I went there the other day for my birthday and didn’t have the best experience, my boyfriend was really excited to show me Zesty’s too. First I got a drink with my combo meal and the ice dispensed with a gross chunk of something that I don’t even know what it was. My boyfriend got a chicken sandwich which he said wasn’t the best and he didn’t like it and he is a chicken sandwich fanatic, there was just something about it that he didn’t like. Next, I read online that for your birthday you can show ID and you get a free single serving of custard. I did that and had to go through 3 employees and the third one said I had to show them a text from them talking about it. I didn’t have a text and later I even searched it up and for the life of me I couldn’t find a texting list or app or anything. They just didn’t want to give out free ice cream. Lastly, I ordered a Mud Pie sundae and it is supposed to come with chocolate custard and they gave me vanilla. They didn’t say they were out of chocolate or ask my flavor preferences. I wanted chocolate and was looking forward to it. Safe to say, although I didn’t let it get to me too much, Zestys ruined my boyfriends day and put a down on my birthday.

Had a rough experience with my girlfriend on our trip here. First time going and we beat the rush, placed our order of 2 combos and waited patiently for 15+ minutes, as folks who came after us were being served.

Our food had been ready, however sitting on a counter where every employee minus the cashier walked past multiple times. We were given the bag of cold food after 28 minutes of waiting. After feeling the bag being very cold, asked for a refund and we were not interested in eating the burgers not hot.

Handed the bag to a kid, asked for a refund. Store was unable to give me a refund as there is no manager on duty? Not sure if anyone 18+ is actually there. Hoping I can get this refunded tomorrow. Maybe I'll get to try the food sometime too.

Awful pricing. I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger combo meal with fries and a large vanilla shake on 7/26/25. It came to an astounding $23 with tax. I paid, but that's the last time I set foot in this place. Fries tasted funny, cheeseburger was o.k. A king's ransom for mediocre fast food. No thanks.

Honestly, I always loved zestys! We came into town for the 4th while visiting family we decided to stop for some good ol custard. We had a few first timers who were excited! Our issue wasn’t the quality of the food it was the overall service. The (I’m assuming manager) was extremely aggressive with us. After we place our order and informed the cashier that we would be waiting outside because we had a large group he informed us that someone would come out and let us know our order was ready… instead of doing that the “manager” decided to bring the treats and everything else we order she decided to make a comment and said “I called several time for you guys and now I had to come all the way out here to give you your stuff. We aren’t paid enough to deliver you your food” we were honestly thrown back by the comment and decided to just toss everything we ordered and go somewhere else. It was disappointing to be talked to like that especially after a large number of our party praising zestys for being amazing in every way possible (or so we thought). We don’t plan on going back any time soon or atleast to this specific location. Very dissatisfied.

The food and customer service were fantastic, the staff were cery cordial and friendly and so patient. The customers themselves weren't very friendly, though. There was some guy complaining about how many people were inside as soon as he walked in and stood by us. We also kept getting glared at because of a baby we had with us who was crying occasionally (three times for about a minute each). Some of the customers kept making comments on it whenever the baby made a noise. Even as we left, there were customers glaring at us. I don't know, it's a family restaurant so I'm gonna bring family. Again the staff were very friendly and polite, I'll absolutely return with my family. :) The zesty burger is phenomenal.

The food and frozen custard were good, but we were charged quite a bit more for the food than what the sign said it was! Food and custard for 4 (2 under 10) was almost $100. I truly do not think we will be back. Zesty's use to be fairly priced, but not anymore. I thought it was illegal to charge more than the listed price for stuff!? I am very disheartened!

The ice cream menu is confusing. You can't get any of the "mixed" ice creams in their smallest cup (mini) which quite large. It doesn't taste or holdup like custard. It's more of a soft serve.

We go here quite a bit and normally have a good experience even if there's a minor mixup or things missing. Today was not the case. It's mother's day and we celebrated out yesterday, so decided to keep it small and local today. Alot of places were closed and Zestys has options all of us like, so we decided to order from here after seeing they were open on Facebook. Their post also said a free scoop for all moms with your order, which was nice. We ordered online and headed out shortly after to pick up our order. When getting our order, we let them know our 2 adult fountain drinks were missing. My wife also asked about the free mother's day scoop. She was told she already placed her order and didn't include it in her order. My wife said there was no option to add a free scoop. She was then told it's because she used a third party app to order(which is the only way to order online through them). She was told if she wants a scoop, she can place another order and ask for her free scoop. Really? I then told my wife just order a scoop and we'llpay for it, but she was disappointed by it all and just wanted to leave. We went to get our fountain drinks before leaving. The kids wanted pink lemonade, but it was out and just dispensing water which of course was a let down for the kids. The Pepsi which my wife and I were going to get had a note that it was out of order. We got root beer instead and headed out. Upon arriving home we discovered the root beer was flat and the fries were old and cold. It was unfortunately just a very disappointing experience. A couple of these things happening in a single visit which can occur anywhere can be overlooked. Things and mistakes happen. For it all to happen on the same visit, along with being denied a mother's day scoop was a little too much for us. Even though we like Zestys and often go here, I'm not sure if we'll be going anymore.

I loved how festive the store was for Easter! Seems they may be more staffed than usual? The staff was great and food was excellent. The deluxe burger tasted like it was made with love and it's one of my favorites in the Green Bay area. Thanks for the great experience.

Unfortunately we walked in to have a nice treat and I asked if their base ice cream was gluten free or if they had any specific knowledge of what items might have gluten in them and she said they don't know and the base ice cream is not gluten free. Which I find hard to believe but obviously I'm not going to take a chance when I'm actually going to get sick. So staff had no knowledge of what gluten is I don't think. It's not dairy.... It's simply wheat, rye, barley and oats. In addition they were just rude about it.

Just went there for the first time in close to two decades, my dad used to take me to get the cool car meals for little kids. I brought my toddler for the first time, while holding her I ordered "A buffalo chicken wrap with tomato tortilla, a lil' hamburger with fries and a small soda. And I'd like ketchup and ranch to dip the fries." I tried to verify a few different things that appeared on the screen when ordering like ' lil' hamburger add ranch ' and specified again that I needed the ranch on the side for fries and the cashier said that it was good.

We received a water cup, a regular chicken wrap, a cheese burger with ranch on it and no kids car... I felt bad because the server was nice but the items came out a different times and I kept having to send things back / ask for corrections. It was busy, I get it but it's super frustrating to have so many things wrong.

Nice, vintage place for the kids to enjoy ice cream and food inside or outside but the prices are a bit crazy.
2 burger meals, 1 kids burger+drink, 1 kids Mac n cheese(tiny), 2 ice cream flurries and 1 small cookie dough was $60+.
I'm not sure if I'm going to go there again unless the kids save their own $ to buy ice cream next time.

Zesty's used to be a family favorite. I grew up going here almost weekly. Whether it be the frozen flavor of the day or a black cow, the custard was rich and delicious. Having now returned after a couple of years, I was greeted to find myself paying $8 for a black cow that cost only $3.50 a year or so ago. $8 for a root beer float that you stuck in a blender. That price is hilarious... I can get Italian Gelato for less. Taking my business elsewhere.

I was given an item that I did not order. When I explained to the worker that I did not order the item. She told me it must have been from a different order. She came back and confirmed with me that it was from a different order. However, when I asked for a copy of the receipt they told me they could not provide me with one. I did the math and realized that they indeed lied to me and that I was charged for the item. I then asked to speak to a manager who issued me a zesty's credit for the amount of the item and would not even give me my money back

The special had only a couple specks of chocolate and a crumb of puppy chow. Their facebook post looked very different. It was basically vanilla ice cream. I posted this to their facebook page and they deleted the photo with no reply to me. I wasn't going to complain about the paper thin beef on the kids burger but since I'm here now I will. Along with the spoonful of ice cream with the kids meal that wasn't even a scoop. Would love to support local but it's not worth it. Back to Culver's.

Cute and quaint, old style little custard and burger joint, plus so much more. The custard is top notch and to die for. Even the vanilla does something to me! Their depiction of a blizzard, "the scramble" is amazing and 50 to 100 times better than DQ, and the best sundaes around these parts. Love the switching up of specialty flavors, and love sneaking away here in the summer every now and again for a treat when we can visit the area.

Hadn't visited for several years and was excited to come back. I was a bit disappointed with the burgers....all three that we ate had a burnt taste to them. Luckily the fries, chips, and custard masked the after taste. Maybe it was an off-day for the grill. The service was friendly, and relatively quick. Went here for a cookie dough scrambler. Very disappointed! First the person who took my order must have been in training, she was constantly touching her hair and adjusting her hat! She was also the one who made my scramble. She continued to fix her hat and hair while making what I ordered. When she brought my order to me I was not happy with the situation and from what I was given it was not Scrambled! I received custard in a cup with the cookie dough on top only a few mixed in. When I say few i mean 4 to 5 pieces in the custard and a layer on top. I will not be going back for anything.

I got to say it is a cute little shop, however i got a banana split and was extremely dissappointed with it there was only 1 piece of banana in it and a banana split requires a banana cut in half with usually 3 scoops of ice cream in the middle then the toppings , i felt there was barely any toppings on it and usually ice cream would be more solid than liquid and for the price i paid, ithought i got over charged for what was to them a banana split and the toppings were very stingy at best my wife and kids and their aunt liked their stuff they got but my brother in law felt the same and he said usually it is better than what we got.he also got a banana split and felt the same as i did. Now i will go and try it again and hope they do better if not then i likely won't go back.
