Bathrooms were out of soap and nobody took care of that when I brought it up so I had to go to my vehicle to wash my hands with hand sanitizer. Food is not what it used to be, burger wasn't half as good as it was a year ago. Chili was still good but also not what it was a few years ago. Might stop going to this location, maybe it is the problem.

The people made us wait 8 minutes in the drive-thru .The sign to order at was not working. He kept messing up our order when we said it very clearly. We order half and half frosty which they said they could do but then when we got up to the window the guy said that we would have to wait an additional 8 mins for the vanilla ice cream cause they have to make more. I said NO! NOT waiting any longer.... Why couldn't you of told us this when we were in line waiting all for a long time. We ended up leaving without a purchase

Got my food and was missing a 10 piece chicken nugget along with a 4 piece of chicken nugget and our baconator fries. Upon trying to eat our food our sandwiches had mayo when we said no mayo. My baked potato was also black and rotten with mold spores on it. Was really grossed out over the whole experience.

Clean bathrooms and dining area, good food, fast service. They tend to get REALLY busy (especially the drive thru), but the employees are always polite, even under pressure. Great Wendy's to visit.
Only thing I'm disappointed about is for the price, the burgers are rather small these days. Got a son of baconator ($6) and it was just a tiny burger with a couple extra pieces of bacon; for $1.50 more you get the real deal. Next time I'll just get the big one and save half for later.
Update: had breakfast for the first time, rather disappointing. Service wasn't what it usually is (I'm not a morning person either so I'll forgive that), and the sandwich was meh; mostly bun and cold. Stick with lunch/dinner!
One additional update....the baconator was disappointing too. Like every other restaurant, they're cutting back. The spicy nuggets are still amazing though!!!!

Rude and unprofessional every time, never once have I hear a thank you or a hello or a goodbye. I only started going here every once in a while because it was across the street from my work and was convenient but they somehow manage to mess up a two item order every time I go. You wait forever at the window while they stand back there yelling and screaming and then they throw you back your food after touching it without gloves and then without saying anything they close the window. I’ve also heard that they take pictures of peoples cards and while I have never seen it, I definitely beleive it.

Avoid this Wendy's. Twice ive received cold food in the drive thru both at lunch and breakfast. The crew person today at 750am provided zero customer service. I would have been treated better by a robot. No hello, no sorry that the breakfast menu wasn't displayed, no thank you at the end. I felt like an inconvenience to his day. Guy that was running the Drive Thru was incredibly rude!! When the recording was going he cut it off and said go ahead with your order, I ordered got asked if that was all, that part is fine. I get to the window he stares at me I hand him my card, when he hands me back my card and drink I say THANK YOU, sayings nothing in return. I sit there he flings open the window hands me my food and shuts the window. Not one word the entire time while at the window. Felt like a major inconvenience, I won’t return.

12/20/24 went thru drive about 9:20pm. My entire order was COLD!!! I was the only one in line and zero people inside. I was in Onalaska's Wendy's yesterday. I waited in the drive through for over 50 minutes before I got my food (about 40 minutes until I was at the window). I ordered 3 combos. I'm not holding this against Wendy's this time, though, as the manager answered my question of "why so long" with a completely justified answer. I feel for that manager and hope he gets the staff that he needs. I'll be back as I love this Wendy's and this was a once-off.

Service at this location is simply terrible. Went downhill during covid (which they definitely get a pass for) but still has not improved as of October 2024.
Exceedingly long wait times (20+minutes regularly, no matter what time of day, with a couple 45+ minute waits) and we've had them simply forget our order existed after having us pull forward, wasting our time without even getting the food we ordered (they at leeast were kind enough to refund us after 20 or so minutes).
Food quality is definitely above average, when you can get it, but service is simply to the point where there's no excuse for the consistently awful service .

When I arrived I attempted to dine in but the doors were locked with no signs posted that the lobby was closed (noon on a Monday). I should have went elsewhere after that but instead I went to the drive thru. In total I waited over 30 minutes to get my food. I got a Spicy chicken combo and some of the new GarParm nuggets. The only thing I was able to eat was the frys. The nuggets were swimming in oil and were like oil sponges. There was no sauce on them what so ever. Then I got to the Spicy chicken and discovered is was not completely cooked. I will not be returning to this location anytime soon!

If you're really desperate to eat here. Go to the one on the south side of La Crosse. These employees fail to do your orders correctly to raise their voices at you when they can not comprehend how to do an order through the app. By saying, "Make up your mind if you want your order or not." They failed to give a replacement for something they're out of something. I guess if you look up the definition of high school drop outs while lacking ambition to do their jobs correctly and fail to take anger management classes, you've come to the right place.

I took my family to this Wendy's about an hour ago just to get my young daughter something to eat. It was not a good experience. After a fairly long wait at the drive through, the man who took our order was very rude, condescending, and hostile. I tried to ask him a question after giving my order, and he interrupted me to give me a lecture about how I was doing it all wrong (apparently, he thought I was trying to rush on to another order...I wasn't). So after giving him the drink order he apparently thought I was trying to rush past, I then asked if we could get curly fries. My daughter wanted me to ask and I couldn't imagine what the harm would be. A simple 'no' would have sufficed...but I got another condescending lecture that ended with 'we are NOT an Arby's.' I asked him is he was really angry but he didn't hear and just kept talking over me
This man sounded hostile enough that my daughter was legit quite anxious and uncomfortable as we waited to get the order.
I will say that the person working the cash register was very nice and politely fixed the order that the first employee must have been too busy taking his frustrations out on us to take down correctly. My daughter also said the food was good enough...but either way I have no intentions of going back.

This place used to be a favorite stop in onalaska. It seems the last year has been a steady downfall. Pulled into the drive through for close to 10 minutes with out even a "hello, I'll be with you in one moment " just silence. They were around the corner having a smoke break. This place needs to be shutdown, building torn down, and be forgotten about until the end of time. The building is a dump, the drive thru is a dump, the parking lot is a dump, and I've been met with better customer service at an actual dump. I hardly go to Wendy's cause of the bad experiences that I hear, just as I was excited to try the new Nacho burger, my entire meal was very disappointing. Time waiting for food was great, not a long time, and everything was hot and fresh. Gentlemen at the window never said a word, but he was moving exceptionally quickly, so I saw he was effective, and as someone who worked fast food before, I can say I was impressed how he handled things.

Service lol. 2 customers ahead of us. She take his order and leaves 6 mins later comes back ask can she take his order. He like need my cup. Then walks off. Finally place order I wanted sweet tea. She like in the machine no sweet tea in it. Get food fries cold sandwich was ok.

I stopped in yesterday around 11:00 to get a quick lunch. There was one other person ahead of me when I entered. It was rather cold and uninviting and it took several minutes before someone helped me at the counter. They took my order and we're very courteous. The food was ready quickly and my order was correct. I ordered a Dave's double cheeseburger with fries and a drink. The fries were hot but the sandwich was just warm. The bun was not fresh and the burger was just so-so. I ate quickly and then left.
I had eaten there many years ago and was always satisfied. However I don't think I will be back!

Long drive thru line so I went in to order took just about as long to order inside as drive thru 🤦. Food was good not great. Service slow but only one person working front counter. Atmosphere sill has Halloween decorations up and this was end of December. So they need to pick this pace up a little bit.

I ordered a 2 biggie bag of 7 dolar... 1 chili total of 18 dollars with some coins. there some new offers on the biggie bag. For sure, with nugget as well. I'm trusting. Keep going, and nuggets weren't there.apart from that, I asked for straw, and the ee gave me a spoon. I had two ask twice. It was my fault I doubt to checkout the bag. Fr next time. Probably new year for bad service. Idk 🤷🏼♀️. One of the sandwiches was open, It was my bad. I left,from the windows, didn't check. So, a leftover and very sadly, I throw it away.

Holy buckets this place is a disaster!! One of the girls at the front counter was very loud and giving off MAD attitude towards customers. She was yelling and making a scene behind the counter. Staff was super forgetful about what went in each order. This place needs some serious help

This was the filthiest fast food restaurant I have been in. The food was also subpar but just couldn’t get over how poor the customer service and the filth. The pop machine had hair and something split on it. YUK! Also employee’s could be heard dropping the F-Bomb. Would never go back here.
