Only rated 6 stars cause I can't do 10!! We followed the reviews to this gem and so glad we did! Traveling from Kentucky and we will definitely be back! Our waitress Missy was awesome, very attentive and friendly. We told her about a tip from another Wisconsin waitress, trying cheese curds with caramel and then let her try one. Next thing we knew she'd shared it and the entire bar was eating it! Everything we got was incredible and HUGE!! Come with an appetite! You will definitely be happy! We had the Alfredo, the Honker, the Shepherd's Pie, and the chicken pot pie soup...all AMAZING!! Planning to go back for breakfast!! Oh, bring them a state license plate for their wall!!

I stop here every time I come through. Even if its just to grab an order and go. They have some of the best sausage links and biscuits and gravy I have had out on the road. Staff is always kind and helpful. Keep up the good work Wild Goose!

Surprised and thrilled. Ample parking since a truck stop and the food was great. Prices are very fair. Bathrooms super clean and even smell good. This will be a new pit stop anytime now when we pass through. It was that good. Oh and I was able to order breakfast food at 7pm. Dont hesitate to try and make it your new favorite stop.

They can do better! Multiple times I have ordered food here and they forget stuff that I tell them like cheese, and I get charged for it, also they should not be charging for a gluten-free bun. Not really fair they dont do it for a regular bun so why gluten free or atleast do half off $2 for some pieces of toast is outrageous It used to be that way where they wouldn't charge. They changed the whole menu. Got rid of some items and charge for the gluten free bun now!

They have a restaurant if you choose to eat there they also have homemade comfort foods that are Frozen that you can take home. Drivers they have washers and dryers there and showers. It's always quiet there. And the people there are always smiling which US truck drivers appreciate

Place is really disappointing. Ordered 10oz ribeye said well done and no pink. Food came out, half of the steak was pink. Had to find somebody to send steak back, then, when the steak came back, it was pinker inside than the last one. Male and female cook in the kitchen were arguing about the temperature of the steak says well done, but we specifically asked for no we pink. Service was bad, no refills on drinks. Our server never asked how food was. Told them I didn’t care about the steak anymore. I paid for everything and left.

Absolutely terrible experience. I was sitting at the counter when two of the sweetest waitresses came in visibly upset and quit on the spot due to poor treatment under new management. I overheard the owner, Cal, showing zero concern for their well-being or the fact that they were leaving. It’s heartbreaking to see kind and hardworking staff being treated this way. This place used to feel welcoming, but not anymore. Unless they start treating their employees better, I won’t be coming back—and I don’t recommend anyone else does either. 😡

Absolutely can't advertise as a truck stop restaurant. Truckers don't work bank hours. Closes early don't bother stopping to eat. Used to be a regular stop. Food is very good but last time I stopped they had a list of things they were out of. Nail in the coffin. Just have to find another place.

Great place to stop by! The food was so, so good and 99% of the staff are amazing. It’s very clean, including the bathrooms (such a godsend), and there is plenty of parking for big and small vehicles. I will be back every time I’m in town!

Only negative is the bald man in the window. He was very loud (I could hear him everywhere) and was really aggressive towards the other staff who were there. I’m not sure what his problem is but I feel for the other staff. They were perfect and super friendly, and they don’t deserve that kind of treatment!

Food and wait staff is amazing. We stop here every time we are on our way to and from the children's hospital in Madison. On our last trip we were shocked however by one of the kitchen staff who was harassing all the employees. (Bald with beard) could be heard in every inch of the cafe and seemed like his whole goal was to embarrass and belittle every employee that worked there. The staff deserve better.

Waitress came over right away with menus and then brought us water, waited 15 minutes for her or one of the other 2 waitresses to come back, never happened. Two of the waitresses stood behind the counter and talked while one other one was cleaning tables one of the waitresses walked by. We asked if we could get our order taken she said sure she’d be right back. She stopped at another table on her way to the kitchen and was socializing with them For 5 to 8 minutes! We finally got up and left. We ate there once before about a year ago and the food was excellent, but not much good to say about the staff. They were not very busy either.

Normally I don't do reviews but as a new over the road driver this place was a great place to stop for the night. Really good food selection from dinner to Breakfast. Also good parking when I pulled in around 9pm, usually truck stops are full by then. Definitely will stop there when I'm in the area.

4th or 5th time dining here. First time was excellent,(2 years ago), since then it's getting worse and worse. Today will be the last time spending my hard earned money here. The meatloaf was burnt and so dry I could not eat it. The potatoes were also really dry and not creamy. The only thing I found edible was the corn that only needed to be warmed up.

We just happened to Google restaurants near me when we were in the area & this cafe popped up. Very cute inside, the food was good (food was served on heated plates which is great because it keeps your food warmer). The waitresses were friendly and always checking in you. So, we sat to the counter. My daughter and I ordered French toast- hard to screw that up, but they did. The bacon we ordered and French toast came out 15+ minutes before my husband's food. But it sat there waiting for his to eventually come out. VERY disappointing! The bacon was COLD & not as done as I would have liked- I asked for crisp bacon, half was but all were COLD. I used syrup to make it edible because not one person stopped to check on us and how the food was. One girl, not the one who took our order, Just stopped to ask if I wanted the bill. NOT IMPRESSED. Then when I told the girl who took the check at the register, she just said, oh, I'll tell them that, didn't ask how it was as she'd done for other orders. Took our full priced meal ticket and that was that, nothing adjusted. I still left a tip as it was Father's Day and my husband's food at least was decent. But come on, 2/3's of the food was COLD & not good.
At this point I really DON'T recommend this place. I saw a lot of food sit there waiting for the rest and not being completed at the same time as the rest of the order. But ours sat through SEVERAL orders that went out while ours sat there. One other server asked the cooks if the order was going to come out soon for the food to go out because it had been sitting there for SO long. The older female cook said yes and it sat through three more orders before going out to us. Couldn't even complain about it as NO ONE checked on us.

We have been coming to this place for a long time. We have absolutely amazing service but only when an adult wait staff is present. When they are not we have horrible wait times, our food is cold. Everyone is negative and the wait staff isn’t friendly. Which is really sad since we have been such supporters since day one. Hopefully by this review we can help fix this problem. Our waitress was nice and tried to compensate us on the bill and I understand that and appreciate it. We would love to see some growth with the younger staff.

Terrible service, place was empty and I had to get up ask for my kids cheese cake, had to get up and ask for a refill, had get up and ask for boxes. Waitress gave me a regular pop when I asked for diet, I’m diabetic. I was not able to eat because of all the sugar the waitress gave me, so I had to take it to go. Super confused how this place gets such good reviews. Super slow service and food takes forever(for such basic breakfast items). Food was partially inedible. Not sure what is happening here. I've stopped in here for year's. Product shelves are looking a bit empty and sandwiches are not as ... not as fresh (better than most truck stops). Frozen food, I normally spend close to a hundred dollar's here on my way home. Not lately, unfortunately the products and presentation lost appeal. Also, what happen to the hot beef sandwiches in the self-serve? It was quick and delicious.

Pork steak was pretty good, cooked nicely with a real nice sear and flavor, I got crispy hash browns for the potatoes, and they were very good and actually crispy! The salad was underwhelming, lettuce, shredded cheese, a few small cherry tomatoes and some cucumber slices that were 12 hours from becoming liquid, the mixed veggies were of the same fate as the cucumbers, soggy, tasteless, and on their way out. Cheese curds for the app were really good as well. Will definitely be back!

The menu is short and simple but everything on the menu is very good and cooked right. Great burgers and the rest are all good food. I would suggest a larger menu with more plate dishes. the waitresses are friendly, courteous and very accommodating. Check them out and stop in and give them a try.
