10/11/25 - Came here for breakfast and waited and waited and waited. Apparently, it was a staffing problem that caused a 25 minute wait for someone to take our orders. Breakfast menu consists of standard American heavyweight breakfast meals although oatmeal is on the menu. Food was okay after being received. Others at table noted the hash browns tasted weird and others at the table received burnt toast and cheese when not requested. Maybe the kitchen was having a bad morning. Not going to return for another breakfast.

Huge portion of lasagna. Delicious. Sauce was great. Ravioli was pretty good too and the garlic bread was fantastic.

UPDATE: 9/14/2025
What happened? The Lasagna completely changed. Sauce was non-existent... literally. Tasted like layered noodles with meat.
Not to mention portion size was about half.
Italian bread was NOT the length wise cut and very generous as before.( Like slabs )
Now looks like a baguette cut in chunks.
VERY disappointed. What went from a go to place now don't go to. Sorry thought we had found a great place .... things change.

Really great spot to chill and have some food and drinks. I've never been on the inside of the restaurant, but the outside bar area is amazing!! Minus the dang mosquito.. 🤦. Some days they can be a bit much...But with mosquito repellent on you'll be fine. The outside bar also has a great lounging area where you can play a few family fun games while having a nice cold one. Or if your with a crew you could start a nice game of volleyball!! Losing team buys the drinks 😊. If your not feeling none of that, you can just chill outside and enjoy the weather it's definitely a vibe 💯👍. I give the food a 4 not because it's not good food here, but because I've never had the opportunity to eaten instead the actual restaurant and try something different. I think the menu at the outside bar area is a little different from the menu on the inside of the restaurant. But from the Pizza i get all the time when im here, I can honestly testify that it's fresh out of the pizza oven and its goooodd!!😋. I'm from Georgia but I come this way for work every summer, and i can attest... If your from out of town and your in the area, you have to give this place a try. Friendly people and a really chilled summer time vibe.👍

Owners husband was working and had no problem telling us he was sick of “out of towners” and didn’t want to be there. Had to get up to ask for everything, silverware, appetizer plates, ect. Multiple entrees came out incomplete, appetizer came out after the entrees. If out of town people aren’t welcome, no worries we won’t be back.

This place has gone down so much in the past five years. The staff works their tails off and are never not serving someone. The problem is they have like two servers for the entire restaurant inside. It's so not okay to work these folks so hard for the little pay they get. We heard the pay is the worst for the staff than the Subway team in Siren! The food is decent for the price but the lack of staff is not worth the wait. We want no part of running these folks into the ground. We will not return.

I really can't believe the service to this place it is absolutely HORRIBLE!!! From waiting forever for food apps finally come after about a half hour my food about 40 mins later and the rest of my family's food another 20 mins later.... sitting for about an hour with empty drinks just to take them to the bar to get refilled only to FINALLY be informed our SERVER LEFT! We've been trying to come here for a while only ro ever find outside open and get told outside gets majority of the business and I can see why!! The food itself was bad wasn't amazing either but due to the service don't know that I'd ever bother again!

Took forever for a server to finally come to our table after we seated ourselves Sat for nearly an hour after ordering food with no follow up or drink service. Finally after an hour an a half the only reason we got drinks was because I went to the bar to get refills. My girlfriend got her food only for her son and myself to wait another 45 min for ours. When I went to the bar to get refills on drinks, that's when I was informed that our server had left and now it was just the bartender who never came to let us know and just let us sit there with no service. If they had been busy I could understand but there was less the 6 people in the entire building including the bartender. Overall very poor experience, will NEVER be back to this establishment. Also for perspective we spent over $100 in food, so it wasn't a cheap bill. No Tip was left for this unacceptable service, they should've paid us.

Arrived at 9 pm. There were three people at the bar and a table of 4 in the dining area. None of the staff acknowledged us, so we seated ourselves after a full 5 minutes. It was another 10 minutes before we got a menu. Server took our drink order after another 5 minutes and came back with the drinks reasonably quick. Took our food order and did not get pur food for 40 minutes...the dining area was technically closed at this point. Our did not come out all at the same time but more like every 5 minutes. They messed up one order and had to redo. They were apologizing but never gave a reason for the delays. Won't go back.

Ordered pizza for dinner, and after waiting nearly an hour, it arrived. Burnt to a crispy black from top to bottom. Couldn't even pick off cheese to salvage to eat.
The waitress commented and said 'it was a little overdone' and walked away.

This was single handledly the worst customer experience I have ever experienced in my life. We were the only people in the restaurant and after waiting a very long time for our food, and having workers walk back and forth passing us without one word of why it was taking so long, seeing the cook hang out with people in the bar, asking once if we needed refills etc, I asked one of them why it was taking so long and she said she made the noodles by hand. I spent several years in the service industry and if food is taking longer you talk to your customers. You also check on them. Anyways the waiting for 40 minutes when you are the only ones in the restaurant is one thing but the cook came out after our food had arrived and handed me an apron and said if I could do a better job I could start cooking n the back. She DID THIS IN FRONT OF MY CHILDREN! It was so childish and messed up my kids didn't know what to do. I asked her to please not do this in front of my children. I felt sick to my stomach and I can't ever take that experience back from them. Tragic. Avoid at all costs!

We've eaten at Zia's many times. This last time though got me to write a review. EVERYTHING we ordered had some kind of oil all over it. The toast, (not butter) but some kind of flavorless oil. Service was slow, even though they were very empty. Not happy this time. To put it mildly, it was horrible. Did not bother taking the remainder home with us.

We were working in the area and stopped for lunch. There was a great open bar outside shaded from the sun with a separate kitchen that had great pizzas and the service was great as well. The inside part has a full menu with great prices on everything and good portions too. We've gone back several times since and had a great experience every time! Came in and the place was dead. The waitress was prompt and courteous brought our pops right away. And an hour later after seeing people come and go after we came in, we asked the owner/cook where and when are we going to get our food. She asked what we ordered and we told her, then she said in a very loud voice that she made my lasagna and my husband's meatball sandwich and asked what we did with it. The waitress came over after hearing her yell at us, and she said she never gave us any food. So we walked out and the owner/cook yelled at me never to come back because she doesn't need our business she does well enough without us. We went to enjoy a meal out and decided to try Zia's again (bad experience the last time so it had been a while) should have gone somewhere else. We ordered at 8:25 there were 2 tables leaving, another couple just ordering and my husband and me. 9:05 the waitress finally comes to our table and asks if she has taken our order. We say yes and remind her what it was. She looks through her orders and informs us she forgot to submit it! She asks if we still want it. We say yes, to go. After all, we had been sitting there for 40 minutes, we wanted out but we're starving!

The other couple left after finding out their order had not been sent either. The manager offered to comp their meal, drinks and give them a gift certificate.

We finally get our food and they keep making excuses; she's a new server...why isn't someone helping her then? I ask about the relish tray and I'm told that's not included in take out! Are you kidding me? We should have gotten that 35 minutes ago. We had been sitting in there for 40 minutes waiting for our dinner!

Meanwhile, the manager is sitting at the bar along with other staff.

My husband went in to pay and they gave him a receipt without prices. After actually giving him a correct bill (with prices) he paid, we left. We were charged full price for everything!

We won't be going back. I have told many people how wonderful Zia's food is but now I'll just be telling them how horrible their service and staff are. One time, okay. Everyone has an off day. Twice in a row, something is wrong.

We visited on a Friday evening. It was busy but there were still tables available.

We ordered appetizers and hoagies. Our food was AMAZING but it took 40 min for our appetizer to arrive and another 20 for our dinner. I had to ask for water refills and our check.

Visited the outdoor bar space. Very friendly bartender, great drinks, covered area with tables & chairs along with picnic tables outside the covered area. A band was setting up when we were about to leave. Pet friendly with water bowl. I love that there's a pool table in the middle of the covered outdoor area. This is an excellent place, well worth the drive. The food is really good and the bartenders, Sky and bobbi are very friendly and super hot! They do a great job of balancing between bulshitting with their regulars, and making a new guy like me feel welcome. We got the chicken bacon ranch and the gyro pizzas, and they were incredible. Best pizza we've had in years. The pizzas appear to be made from scratch, and they're beautifully heavy handed with the cheese and the toppings.

We had guests visiting for July 4th. We wanted to go out for dinner and called ahead to Zia's as some places are closed on the fourth of July. I had my phone on speaker when I called and asked if they were open. The woman that answered responded "Yeah, why wouldn't we be!" in a very rude tone. Everyone in the room noticed and was a little shocked. So we went there and walked into the restaurant; it was empty. We noticed people in the seating are outside but preferred to sit inside as it was hot out. As we were about to sit down a young man walked in and said they were not open for indoor dinning that night. He never even slowed down as we mentioned that we called and he responded rudely "It says that on our website too." He just kept walking leaving us to wonder why have the door open if you are not serving inside, why didn't the rude woman on the phone say that when we called, and why the very rude staff. Despite the fact that we like Zia's previous times we had been, we immediately left (who knows what they would have done to our food) and went to the new Salty Steer (which had good food and a great bartender).
They have good food but we will not pay for rudeness.

And many TV's which suggest sports bar but there was the CMT on some with nice country music videos going and a show with no captions which suggests the manager is afraid to read.

This was the first time I tried pasta and their sauce was clearly from scratch. As it cooled later the milk separated. Always a good sign for me. My daughter loved it. While there another customer ordered The baked Mostaccioli and holy cow I know what I am getting next time. Be prepared for left offers though. It was huge. Once again another successful trip to Zia's.

Food was fantastic- will be back. Atmosphere was good. When we visited the bar area was extremely loud with obnoxious bar patrons. Food made up the difference!

Very relaxed outdoor experience, the veggie pizza is awesome. Buffalo was also very very flavorful! Big with lots of cheese.
