***As of our recent trip, found out they no longer serve food. We were very disappointed. Great food and setting.
Beautiful golf course and we go to the restaurant every time we're in town. We love the pizza and other meals look very good. Friendly staff and drinks are poured well. Highly recommended.

Paid for a 9 holes and a cart and the owner walked out at hole 5 and told us that we “don’t have etiquette” and she took our cart away. We paid for 2 coolers of drinks at this point and tipped well. Do not recommend. Bring your business to Park Falls.

I’ve been coming to the Northwoods for 34 years and this course keeps getting better and better. Mostly forgiving fairways unless you’re a big fan of trees. Occasionally frustrating greens,… which is nice. 5/5. Will golf again.

Nice small town clubhouse atmosphere with a country course right off the lake. Small proshop and a fair clubhouse area. 9 hole course. Fairways were a little long but this is a northern course. Fairway had lots of bumps in it so play your long clubs a little long. Blind water areas and ditches add to ball position need. Some holes had some doglegs in them. Greens looked a little long but seemed to roll faster than they appeared. Looked like newer gas carts in great shape. A green or 2 you could see out onto the nearby lake. Sand traps were okay. Rates could've been a little better for this course but hard to tell what location is running. Fun casual time.

Went here w/friends & 2 kids. SUPER nice gal bartender! Very kind & efficient. Great Bloody Mary for us & kiddy cocktail for the kids. FUN spot and golf course looks amazingly well kept. Thx WGC!!!

We went to the Philips area this weekend to buy a couple rods. Westwood was highly recommend by the Elk River Rods owner and his friend so we went there for dinner. Dinner was AWESOME!!! My wife had a Chinese chicken salad and substituted salmon for the chicken, I had the prime rib special both were AMAZING!!! Low key atmosphere, friendly helpful staff nice view of yhe golf course and wildlife.

Our tour guides Marc, the owner of Elk River Rods and his bud Cubby told us this is THE place to eat lunch. We stayed later for their dinner special and it's incredibly delicious! A must go to spot in Phillips.

The food was very good, our server was cordial and polite. Unfortunately we had to wait fifty minutes for food to arrive. Way to long for a fish fry and a hamburger!!

Went for Friday fish fry. Waited more than 40 minutes for our fish—and they weren’t that busy. My broiled fish was under-broiled, but I do like sushi. My tator tots tasted plain and like every other Sysco-ordered restaurant in the area. One in our party had the little pieces from the bottom of the sweet potato fry bag. The table had been wiped off but it was still sticky and had red glitter on it—unless that was supposed to be part of the table. For a pricey meal compared to other local prices—more than 2 tablespoons of coleslaw would have been nice. The upside...? It was still way better than Club 13.

We ordered a pizza and there's not many places for pizza around there. Service was slow and the pizza was hardly anything to taste. We were done. We ate the appetizer ( the 2 stars is for the housemade jalepeno poppers. Those were tasty) and a few slices of pizza and left. Nothing stood out with that place. I guess if you're not a local, the dining experience is lost to you. Not recommended for ambiance nor food.
