I walked in and thought the atmosphere was nice we were there for fish fry. There were 10 of us, our server did a great job, but we all order different fish selections and none of us thought the fish was worth returning for, it wasn't terrible it just wasn't good.

Thought I should stop on a trip back from Marquette, MI going to Minneapolis. My golf swing disagreed with the decision and apparently just wanted to get home. Course was in nice condition and the staff was friendly. Not recommended (Playing golf, not course specific) for people who don't know where their ball is going to go when they swing. 😳🫣😧😞🙄

We were here for a wedding and I would absolutely recommend this place for an event. The setting is beautiful, the buffet dinner was excellent and the staff was very accommodating in checking ingredients for my allergies. The Wild Ridge course is one of the most picturesque I’ve played. It’s very well maintained. Par 3 tee boxes are tore up but that’s to be expected. The greens are fast and challenging. If you slice like me, bring extra balls. You’ll need them. Another beverage cart or two wouldn’t hurt; I didn’t encounter one until the ninth hole.

Absolutely, out of this world, beautiful golf course from start to finish. Great views of the course from the clubhouse on top of the hill. Course was in immaculate shape, greens were fast, price is always good. Front is in and out of the woods with elevated tee shots on the majority of holes. Back nine has a bit more of a heavy sloped links style. I've played this course each time I'm in Eau Claire, it's the best in the area by far, and has never disappointed.

When finding a course to call home, consider Wild Ridge and Mill Run. Staffing is well versed and educated in all areas, everyone seems to enjoy their job. As for the courses, they are always in fantastic shape, Wild Ridge is top of the line and the greens are a blast to putt on. The fairways at Wild Ridge are like walking on carpet and the roughs will make you pay for your mistakes. The historic Mill Run is approachable to all golfers, and provides an enjoyable experience to all, its in great shape for its affordable price.
The views at each course are unlike any other.
The overlook at the back 9 at Wild Ridge is one of the most extravagant wedding venues I've ever seen. At Mill run you can see 4 different holes sitting in one spot at the patio, its always entertaining watching people tee off on hole 1 and watching approach shots come into 9 green, don't forget there is a golf course at this bar.
These courses will become your place to play and call home.

On October 15th I called and set a tee time for 11am on October 17th. Knowing it would be cold, I wanted to make sure the course would be open. The gentleman on the phone said the frost advisory needed to be lifted before we could golf, so 11am is what he suggested. A buddy traveled over an hour to meet me and no one was at the course. I called both mill run and wild Ridge multiple times. No one answered. Mill run and wild Ridge were both completely closed, doors locked. Nothing posted online about being closed. No phone call letting me know they were closed. No phone call about my 11am tee time. Just left us hanging. Really really disappointed.

Wild Ridge and Mill Run are two of the nicest courses in Eau Claire, with Wild Ridge being number one. High quality fairways and greens with fun and challenging hazards. Higher cost, but absolutely worth it. Their carts are also high-end, equipped with GPS displays to show you the course and distance to the hole based on the carts position.

This overall was a pretty good course to visit.

Mill Run had a separate area and clubhouse. Bar area ok and a small pro shop even though the building doesnt look for much outside. Fairways were in some rough shape in a number of areas; tee boxes rough, and one green on the back bad a bad spot. Greens mostly were pretty good though and the course layout interesting. Rates decent for this course based on quality. Prob would've rated this a 3 star.

Wild Ridge was in much better shape. Nice bar area and a bigger pro shop with a nice looking building. Didn't notice a bad green. Fairways were in mostly great shape with minor storm impact....and really noticeable problems were from other golfers that needed to use the carts more respectably. And you can't beat the electric gps carts that were awesome. This links stlye course had a lot more elevated tee boxes and terrain to deal with to make the course harder. Rates were higher but pretty good for this quality of a course. Definitely a four star course here.

Try them out. Lots of golfing in a good area with much different layouts. Would go back again.

I played here in early July on my way to Minneapolis. The atmosphere in the clubhouse was super friendly, the cost was very reasonable and the course was in fantastic shape from tee to green. I have to say this course is a true jem of the Chippewa Valley. This was my first time playing an 18 at Wild Ridge. I would play it again in a heartbeat. No course ranger on a steady Saturday which might have helped with pace. We held our wedding at Wild Ridge Golf Course (both ceremony and reception). The venue was absolutely gorgeous! The patio that we held the ceremony on over looks the greens, so the view was beautiful from every angle. The food was fantastic, and the bar was well stocked with a ton of options. Lisa is the wedding coordinator, and she was so helpful! The customer service from the Wild Ridge team was amazing, and I would highly recommend them to everyone.

I've been golfing at Wild Ridge for 20 years. I didn't realize early on the quality of course and the value it provides. I've played lesser courses both in and out of state for two and three times the price. It's a nice mix of open views and dense woods. The course is very fair. Not many forced carries. You can swing driver on every hole if you're bold, but it also allows you to lay back for safer plays. Great place to play a twilight round on a Saturday evening.
