Wow, what can i say! When I arrived on a sunday night, the place was packed. Lots of locals. The old fashions were were a great start while waiting at the bar🤪 Excelent salad bar with a very nice and fresh selection. I orderd the scalops with wild rice. Both were done to perfection and tasted great. I sampled both soups and would of loved to just have a couple of bowls but I was too full. If your in the area I would highly recomend to stop in!!! Then on top fo that $5.50 old fashions or if you get there early they are 2 for one. And $26 for dinner, wow.

I’ve been a loyal customer for 45 years, been going since I was a child, it happened , my first time ever getting horrible service!! Food was great except the chicken had a slight fish smell. We were in the first round of people in and was there through 2 full seating in the dining room. Waitress was annoyed when we asked for more bread and didn’t hang around long enough to hear about the chicken having a fish smell in the chicken parmigiana and when she dropped off the bill was indignant about saying something about it. Then told me the credit card machine was “down” but the ATM works. Never so disappointed in my life.

We drove by at 3:45 pm and were stunned to see cars already in the parking lot. (They don't open until 4:30). We turned around to wait it out. The line to get in began forming at about 3:50 at both doors.
After a 45 minutes wait to get in, more waiting was in store. Despite the fact we got in line prior to opening, we were the cut off. Everyone ahead of us that wished to, was seated right away. We put our name on the list and were advised it would "an hour".
There was no seating at the bar or at any of the tables (all filled). We decided to try and get a drink and then scout for a place to sit. After about 15 minutes, we finally got to order drinks because one of the regulars flagged down a bartender after us literally breathing down his neck while patiently waiting. Looking around and still seeing no place to sit, We "borrowed" a stool from a nearby table and sat on the fireplace. Given the seating situation and the previous extended wait, we decided we'd just wait until we were at the table for refills. Bad idea!
Throughout our wait, the noise level in the bar was extreme. We expect noise, but between the din of the customers and then the music, it just wasn't something we enjoyed.
After an hour and 20 minutes we were seated. When we got to the table, we assumed the waitress would come over to take our drink order since we didn't have any glasses. Nope! After 10 minutes we made our way to the salad bar thinking surely she'd come when we sat back down. Nope again!
After we finished our salads, she ran by, dropping the bread on the table. No conversation with us. Good thing there was a pitcher of water on the table. Our order had been taken while we were waiting for our table.
Our food comes out and again, it's dropped on the table with no ask for drinks, and no offer to fill the now half gone water pitcher. I finally had enough and flagged her down. She comes to the table and I ordered a soda. She has to finish chewing first and then says "I'm sorry, I had to finish eating the pretzels I've been eating in the back." No kidding! You sure weren't working the floor. When she brought the soda, she asked how it was and we asked for the bill and to go boxes. We didn't know when or if we'd see her again.
The food itself was ok. The prime rib and ribeye were cooked as requested. The ribeye and baked potato were served a little cold. I opted not to say anything as by this point, we both just wanted to eat and go.
If you don't mind waiting, standing, and not drinking then you likely will have a better experience than us. The service all in all left a lot to be desired. I saw the other waitresses were very attentive to the customers. I wish ours would have been. Unfortunately, we had high hopes and all things considered, we won't return.

We got there at 5 pm, place is busy but not packed. We were more than willing to wait awhile to have our order taken. After waiting 20 minutes, someone came along and wrote our party number down (6). After waiting another 40 minutes, we asked if we were close to our order taken and told they would send someone. A party of about 6 comes in right after that and after only waiting 10 minutes, we watched their order taken. We then knew it was time to find somewhere else. This place definitely needs a better system for getting people served. Frustrating to wait 1hour and 20 minutes to watch you get passed over.

A good friend of mine wanted to buy me dinner here for helping with some work around his house and this restaurant did not disappoint. The prime rib was one of the best I’ve had. Got stuck there as we drove in to eat and car was acting up...so we had to order to go...Salad bar was iceberg lettuce..very boring and basic ...soup good...they forgot mushrooms on steak and there was no seasoning on steak...very bland...grilled salmon...no seasoning and looked baked or microwaved definitely not grilled....very disappointed. Expect a line to get in but if you eat right away you may miss the packed bar prepping for dinner, seems to be a popular place for the local crowd. Staff was all great and nice small salad bar with great homemade soups and fresh baked bread on the table. The food was all good but the tenderloin was tougher than expected made up by the very good flavored fall off the bone ribs. Would recommend it for the overall experience and definitely will go again.

I went here both Friday and Saturday this weekend, while camping nearby.

The barkeeps were attentive and on the ball, and I loved the "Double Bubble" two-for-one drinks.

The hostess was also very efficient, as was the wait staff. The walleye dinner was great (but how can one mess up fried walleye, right??), and the chicken parmigiana was also great.

Prices were lower than many other Northwoods Supper Clubs.

When camping up there again, I'll surely stop by.

After a day of snowmobiling in the area we came here with friends for dinner. First, was pleasantly surprised when I ordered an old fashioned and two arrived! Double Bubble!
I gave the second to my husband. Second, when the bill arrived I was prepared to pay a lot given what we both ordered and again was pleasantly surprised. Our meals were great, soup & salad bar and fresh hot bread! The menu is supper club faire, no sandwiches but we came with appetites ready to eat so it worked out! Staff was great as well!

Stood by the sign that said "wait to be seated" Staff approached and said to us, "we don't take walk-ins". I asked if they take reservations. She said no. So how do we get to eat? The place was packed. They open at 4:30. It was 5pm and no one was seated in the dining room. She tells us that there r big groups ahead of us that have to be seated first. Get a drink and stand at the bar. One hour wait. We were there previously years ago. Don't remember it being all that great cuz we obviously didn't go back. We were there because someone gave us a certificate as a gift. We did leave and will go back for our free meals another day during the winter, slower season. She talked to us like we were stupid. People actually staring at us during the conversation.

Does not look like much from the outside,. BUT, a classic supper club. We arrived at 4:45pm and it was already packed, the bar was lined up with Old Fashions and they keep em a coming. It was two for 1, and the drinks were great. We got our drinks and sat on the outdoor patio sipping our drinks and chatting with fellow clubbers. You will wait a bit but you put your name down, get old fashions and they will take your order in advance. Then you are seated, hit the soup and salad bar which was also terrific! Very fresh. We had steak with scallops, Hmmm good! We will be definitely go back.

My family and I all went to eat here for dinner we all ordered different steak dinners all ordered our steaks medium all came out brown/over cooked one was a tenderloin which was literally a poor cut of meat folded in half. Told the waitress, left a note on the reciept with my number to call if they had any questions because they never grabbed the owner or manager after we complained. They called and right away started being condescending and rude and didn't want to take criticism or notes and just started argueing with me. The only reasons why they have a good review on here is because all the locals and friends gave a good review I would never recommend this place even to my worst enemy

The Weatherwood Supper Club is a true Wisconsin Supper Club. To you "out of staters" , no you don't have to join the club to dine there. But if you want a big juicy steak and a nice salad bar and a couple of good Old Fashioneds, try this resturant. On my last visit I had the large ribeye topped with sauté mushrooms and onions, a giant baked potato, a great salad from the salad bar and the included loaf of fresh baked bread. It was tender and delicious and enough for lunch the next day. So friendly staff, good drinks and great food make this a worthwhile stop. If you're in the area, you need to try The Weatherwood.
