Burger had great flavor but was under cooked. Waiter did not ask how I’d like it cooked. He also didn’t know what a beer flight was when I asked. After I explained what it was then he understood what I was wanting to order.
I had my dog with me and they were very nice about the pup. They have a separate entrance to the patio for dogs to get back there. Although when they brought out water for the dog they brought a tin foil to go box for the water bowl and it kept blowing away. So if you have a dog I recommend bringing your own bowl for water.
There was poison ivy growing up the deck railing by the tables which wasn’t great. And it was very windy so pollen and cotton blooms kept falling in my beer. The table was not sitting level so when I leaned on the table to grab a beer the table shifted and dumped two of the samples all over me. Not ideal for sure. If you are sitting on the patio the highway is right next to you as well so a little loud.
Good beer variety overall though. And French fries were great.
Over all I think the place is good but could use some adjustment for sure.

After two visits, I'm finally getting to my review! Hands down, great both times! First experience was a Friday night and Linds W was our server. Wasn't too busy, as we stopped in for dinner on our way to the Brewer game 9/12....ordered the cauliflower and southwest wrap. Was so good! Was also offered beer tastings....I believe you get 3, but I tried only 2. Both choices were good; Pumpkin & a Hawaii one. Enjoyed the visit so much, I stopped again last night, Friday 9/19. This time it was busy, but we only waited for a table for maybe 15 minutes. During that time, we were able to sit at the bar.....ordered an espresso martini and they nailed it! For dinner, ordered the parmesan crusted salmon; and it was amazing! Waiting time was not long either from when we placed our order to when we received it. For this visit, Charlie was our server, and he, as well, did a great job! This place has definitely made a mark on my radar, and will continue to make the trip to stop in! (About 35 minutes, so not too bad.) Great job Waterstreet....keep up the good work! Oh! And there is a gluten free menu available!!

Experience almost identical to a reviewer’s a few weeks ago. Sticky tables for sure. The hostess greeted us with absolutely no facial expression. Just read an article on Gen Z behavior and she fit the bill to a t. A different person on the way out basically the same attitude. Food was ok, really just bar food. Also, the menus could be “refreshed”. Grease spots ALL over them. Really grimy looking which, unfortunately, was off putting.

Have been here 3 times while visiting from out of town. Last visit was 7-30-2025 for lunch. The gal at the hostess desk didnt even acknowledge me, just looked at me.. so I asked if she had a table for 1. My server Ashley was great! I ordered a salad which was also great. Each time I have been here, I have noticed that the tables all feel sticky to the touch not exactly sure what that is. As i was leaving, I made it a point to to smile and say " thanks and have a good afternoon to the hostess" once again she did not seem interested in her job which is "hospitality and customer service" I will still come back next year because the food is usually good.

We had a great experience here. The only issue we found was that they allow dogs. This by itself is ok if those that bring the dogs can control the dogs. It was nice outside and a table had 2 small dogs locked up inside of what I can only explain as a kids walker and was barking uncontrollably as soon as we walked out to be seated. We immediately turned around and went inside, who wants to be sitting outside with dogs barking at you? If this is the norm I can not see going back due to this. If we want to sit outside and eat a meal we should not be subjected to someone else's dogs. This is bad policy, and maybe it is not a big deal for most but I can not see how this is considered a good choice for everyone. Your dogs do not belong at a restaurant that is like this if you can not control them.

So we got there at 730pm and found parking right away. Walked in as a table of 3 and was seated right away. Told the waitress that it would be two separate bills and ordered drinks. When drinks came, I was missing an order of drinks and had to try and get their attention that we needed the drinks. Ordered right when drinks came. Food took an hour to get or more. Was just about ready to walk out when food came and was after we asked how long and was told about 5 minutes but was close to 10 to 15. Frys were not very warm on the wife's plate, and half my chips looked burnt. Frys on the other plate were cold. Asked for extra cheese on one burger but was not on it. When the bill came, I had to tell the waitress that we told you we wanted separate bills. We left at 900pm. I may never go back.

I've been twice on a Friday for the Wisconsin fish fry. Which I obviously enjoyed. Except for the coleslaw. That was gross. The parking lot was almost full but seating was easy. Service was good. Food is good. I don't know if I really liked it enough for 5 stars but the locals seem to love it.

Emily, Haley, and the entire team made our group of 37 feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. The service was seamless, the food was fantastic, and the hospitality was top-notch. Terrific atmosphere in a microbrewery setting. The microbrew adds to the rustic charm of the place. Open, tall ceilings, plenty of beams and attractive wood headers and posts and separate spacious dining areas. A guest is welcomed by a collection of serving trays featuring companies long gone. Lots of beers to choose from. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of the meals served. Fried cod and grilled salmon were my wife and my choices. Our guests selected burrata salad, seafood chowder, and short rib panini. Prices were very reasonable for the meals we chose. Server Aizak was excellent too. All in all, a surprisingly enjoyable experience.

We just had our 50th anniversary party in one of their rooms and it was a huge success. Emily was outstanding to work with for making the arrangements, and our servers were extremely attentive,efficient and friendly. What a disappointment. For years I've been wanting to stop at Water Street Brewery in Grafton as I've passed by so many times going north on 43. Stopped by one evening around 8pm. The restaurant was not busy as we walked in and were seated immediately. Initially the greeting and order taking went well. Everything went south from there. Excessive wait for food. Ordered a Reuben sandwich which was soggy and cold, as were the sweet potato fries. Avoid the Reuben sandwich at all costs, Water Street doesn't know what they are doing with a Reuben. I should have stuck with a burger. My wife ordered a crispy chicken wrap, which was also cold and soggy. We saw our server only once after the initial order taking. Server 3660, McKenna, never came by to ask how everything was going, was missing in action when it came to giving us the check, and strangely asked if we wanted dessert as we were walking towards the hostess station. No apologies, acted as if her level of service was normal. The bill was $43, no alcoholic drinks were ordered. Will not be back and do not recommend this establishment for anything.

Friday nights are busy especially at 6pm. My boys and I stopped in to see how long the wait would be. We were greeted by smiling faces, welcoming personalities, and just genuinely positive people. The wait was going to be 15-20 min. I asked my boys how they felt and they were more than happy to wait. We were seated faster than expected and our server showed up with a beaming smile and engaging personality. My boys 11 and 16 enjoyed their Mama/Sons dinner out. They loved the service, atmosphere, food and mentioned they were happy we chose to eat here.

My oldest loved the service. His words...everyone was kind. He said he was complimented and he knows its wasn't necessary but so appreciated. His needs were anticipated, the environment was fun. Even though it was busy he felt like we were treated like we were the only table in the room. Props to the entire team and their service.

First, the service was outstanding. The hostess was efficient and our server was both friendly and knowledgeable. Clearly, this is not a restaurant for vegetarians or vegans. The one main dish, a quinoa bowl is not vegan. We called ahead to see if they could prepare without butter. There are salad choices, but it would be nice to have a main course that isn't a salad. It is rare to find such enthusiastic service staff, but I would not return due to limited menu choices.

Water Street Brewery in Grafton was a fun stop for us. We were staying in the adjacent Hampton Inn for a pre-Thanksgiving getwawy and the Water Street Brewery is just a short walk away. This is big place, nice brew pub atmosphere and plenty of seating around the bar and in smaller, intimate dining areas around the centralized bar. We tried a couple of their in-house craft brews - a baltic porter and Irish Stout - both were excellent. Our server was energetic and efficient - always right there if we needed her. I had the Chicken Schnitzel sandwich on a pretzel bun and she had the lobster roll - both were excellent, filling and needed a "to go box" for the portions that we were unable to eat. Probably because I tried the Scotch Egg first - WOW - delicious and after dinner we couldn't resist trying the Deep fried Old Fashioned - DOUBLE WOW - I'd visit Water Street Brewery again just to have the Deep Fried Old Fashioned but quite frankly it was there genuine hospitality and delicious food that will bring us back on our next visit. Stop by the Water Street Brewery and give them a try, I know you'll enjoy your visit.

I've been to Water Street Brewery many times and always had a burger for a wrap. Great place and usually good food. I tried the Butcher's Steak last night and was very sadly disappointed. My jaw got a workout chewing meat that most butchera would have thrown away. I didn't have the heart to send it back but I really should have. There was NOTHING pleasing about this plate. At all.
Chicken: Not the traditional chicken fried breading. It's like they used the batter they use for their fish fry. Breading falling off the chicken, and was considerably over breaded as well. - 0/5 stars.
brew city mac and cheese: Soupy/watery cheese sauce, taste was ok, but the dish used to have their garlic mashed potatoes, which was so much more enjoyable with the chicken. - 1/5 stars
Bleu cheese slaw - I don't know what i was served, but it wasn't bleu cheese. it was some sour mix that looked it was a table spoon poured over the top of shredded cabbage. it almost tasted rancid. - 0/5 stars
buttermilk biscuit - small, thick and heavy. not a light airy appetizing biscuit by any stretch of anyone's imagination. Tried it with some butter and some of the 'demi-gravy' and it somehow became worse. 0/5 stars

Love their high backed booths. Allows for easy conversation.

Food was ok. Salmon blta, not blackened. Salmon was overcooked and dry. Bacon thick cut and overcooked, so it was very chewy. The chips are the root veggie ones, so enjoyed those. Maybe not blackening it threw off the cook for timing.

My friend was looking forward to a gluten free 🍔 ( celiac) burger. After surgery. She was hangry and somehow someone else got her order. They were gracious and remade her meal.

Loved the establishment. Our server was great.. the food is disappointing. The wings were tiny and dry. The brewtons were odd. One would think the chicken and cheese would be mixed together, but it wasn't. So you either got a bite of chicken or a bite of cheese. The fish fry was good, but the coleslaw was extremely dry, and the ultimate grilled cheese sandwich was missing all the cheese it was supposed to come with. The glass of wine was expensive for a very small poor. Overall prices are a bit high for what you get

Everything was excellent. My granddaughter loved it too. She's 16. We are new to the area and we are trying different restaurants.

This was our favorite place to eat traveling from northern Illinois to Door County. They have changed the menu several times over the last few years. After COVID I was not happy with the options. It is better now and I can once again recommend this place. Awesome beer choices. This was always true and still is. They have a points reward system that has saved us money.

This place is awesome!!! The beers are awesome, our service was awesome, and the food was just as good. I had the hazy, which was great and the American IPA, which was good and I tired the corn beer which our server said wasn’t popular and even up ordering one. I think it’s basically a sour beer, although the brew master apparently disagrees, but what does he know. 🤪🤪
