Dana and team provided a wonderful pre-bridal party brunch! We were a bit late in reserving for our group and didn’t quite know our number, but White Dog was so accommodating to us.

We went to Green Bay for the 49ers/Packers game. My lady is a 49ers fan, and I’m a Packer’s fan so this was a chance for us to see both of our teams play. Saturday before the game we were looking for someplace to grab some lunch. My Lady being Gluten Free found White Dog Black Cat.

This is a smaller restaurant with a fun atmosphere. It’s definitely a little quirky. We found it welcoming. Upon arriving we were seated promptly and the waitress answered all of our questions regarding the Gluten Free options. Most importantly you can substitute for Gluten Free bread for $1 more. We both ordered the Garlic Burger… Roasted garlic and cream cheese… how can you go wrong? It was served with Chips. The burger was fantastic. It was really good, especially if you like garlic. If you don’t like garlic or are a vampire, stay away.

We were both very pleased with White Dog Black Cat. The food was fantastic, the waitress was awesome, and we loved the food. Definitely worth the stop in.

Never going back from Wausau. Was at Creative Remains and went here after. It was a rough day made worse by the bartender.

The person I went with was drunk when we arrived and spilled my drink on me after our meal bc I said I liked it. I was so stressed after going to the crematorium up the road. The bartender gave me evil eye, started throwing away the food I was packing and tried to touch me when she kicked me out for spilling the drink and responding to a martini in my apple iPhone ON PURPOSE. I had one sip and I was treated like I had several too many.

Our server was great and the bisque was curdled and the seafood was grey bits like cat food. Tasted gross.

Coffee martini was nice until I wore it 90 miles home.

Thanks for the lovely day. I do not mind telling everyone I know this story. I was embarrassed, trying to make myself laugh at lunch while watching someone clap at being a widow among other distasteful things and people.

Not caring my coat, purse, phone and clothes were doused in alcohol, I didn't have but one drink and I was also drinking a root beer which I had more of and was in a larger more full glass.

Not Greenbook friendly to me. I don't care if it's not race related - I was uncomfortable and when my disabilities showed from the stress of the entire situation I was treated like garbage.

Which is where I put the fish in the lady who spilled drinks garbage until next Thursday so this is a Dead Dog Joint for Me.

I originally started coming to the Black Cat White Dog for its top shelf bourbon old fashions. I still appreciate the unique atmosphere, but I'm not impressed with the bourbon selection, or quality of the cocktails I've had recently. I have been raving about the eggs benedict here for years. Though my last two brunch stops have been disappointing.

The second to last time my poached eggs were overcooked to soft boiled, which still had a little bit of runny yolk. I didn't think much of it, considering the positive past experiences.

This last time, today, the poached eggs were overcooked to hard boiled. I decided to let my server know when she came back around 10 minutes after another brought out our food. She was kind, apologized (not her fault, and I'm sure the kitchen was very busy), and she said she'd have it fixed. She walks away leaving the plate infront of me with my two cut open hard boiled eggs. I was alittle perplexed leaving the plate.

Then 10-15 minutes later she comes back and sets a small bowl with 2 perfectly poached eggs in next to me. Ok.. I scraped my hollandaise covered hard boiled eggs off, and fished the poached eggs out of the small bowl to place atop the cold ham and English muffin. Which had very little cold hollandaise left on it. I tried one bite and was just done with it.

The server was kind enough to take it off my bill, and had no answer when I asked why she didn't take the plate back to the kitchen to just have them take the hard boiled eggs off, keep the plate warm while they redid the eggs, and throw on two new poached eggs with hollandaise. I said it was wierd to just come back with this little bowl with 2 poached eggs in it. It was just funny and confusing at the same time.

I'm sure it was just busy, and she was running around nonstop for 3 hours prior to our arrival. God bless her, she still got 15%. The vodka coffee, "Daily Buzz", was really good 👍

This is a popular restaurant choice for my place of employment but I am not a fan. Last year I had a team meeting and offered to buy all team members lunch (10 of us). I went a few hours in advance with the order written down and gave it to them. The one thing I asked about was the onion dip as I know more than half of the meals people chose had chips as the side. The waitress who took the order said, "What we usually do is give each person a small side dish with the dip." What she didn't mention was that it was an extra $3 PER PERSON for that. I believe I spent $18 just on onion dip.

I picked it up about 2 hours later and brought it to our office. After handing out food we realized an entire meal was missing. I had to go order and then wait for someone's food. Thankfully I had ordered a salad so it didn't matter that my food sat 20 extra minutes (it was gross anyway), but it was very inconvenient for a working lunch. My bill was nearly $200 and I vowed not to go back.

That said, as I first mentioned, it's popular with some of my office mates so I got dragged there today. It's incredibly loud which is not their fault but makes discussion challenging. I ordered the quesadillas which I have seen before. However, I realize now that they've changed their menu (don't use the customer photos!) My quesadillas were $10 and I would be shocked if the 2 tortillas were any bigger than 6 inches. There's not really any seasoning so don't expect much spice or flavor. It's quite literally some very shredded chicken with melted cheese. I don't mind bland, but I did have to come home afterwards and eat something else as I was still hungry. It looked like something from the kids menu. After a soda and tip, I spent $15 for something significantly smaller than a Taco Bell quesadilla. I referred to it as Barbie Dream House sized.

The waitress was nice, but very busy. There were 4 of us and we had separate checks. The other 3 were abe to pay using their phones and the QR code but she messed up my bill twice and I ended up having to use my card to pay with her instead. Everyone else was pleased enough, but they got correct bills and grown up portions.

Usually go here for breakfast which is very good, but first time here for lunch and I will never again. Our burgers took almost an hour apparently and the table that ordered theirs next to us that ordered about 20 minutes after us got theirs way first. When we got the food everything was cold as if it sat for a long time. Soup was not warm, cheese on the burger was already cold. Cheese curds were also cold. Very unimpressed and the waitress must’ve known because she never bothered to ask how our food was or stop back. I asked for our check and went to hand her my card and she gave us a box and walked away for another 10 minutes. They even have an outdoor sitting area with a bar and music stage. This place earned a place in our eating rotation. Second with friends. I tried the Saturday steak special which was done to perfection. Warning about the hunger cat burger. It's quite ridiculous. It's sheer size caught my friend off guard. I had the Chicken Poke Bowl and fries and I LOVED both so much. My brother had the Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl and my sister had the fish, spinach, garlic mash potato gluten free dish. They both loved theirs also. This was my first time there and I definitely will be going again. Our waitress was truly AMAZING, loved her personality too. Our bills were just over $20 each with sodas. Mine a little more because of the fries, but well worth it. The establishment is so creative, vibrant colors and lighting and art, perfection. ❤️

We went to the White Dog after visiting the Railroad museum. We read the reviews and were excited to try the restaurant. We were not disappointed! My wife had the fish tacos and I had the walleye. Both were amazing! We also noticed a lot of people around us ordering the seafood bisque and the lobster roll. Next time. Our server was amazing! The food was really good. I had the muffaletta and my husband had the pig out burger. The service was fast and friendly. It's a cool little spot.

Great spot right near downtown! It’s a smaller place so highly recommend making a reservation before stopping in. Has a cute outdoor area when the weather is nice.

I had never been there before. I would recommend going. The meal was very good, as were the drinks. I had the cordon brie. Was fantastic! My husband had the steak sandwich with homemade chips. He said it was great. Sorry I did not take any pictures that evening, I wish I would have. Trust me when I say " it was very good". I am pretty picky when it comes to food. We will be back.

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat and was highly disappointed. My husband got the avocado toast - the avocado wasn't fresh, it was more like a paste. I ordered the strawberry French toast for me and my kids - there was no strawberry. They were plastered with a cream cheese-like substance and the Grapes that were served on the side were not good. The bread was also hard and stale. My kids didn't not want to eat it. First time here and won't be coming back. Staff were nice though.

Great food. We got the Lobster Benedict and Steak and Eggs. Food came in good time, and it was delicious. They staff is very friendly. Only complaint was that I asked about a drink served to another guest and the server sated I don't know. She could have gone and asked the server what is was. Instead she assumed it was something and it didn't look close to what I ordered.
