed a lot for the restaurant industry in my opinion.

Well we got there a little late we intended to eat in but didn't want to wait to be seated so we ordered it to go they were very nice let us grab salad bar to go with are fish dinners only took about 10 -15 minutes to get ate take out and we were on are way home 5 min drive away ❤️

Cute, old fashioned inside/decor. Bar seemed okay but dining room was dead. Our waitress was timely, but far from friendly.. she's clearly very sick of serving. We received a paper menu with half as many items as listed online, and no specials. No drink/cocktail menu or recommendations, but the old fashioneds we ordered were good. Salad bar was included with our meals, but only had lettuce, dressing, croutons, and cottage cheese, no additional toppings or soup.
The main entrees we ordered were delicious and large portions, saving this from being a "bad" experience. Our group really enjoyed the ribeye, chicken alfredo, tender tips, and chicken cordon bleu! "Au gratin" potatoes were overcooked cheesey hashbrowns - baked potato and regular hashbrowns were good. Prices were fine.
I can't say we'll be rushing back, but I would maybe get takeout food if in the area.

I’ve been going to Wasons for years. It has been awhile since I visited. What happened to the salad bar??? Lettuce, two dressings, onion( watery) tomato, cottage cheese, cheese, coleslaw, one soup. I was so disappointed. I was looking forward to a great salad before dinner.
The Friday fish and shrimp were very tasty. I just expected more from the salad bar.

I hadn't been to Wason's since after the pandemic in 2020. They were okay then. Now I don't think I'm going there again. My tenderloin tips were dry my au gratin potatoes were like hash browns with cheese on them and dry the mushrooms you could tell were canned they weren't cooked enough and neither were the onions on top of the tenderloin tips the salad bar was very scarce. I went there for prime rib and they were out at 6:30 and I believe they stay open till 8:00. The cook back there has got to step up his game they're not open for that long of a time so you can't tell me he was tired. I cooked for 30 some odd years I've never made a meal that horrible.

Checked their website and found my favorite meal (walleye pike) on their nightly specials. When I got to the restaurant, all they gave me was a cheap paper menu, no nightly specials. The food was good but a bit pricey for my budget. Also, there were only 3 tables of diners, including mine, yet they put us all in a cramped corner but had ample room to space us out. Not comfortable.

We were there as a party of 6. Three of us had excellent prime rib the other 3 had absolutely fantastic ribeye steaks done to perfection! Our waitress was a delight and very attentive. It's been our mistake to have stayed away so long. We will be back. Oh, and Frank called back to confirm our reservation and made us excited to head your way!

This was a trip back in time. Turn left into the bar and a “Home of the Redmen” sign was proudly on display. A generic iceberg salad bar, stale bread, underseasoned cod fish fry, “au gratin” potatoes that tasted like reheated frozen hashbrowns with a cheese sauce, and in general a vibe of a supper club that hasn’t changed / updated their food or attitude at all. The server didn’t offer a drink or dessert menu or discuss specials, though others did around us. There are other better “classic” supper clubs in the area.

The food is mediocre at best. The interior needs updating, everything was old and musty. The service was good though the people were nice. The food was very bland. None of the food had much flavor at all, the tenderloin tips were very tender but the mushrooms and meat tasted like nothing. The batter fried shrimp and cheese curds tasted fine but they were way to greasy, like they were just soaking in oil for a long time. The au gratin potatoes tasted pretty good but undercooked. Overall it wasn't terrible it just could be much better

Small town atmosphere. Food and service were great. Not to mention the Thursday special, blackened tips are mouthwatering and delicious. Chances are you will have plenty leftover for the next day. And if it's your birthday the mini cake is excellent. Made by a a local cake maker. Well worth the drive.
