Our server, Kayla, was great! A real sweetheart. We've eaten the Waterfront many times, especially for Friday fish fry, and the food and service have always been great! My hubby got the potato, ham & leek soup and a cod sandwich. The soup was really delicious and was gone in a flash 😋 The sandwich had 4 chunks of fried cod on it. We were very surprised at the size of it. I got a burger with provolone cheese and was happy that they had gluten-free buns. That was the only gluten-free choice they did have for bread. They had salads and other items that didn't contain gluten.

Not quite on the water, the upstairs patio looks cool but wasn’t available when we were there. Food was definitely 5 stars. Prices are pretty fair overall. We didn’t have any drinks but they have an expansive menu. I’d go here everyday if it was actually on the water but sadly there’s a large house being built blocking the view of the water.

This is the second time that we've been here. Food was awesome. Love the grilled asparagus. Chicken French was absolutely delicious. Requested a change from garlic mashed potatoes to Rice which was a good idea the sauce was really yummy. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his pork tenderloin. Nice big pieces of tenderloin with a maple glaze and pears and pomegranate seed my old fashioned was delicious. A very generous pour. We stopped in later in the evening toward closing time and had excellent service and very good food. We will be back and highly recommend people trying it

Went to the Waterfront for lunch, but at an odd time (on a Sunday at 3:15 ish) and we got seated right away. Not crowded, a few tables filled and some folks at the bar. Their menu is varied, from salads, sandwiches and burgers to more creative entrees. Hubby ordered the walleye sandwich plate with fries and I ordered a burger w/ bacon & avocado with a side of homemade chips. Everything was very good, the walleye was perfectly done with the French roll toasted crisply. My burger was good as well (it could have used a bit more avocado) and the chips were crunchy & totally awesome. Both the hostess and server were quite friendly and helpful. (As an aside, the dining room was very cold.)

I was recommended this place by a front desk employee at Delavan Lake Resort. I literally just finished the tacos they serve for their taco special on Mondays. Ground beef, corn tortilla, salsa, onions, lime, the works that come with it. My god. They were some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. Whoever is back in that kitchen knows what they’re doing.

The bartender seems like a cool cat, knowledgeable of the area, gave me some really useful information on things in the county. The environment here is a wide open, upbeat, seemingly fun get-up. I’ll be returning to this place anytime I come back to Delavan. I’ll recommended it to anyone I come across that may ask.

We used to have dinner at the Waterfront a lot. The last two times the food wasn’t very good. The last time we went there was on New Year’s Eve and we decided we wouldn’t go for a while because the food wasn’t good.

My husband’s burger was dry like cardboard he said, he ordered it medium, but it was well done. The lobster bisque had one piece of lobster in it. The crab cakes that I ordered were very mushy. It didn’t look like they had been fried at all.

We used to really like their cheese curds, but they were very mushy and didn’t look like they fried them at all. When all 9 of us got our food it was cold, not warm at all. Most of the people in our party didn’t eat half of our food. It’s very unfortunate that the food wasn’t good because the service was great.

A bit of advice to your wait staff. When the customer requests a different table because of the very very cold draft sweeping the table they are sitting at, PLEASE do not argue with them and make excuses for why they can not have a different table especially when there were a minimum of 5 tables in view. I was literally told no we could not be re seated because it was a different waitresses area. I also explained that I would pay for the two drinks that we'd already had and take care of the waitress so we could move but was brushed off and told it didn't seem that cold, and they continued to argue. I found the waitress and the other waitress, rude and unaccommodating. Then to top it all off.The food was not very good.

YOU LOST OUR BUSINESS FOR LIFE. Drove 45 minutes to get there, Walked in at 7:40 on a Sunday (Google says you close at 9:00 BTW) stood at the host stand for at least 5 minutes as they were getting a table ready for a big party. No biggie, but as my girls thumbing through the menu, I'm already looking for another place to go because I have a feeling we're going to be here a while. Busy and appears way under staffed. I ask my girl, "Do you see anything you like?" She says yes... I'm thinking okay, we'll wait it out here and see. Waitress walks by us twice, no "we'll be right with you," nothing. Host comes back to seat the big party, still no greet, and we're clearly visible... but at least we're next. Host finally returns after yet another few minutes, walks up to us at 7:48, 72 minutes before close according to Google, and proceeds to inform us that are not taking anymore tables and they clise at 8:00. Im like, ok, well, it's 7:48??? All we get is a sorry we can't seat you. Needless to say, we will never return. That is completely unacceptable for any establishment. It would have been one thing if they would have said hey we're a little backed up it could be about an hour before you see food do you want to wait? I would have said thanks, but no thanks, and found something else. But to get shunned? GOODBYE!
So we went through Bigfoot on the way home and stopped at Bigfoot Inn. (15 minutes down the road) Excellent meal!!!! They say everything happens for a reason. It did tonight.

This restaurant is ACCESSIBLE. THE RAMP AND PARKING IS IN THE BACK. Not sure how easy it is to park any van over the size of the mini van. There was plenty of parking however.

I have only had their fall off the bone ribs here, 2 years in a row. I visit WI 1x a year. I order a full rack, and took half home. I was able to get about 5 meals from it. Shared with a 7 and 9 yo. Just think serving suggestion of 3oz of meat.

Service was very slow. Took quite a bit of time for attention to the table. Seemed understaffed, but what place isn't? Once we ordered drinks, that was pretty quick, but between, not so quick.

The 7 and 9 yo played darts while the adults chatted.

We were able to choose our seat. They have a little nook off the main seating area which wasn't air conditioned, but was still cool enough to sit there. In the nook you can see a part of the lake.

While there, there were two larger groups, maybe 6 people each when we walked in. They left maybe halfway through our visit.

We had to go get the servers attention to get, boxes, the bill and topay the bill.

If you're looking for prime rib this is not the place for it. This was the worst dining experience I ever had. First time in my life I never left a tip. Service was that bad. My wife ordered onions on top of her prime rib. She ended up getting onion rings instead. We have to hunt our waiter down to let him know that we want it mushrooms on mine. The prime was as tough as it came. No juice to dip our meat in. Instant mashed potatoes. Frozen broccoli as a side. With no bread on our table. All for $31 plus extras for the mushrooms. Let me put it this way. I had a hamburger for $5.75 at Chris's USA bar in Burlington. I enjoyed that way much better. I have to tell the bus boy that I needed my bill after waiting long enough for it. Sorry I took my wife out for an enjoyable evening there. They need a lot to learn about food service.

This is my favorite place to have a meal and a few drinks at the bar by myself but also my go to place for meet ups with friends or family. All of the bartenders are fantastic, table service can be hit or miss but most of the servers I’ve had are younger kids and seem to be learning which I don’t mind. Prices are very reasonable and food is appropriate quality for the price point which is getting harder to find now a days. I’ve noticed new staff lately and the quality and consistency of things improving so am hopeful that they will just keep getting better!

My son and I went there today right about noon. We sat right away as the place was almost empty when we got there. The waitress came over pretty quickly to get the order and get us drinks. Once we got the food it was a while before we seen her again. The Chicken wrap I got was pretty good, but my son was not to impressed with the Ruben. He said it was kind of dry and just was not impressive. The bill came out to 30.00 even so $15 a person seemed reasonable for lunch. It was quiet in there which worked for us since we get together to talk and we didn't have to yell over people or music.
I probably would go there again if in the area.

We were on vacation in August this year for my wife's birthday and our 4-year wedding anniversary. We decided to venture out and try a few new places, we were so glad when we stopped in at the Waterfront Pub and Grill!

We started off our evening and had a few drinks/cocktails and talked with some of the locals. Very friendly people in Delavan! The bartender and the staff were very helpful and a great bunch of people! After our drinks we started off with an appetizer of Wisconsin cheese curds and oh my the best DAMN cheese curds I've ever tasted in my life!
I highly recommend these!

Then for dinner, my wife and I split the full slab of ribs with a side order of coleslaw and onion rings. The ribs melted in your mouth fell right off the bone and the coleslaw and onion rings were on point! When we come back up next year we will definitely be stopping in to one of our new favorite places. The Waterfront Pub and Grill. If you're ever in Delavan definitely
stop in.

Ordered 1/2 nachos and Philly cheesesteak. The nachos came out and was stuck to the paper and could only eat half of the half order. The cheesesteak came out and it was dry and had to wait a long time to find our waitress to ask for au jois. I could understand it they were busy, but it was not.

Will not try here again.

Fish had bones in it and the nachos we ordered as an appetizer was just melted cheese on chips with a little pico de gayo that was thrown in a microwave. Not very impressed I probably won't be back again.
