We went for lunch on a Monday and we were the only ones there. My dish was spectacular and it came out very quickly, but of course we were the only customers at the time. Prices seemed fair. Curious if it fills up more at dinner. I had the vegetarian butter masala and my boyfriend had some sort of kebab. The staff was very nice just not overly attentive. It is a very different atmosphere than I’ve experienced before, fancy seating, cultural heavy music, and grocery fridges. I would definitely go again.

Just ate here with some friends and our kids.
Food was delicious.
We shared some rolls (chicken and beef), goat biryani, goat achar, chicken platter, fish platter, naan, roti and aloo paratha.
Everything was delicious. The aloo paratha and goat achar (spicy) stole the show for me.

I feel bad to give low ratings however this wasn’t my first experience in this place. Many items are expired. Please check dates. Tomatoes were moldy and still on display. Ordered goat meat on my last visit and sadly I had to throw away many pieces due to hair and dirt stuck on meat. It took me a while to remove the hair of the pieces to the point of throwing it all out. Chicken franks were expired since 2021 however still on shelves with a moldy color. These are the same ingredients they use to cook food. I also purchased about 30 ice cream kulfis from the freezer next to the register. I’d be cautious if I was to eat from here. Please check your items before checking out. I will not return.

Food came bleeding, several dishes, not just one. The tikka was either bleeding or completely pink inside, completely raw. Meal portions were extremely small and prices were extraordinarily high. Food had 0 taste, the nihari didn’t taste like nihari at all and there was no spice to the dishes with highest spice level chosen. I took my family of 15 there for dinner and it was wonderful. We had a combination of 5 different types of foods on the menu. It was served family style. Every was absolutely delicious. We went for dinner. My hubby and I shared the chicken grill platter and an order of naan. The gentleman recommended the rice pudding special which was delightfully creamy with a touch of rose flavor. I loved watching them cook (they have a clay oven). Food was fresh and hot and pricing is average. We browsed the store while we waited. I recentlystopped at Zaika Mart & Grill for lunch and couldn’t be happier with the decision! While mainly a grocery store focused on items not found at traditional U.S. grocers, the grill offers made to order organic Halal fare. The food is prepared in front of the customers in just a few minutes and is absolutely delicious!
I had the beef wrap and it was a flavor explosion in the best sense! The medium seasoning, recommended by the staff, was just the right amount of spice for my taste. My wife ordered the Peshwari Chicken Chapli Kabab. This dish was also excellent, if a little spicy for her taste. Both our servings were extremely generous, and we’re already making plans to go back!
I definitely recommend Zaika Mart & Grill! Enjoy some flavor!

I have been going to zaika for the past 3 years. Recently, I bought mutton meat from them and I found small hair in almost every bag. I thought may be it got there accidentally so I just ignored it. However, last week my husband bought mutton meat again and the amount of hair was double, every piece of mutton had a hair. For those who does not have any idea mutton is expensive and we pay over $80 for 5 pounds so I expected atleast some sort of hygiene when it comes to raw meat or chicken. I trusted them but it seems like after this experience I will never buy any sort of meat from them.

Ordered their food for pickup to host a party of 6 guests at home. I ordered Lahori charga, fried fish, 2 Goat Karahi, 2 Chicken biryani, Beef Seekh kabab and Chicken cheese kababs. Everything tasted delicious,authentic, perfectly cooked and seasoned (not too spicy).
Our guests absolutely loved it👌👌 The party was a hit because of their flavourful and hygienic food. I recommend all the menu items I mentioned, especially fish and lahori charga. Everything was 10/10 in taste.

Very friendly, welcoming staff. I ordered 2 shawarma chicken wraps. I had high hopes but the final product was not how it is described on the menu. Menu says the wrap has tomatoes, onions, pickles and a garlic Mayo. None of those were in the wrap. It was essentially chicken and chopped cabbage and nothing else (I think it was cabbage…but definitely no pickles or tomatoes). Chicken didn’t have much flavor. The rest of the menu looks good though. I’d consider trying something else.

Friendly staff, Fair prices and delicious food. Looking for a halal BBQ place, this is the best so far in Milwaukee. They also have biryani and other south east asian dishes. I loved thier clean and organized store. They have also traditional food items e.g ready to cook Hakeem etc. They also have varieties of naan, paratha, samosa and halwa, sweets too. Great place.

My family has been purchasing meats and groceries from here for months, and have yet to have a negative experience. They have the best quality lamb I have found in the Milwaukee area, and the owners are incredibly helpful and gracious. Prices are very reasonable, and the restaurant food is so delicious and authentic. Big thank you from us to the owners/operators of Zaika Mart!

Worst customer service especially the lady is so illiterate and bad mannered. the meat price is sky rocketing high and have the lowest quay of meat other options are way to go better shopping at other places .

Went there thrice: once for their food and twice for halal meat. Nothing is good here.
The biriyani was below average and did not taste good, didn't have enough meat either.
Bought beef with bone. They just mix bones and boneless meat together. In every other halal places they just cut a section of the animal into pieces, but not here. And the meat tasted very bad. There was a weird smell of medicine.
Also bought 30 pieces of wings the day after labor day. They said the frozen ones would be better so I bought them. The moment I opened the packet, it smelled like freezer burn. I had to throw the entire batch because it was that smelly. Never going to zaika ever again. And it's not cheap.
