Very nice campground with friendly atmosphere. Food is outstanding and excellent prices. Had lots of planned activities for 4th of July celebrations. Fireworks were the best. Excellent place for kids with large playground. Mostly permanent sites with a few temporary ones close to the bar/restaurant. Very clean and well kept.

Went on a Wednesday for broasted chicken which as it turns out translates to fried chicken. It was okay at best. The service just had to make you laugh or else you would get mad. Now there were 3 tables of people and 3 people at the bar so you would think a bartender, waitress, owner and a cook could handle this, wrong. Without making this a book, I won't be back.

Stopped around lunch, no one in the bar eating, a few patrons, a group setting up for a party, hoping to get lunch and a few drinks. Ourselves and waited for server/ anyone to ask if we needed menus or drinks. No one acknowledged us, bar tender proceeded to play shake a day with bar customers, eat her lunch and decorate. Left after waiting 10 minutes. Disappointed.

The place is pretty great most of the time. However, it was night time. And mother nature started calling (#2) I went to the office where they have showers and toilets as part of the accommodations we paid for. I was told they were out of commission for the night and I would have to go in my camper. However we were staying in a pop up with no suck accommodation. I relayed this to the staff and asked if there was an outhouse or any back up way for me to relive myself. I was then told to go in the woods and was unceremoniously turned away. Not a great experience. Like I said this really soured my night and weekend. Otherwise this place would deserve a 4 star review

We’ve been seasonal camper for a couple years.This place feels like a family.many events throughout the summer. Live bands on the weekends and fantastic food at the bar. Service is always great. This was a nice campground. We pitched a tent and did some hiking on the Ice Age Trail. The tenting area is a wide open flat grassy space. The bathrooms and showers were really nice, probably the nicest ones I’ve used at a campground. There was a bar onsite, so you could order food after getting back from hiking, but it did get a little noisy at night. A pair of ear plugs came in very handy and I slept well all night!

Very nice campgrounds, very nice staff and other campers. Definitely need to stay on 63 and come in on 53 not take the dirt road in between. Would have been nice if they had sewer and a laundry, but knew that before we went. Small game room and bar on site so weekends a little louder up front. Would stay there again.

My husband and I stayed there for a weekend. The "weekend sites" are wide open, not private, and very close together. We spent most of Saturday exploring Spooner (cute town) and enjoyed the distillery in Sarona. The bathrooms were nice and clean. If you're looking to get away from people, this not the campground for you. There are many kids, and ATVs constantly going through the campground. We did not try the bar. Overall had a good experience, but it's not our style of camping.
